Well.. I have a problem that is: When I try to get the CM11 with CWM i got Error (Status 7) but managed to fix it by deleting the very first line in the updater-script.
Now I start to get Error (Status 6) and I don't know why.
I have the lastest Recovery and Im trying to flash the lastest SNAPSHOT edition of CM11.
Thanks in advance.

Status 7 is normally caused by the updater script and can be solved by using latest cwm recovery or try Twrp or PhilZ recovery.

Okay, thanks. I thought about using TWRP, but PhilZ Recovery.. I'll try it.
Just fixed my phone because I bricked it again and I literally have no idea how. (Most probably one of the common S3 bugs)
And about the CWM version, I had the lastest one but as I said above, I'll try the other 2.
Nevermind, it gives me the Status 7 on PhilZ too..

OK lol just checking give twrp a try and also look at this >> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2302599 <<
"Noob friendly ways.." That gave me a good chuckle..
Well, Ill try TWRP tomorrow. Ill let you know if it worked. Anyway, Ive done the deletion of "assert();",didnt work, im sure its the right version and its even the Snapshot edition so even less chances its from them.
No better.. Ive checked and I have the codename for it as "m0", I had the lastest versions of these Recoveries and the right versions for CM11 and Hypermax, still no clue why it doesnt work..
Ill reinstall my PC and Ill try the Windows Installer for CM11 maybe it'll work, too bad its a hassle to try that installer on XP (since Im using a pretty old laptop with XP and Linux atm)
Ill let u know about everything releated to this since there might be others with the same problem.
This was the second time I tried flashing a ROM but I get to learn things fast since Im very experienced with IT releated stuff
tnx for info

You're already safe with ZCX recovery as it includes dm-verify to avoid getting bootloader locked. If you flash the lazy flasher after flashing MIUI, that won't change anything and you will still boot to MIUI. You can flash lazy flasher if you want but its not required.

You are a fool, if you are going to flash official miui.
Because you will end up with bloatware and china letters, etc
If you wan to use miui, simply flash xiaomi.eu
It never locks BL, optimised,...removed china crap. Else is the same china dev base.
Also you have gplay preinstalled and services.

It's incredible, nobody has any idea.
1- flash miui rom
2- flash miui firmware
Use always ZXC twrp.
Never use oficial roms, encrypt data partition and can relock bootloader, use xiaomi.eu roms.

Been using the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 (Kenzo) for a long time now and since the ROM was outdated, I decided to update it this past weekend. However for whatever reason, something broke and I've been getting bootloops. Since then, this is what I did and it still doesn't work.
Used MiFlash to fastboot flash MIUI v8.5.1.0 Global Stable, and then OTA updated to v8.5.2.0.
Test the phone to make sure all functions work properly.
Immediately officially unlocked the bootloader using Mi Unlock.
Fastboot flashed TWRP 3.1.1.0.
Made EFS and ROM backups as usual.
Clean flashed Resurrection Remix 5.7.4 (Radon kernel) with /data and /cache as F2FS.
Flashed Open Gapps 6.0 ARM64 Mini.
Right now, I'm back to running stock MIUI v8.5.1.0, which was flashed using MiFlash. Then I did the OTA update to MIUI v8.5.2.0. May someone please guide me or correct the above steps in order to install the linked Resurrection Remix ROM? Or maybe a Nougat ROM?

Flash LOS 13 which is far stable than the RR 5.7.4. You should've flashed another rom before moving back to MIUI. The process you followed is correct but you also need to flash the compatible firmware like for RR you need CM13 firmare and for LOS you'll the recommended firmware posted in the thread itself.
I went through some ROM threads and one recommended flashing MIUI8 Global DEVELOPER and not Global STABLE. Am I supposed to be using MIUI 8 Global DEVELOPER as the starting point?

The Resurrection Remix build I linked is based off of LineageOS 13 so it should be stable.
So you're saying I missed flashing a firmware? I see some ROMs recommend flashing the firmware, while others don't. Which is the proper firmware to flash if the ROM thread doesn't state which firmware to use?

