Hey guys,
first of all, i used the search but couldnt find what im looking for.
I need a unoffical way to unlock the MTK version of the Redmi Note 3 32GB 3GB Ram
Im currently running 8.6.8.11 chinese dev rom. Root is not granted. The security app says due to safety reasons the fastboot is locked.
The phone is for colleague who doesnt speak a word english. So he asked me to install a custom rom.
After a lot of hardbrick situations (he made a update, locked the bootloader again and tried to fix it by himself ) i got the phone back alive. I cant find the old tutorial anymore with the unoffical unlock procedure. Official unlock always tells me i dont fullfill the requirements.
Does anyone of you experts here can help me to unlock the "old fashioned" MTK phone
It totally drives me crazy the last 3 days (nights) ^^

Hi Guys,
I purchased RN3 yesterday. I want to unlock the bootloader so sent the Application to Xiaomi but the process is So long an wait is killing me. So decided to unlock it unofficially . I did ltyle search and found this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-3/how-to/unlock-bootloader-twrp-root-7-2-3-t3359492
Bt the files used here are for MIUI 7 version.
So I have some queries.
1) is it safe to use the .mbn file from this tutorial? Will it work?
2) if it is not can anyone point me to the tutorial to unlock rn3 on miui 8?

after more than 14 days waiting you are asked to open a thread in the corresponding mi-forum, so someone takes care - they don't follow this forum
