Well, the last two days my phone does not charge up to 100% but up to 98%. I don't know how to calibrate the battery on this phone so I can bring it back to its normals and this was also done on MIUI (Android 5.1) and on XOSP 6.3. Now I run on Radon V1.8

Yesterday I decided to try a cm13 Rom which was working very good until it rebooted when I tried the v gesture for flash light. After that it was working the cpu on 100% all the time so I wiped everything and restored my old cm12.1 Rom after wiping. Today my battery life was horrible, around 2h SoT with no standby, usually I get around 7-8 hours with a lot of standby time. Did my battery get ****ed by the heating yesterday or what happened? I've never restored a rom before, can that have ****ed it up somehow? I just don't understand, I went from incredible battery life to buy a new phone asap battery life.
Edit: seems to be a battery calibration problem only. Have been on 1% for over an hour of SoT and some standby too.
How do I recalibrate the battery? My battery goes to 1% in 2 hours and then sits at 1% for ťhe rest of the day. Battery life is normal but I have no idea how much I have left.
Went into twrp where the reported battery % was correct and now when I rebooted system I'm up at 84% from 29 lol. Hopefully it's fixed now
Hi
So about a month ago I went from AOSP Extended 8.1 to MIUI 9.5 just to get a feel of the skin and to have better battery compared to the poor battery management of 8.1. At that time I used to get 4-5 hours SOT. Not too shabby.
After switching to MIUI I observed that I got manageable battery life but didn't like the overall look of the ROM. So I then reverted to 8.1 using Nitrogen OS. The issue started here, with even worse SOT than before and 40-50 % drain overnight. I didn't want to charge more than once everyday and decided to move to 7.1.2 as I was aware that Nougat had the best of both worlds, with much better battery and it being stock. Looked up LineageOS 14.1. Saw it was a pretty old build but I didn't think much of it and flashed it. The moment it booted up and I tried to install a couple of apps, the 70% battery went to 0 and the phone shut down. It happened a couple more times and I concluded it was an issue with the ROM. I then downloaded AOSP Extended v4.6 (7.1.2), the unofficial build from the comments and to my dismay, the battery issue has worsened. Now I'm getting less than 2.5 hours of standby, <1 hr of SOT, and the percentages are dropping by the minute! I go to bed with 50-60% charge and wake up to a switched off phone with 0% left.
Is this the complete end of the battery? Do I have to change the battery or can this be solved via alternate ROMs or kernels?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks and Regards
Smells like a badly degraded battery
hello guys
i've problem with my battery life with LineageOS 14.1, i dont know what to do anymore because i've already doing several thing before decide to make this post.
i dont know its because LineageOS 14.1 who make may battery draining so fast or no (like about 100% for 1,5 hours only)
i've already replacement my battery with new original xiaomi redmi 3 pro battery like 2 or 3 days ago (i forgot)
when its 100% of battery, the battery drain so fast from 100% to 60% just 15-20 minutes, and its last long 60% to 20% like 1 hours, and when battery indicator about 20% its just need 5 minutes to make my phone dead.
can anyoe explain it to me what's wrong with my phone? why my phone drain so much batery even when i dont use it and no background app running behind.
i dont use this phone like 3 hours without touch the phone with 100% battery, and what happend? my battery indicator point to 20% wtf.
so if anyone know what happend please tell me what im gonna do
sorry for my bad english anyway
thanks regard
Greetings everyone, the last couple of days i've been trying some roms, like Lineage OS 16 and Havoc OS. With the first one my max SOT was 6 hours, but i had some trouble with the animations, they were laggy sometimes and i din't know why, so i installed stock pie with tachyon kernel (with interactive governor). Everything is working fine but i noticed that my battery drained very quickly, so...
Yesterday i let the phone shut down (when it stopped turning on i boot on TWRP and let the phone die completely), then i charged it all night and when i wake up i figured it out that my battery was draining even faster (my sot now is about 3 hs, 3:30 max). I tried to calibrate with apps and everything but i don't know what else should i do.
Also, when i connect the phone for charging it tooks 2 hours from 80 to 100% (the problem isn't my charger because i tested it on another phone and it works fine)
Please if someone could help me i'd be very grateful.
Pd: I forgot to say that recently i charged the phone till it was 83% and it's lasting longer than if i would have charged it till 100%
No matter which ROM I flash, my phone's battery gets depleted over the night. I can't even see what's causing the drain as by morning the phone runs out of juice and gets switched off. The phone was running fine when I was using xiaomi.eu ROM. I recall flashing the latest firmware and an AOSP based ROM; since then the phone gets way too hot and battery drain ensues.
Right now I have ArrowOS (Android 11) flashed and face the same issues. I'm thinking about downgrading to the last stable firmware that's available here (https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/archive/firmware/mido/) in the hope that it would solve the problem.
Is this safe? Is there any way I can solve the battery drain issue? Please help me!
P.S. My phone has stock kernel that came with the phone out of the box.

There really is no reason why this should happen on all custom ROMs.
So either your battery is dying or one of your apps is draining your battery

Try calibrating your phone's battery.
steps-
1. fully charge your phone keeping it switched off.
2. turn on phone and leave it on standby (DO NOT USE IT AT ALL)
3. after it switches off automatically, plug it in again (KEEP IT SWITCH OFF)
repeat this 2-3 times
Also, post your battery log
If this doesn't works, either your battery is faulty or its issue with motherboard

I used AccuBattery to check the health of the battery; it says almost 93% which seems unlikely because I used this phone for almost two years continuously. Surprising thing is I have a Redmi 1S as well which I bought six years ago. It keeps chugging along fine and doesn't have any battery drain issues. If it weren't for the 1 GB RAM and accompanying sluggish performance I would be still using that as my backup.
Anyway, I'm gonna do what you suggested and see if it works. How do I get the battery log?
In terms of battery life, Zeelog's Android 10 with Kernel 3.18 is the best choice, for example, I have about 1-2% loss in flight mode in 24 hours, inactive with WLAN about 3-6% in 24 hours.
Do a clean install.
