good days, I have a redmi note 3 pro prime. after flashing rom with bootloader unlock, the rom works but touch screen does not work, I had to conect a mouse to start configuration.I tried several rom's but only with mouse i can access the sistem.what can I do?help me please
Pro prime is Kate, but pro is Kenzo.
Maybe revert back to stock.

Backup your data, factory reset, if problem still there, send it to miui services center. Long ago I had flashing a new rom on Samsung S4 and ended with touch screen problem and Samsung replaced me a new display for.

1. is there OTA updates for Redmi 3 PRO to MIUI 8? (i cant find anywhere this information, i only see info for redmin 3)
2. Redmi 3 ROMS works with Redmi 3 PRO device?
3. if question 2 is true... can i update safely my redmin 3 pro with redmi 3 ROMS?

Yes if ure like using an official miui dev room then u should get an ota update,
But still though to update it I think u need to unlock the bootloader(not sure about that one)
And yes redmi 3 ROMs work on 3 pro

yes there is as officially miui 8 has been released for redmi 3 pro
most work as they have the same hardware only storage and ram difference.fingerprint might not work if its only for redmi 3
you have to search the thread and see comments if someone has mentioned them running on redmi 3 pro or not.

Yes, Xiaomi upload the same system for redmi 3 and redmi 3 pro. I alraedy updated my redmi 3 pro to Miui 8 without unlocking bootloader and the fingerprint works.
Hello folks,
I was lost my phone's imei and baseband, after 1 week continuous searching I got recovered both of them, now I have a little issue.
The issue is that my phone 2nd sim card slot recognizing sim perfectly but I can't make calls from that sim or receive calls, to solve this issue I need original QCN file from Redmi note 3 Pro (Kenzo).
I request to all to provide me that file so I could get resolved this issue. It will be very appreciable.

Try flashing Miui 8 LOLLIPOP fastboot rom via edl with mi flash tool instead...it may fix ur issue.

I have already tried it, it's not worked for me.
My problem will be solved by Original/Unmodified QCN file. Is there anybody who can make backup from their redmi note 3 Pro (Kenzo) by himself and give it to me. It will be very thankful to him.

lets just say i dont know what note 4 i got if its 4SD/4X
so my questions are:
1. how to tell if its note 4SD/4X?
2. what apps to use to tell if its SD or MTK?
3. so there are different types of camera sensors, what apps to use to tell what sensors does i have? and which is better?
4. also there are 2 types of fingerprint scanner FPC and Goodix, what is better and why?
5. if my phone has unlocked bootloader can i use OTA updates without problem?
6. if rooted can i use OTA update?

1,2,3. Install AID64 app from Playstore and you will find what you need.
4. Google is your best friend:good:
5. Yes
6. Not sure but mostly a yes unless you have installed some custom recovery like twrp
7,8. Both are the same. Better to flash fastboot version instead of flashable zip. Use google to find the fastboot version rom
9. Yes but you need to modify the flashable zip before flashing or else you will end up with a locked bootloader. Those flashable zips have a script for locking bootloaders automatically.
10. Device gets tampered only if you mess around with its parts. To restore to stock using fastboot version rom ONLY. How to flash the rom? Once again google is your best friend.

I'll help some questions since someone already answered all your questions.
1. There is 3 versions, Redmi Note 4 (MTK), Redmi Note 4x (SD 3/32 and MTK 4/64), Redmi Note 4 (Global) (All SD versions) (same as 4x just different bands for global market). Easy way, look at your box.
2. That easy, some apps will do, or you can look at your about devices. If octacore SD, decacore MTK
3. Yes, there are 3 different camera sensors, Sony IMX, Samsung s5k, Omnivision OV. You can see *#*#6484#*#* which one better? Idk, some people like the sony one.
4. For custom roms, FPC better.
Just remember the code name, If you have SD version the code name is "mido" and Mediatek "nikkel" so you wont cross flashing roms.

Nope, you better don't. Note 5 pro Has SD 636 and regular Note 5 has SD 625. Similar but not the same.

Never flash a rom that isn't for your phone or you will very likely brick your phone
Android isn't like windows, you can't simply install the same version on every phone, each rom is only meant to run on a certain device with a specific configuration.

I ve been looking for samsung experience rom for long time but i couldnt find one. Recently samsung experience rom was ported for redmi note 5 pro and i was scrolling down my youtube home page and i found this video
This guy flashing samsung experience on redmi note 4 mido. Is it safe? Can i try this one? Is it made for redmi note 4 or its just redmi note 5 pro ported rom ? Please drop your reviews . If it can be tested on device let me know in comment section i really want to flash this rom on my mido device. Let me know if it is safe and also the detalied flashing process.
M currently on miui 10 suitable , bootloader unlocked nd device rooted. Redmi note 4 snapdragon.
Edit: i ve flashed samsung experience on redmi note 4 mido had bugs but after flashing patches it does well.