The one on this thread. Second post.
well seems to be a new problem...
so what must be done... i will suggest to get latest miui fastboot rom from here
https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-3/how-to/links-direct-official-download-links-t3449488
flash it via mi flash tool (im running 64 bit os ,so using mi flash beta ) in edl mode by wiping full things including storage..
if your boot loader is unlocked official way it must be unlocked now also if not i guess you know how to unlock it officially.
then use official twrp from
www.twrp.me
i faced this issue once and did the exact steps above and now no problem..
by the way i tried things like unplugging battery from the board... lol... read in miui forum...
I've been having very similar issues (updated official firmware in a non officially unlocked bootloader).
It's been hell but I've managed to get los14.1 installed. Now my issue lies with constant gapps crashes. I'm thinking of just giving up and getting miui.

I've tried yesterdays version. Play store wouldn't even open. Dirty flashed 0625 play store opens but a lot of apps crash, everything works fine with 0303.
I'm flashing miui and I'm going to try the official bootloader unlock, but this have been a couple of strange days.

dirty flashing isn't a solution ... theres changes in trees of the rom and kernel..
anyway head back to miui unlocl officially and when coming back to custom rom do wipe everything and give it a shot..probably the crash may be due to over written or exiating files...
happy flashing

I should mention I clean flashed the ROMs. Updated OP.
Ok trying it again right now and so far, this is what I did:
Used MiFlash to fastboot flash MIUI v7.7.6 Global DEV.
Test the phone to make sure all functions work properly.
Tried to unlock bootloader using Mi Unlock but it said bootloader is already unlocked.
Boot into MIUI again.
Fastboot flashed TWRP 3.1.1.0.
No boot into MIUI.
Flash Kenzo firmware 8.2.4.0 in TWRP
Clean flash LineageOS 13 and Open Gapps 6.0 ARM64 Mini with /data and /cache in EXT4
IT WORKS!
I guess now I'll try Resurrection Remix.
I have recently unlocked my bootloader and install redwolf recovery but now i am stuck in bootloop not matter which ever ROM i install. Nothings Working. I tried RR(treble), OmniRom and Pixel Experience but cant go beyond Boot animation.
I am Currently on MIUI Global 9.5.11.0 (Indian Device). Please help me to resolve this issue.

Also, clean flash recommended.
So i am on Aex rom .
Now i am trying to flash hydrogen port miui10 or the epic rom port.
i have unofficially unlocked the bootloader so i am using Safe Twrpv2.
Now the rom boots but it is stuck at bootlogo even after 30 min.
i have tried everything from flashing the univeral_boot to flashing lazy flash but the problem persists.
what actually happens is that after several minutes the phone starts to vibrates in gap of sometime with screen going bright and dim.
I desperately want to flash miui rom throught recovery.
Has anyone else faced this issue.
What could be the possible reasons and how to solve this????

If u r unofficially unlocked then be careful . dont flash any firmware zip. It may relock ur bootloader.
Use latesttwrp 3.2.3 official.
Atleast once Format data(not wipe data) to decrypt ur data and internal sd..
On what miui rom u unlocked ur phone?

i usually use redwolf but for miui i am using this safe twrp.

First thing is u unlocked ur phone on old miui6 rom. May be Lollipop miui rom. That means ur bootloader partition is outdated.
Most recent custom roms need latest miui bootloader to boot roms.
U cant upgrade ur boot loader using firmware zip with emmc appboot file. Which will relock ur phone and will bootlooop coz U unlocked ur phone unofficially .
Only offiicial unlock can update bootloader.
Now u may have tried lazy flasher or whatever patch in past. So u can try those patch to boot into miui ported roms.
I never tried hydrogen ported roms. Coz i heard lot of negative feedbacks from users who came from hydrogen roms. So i never attempted to try.
After u came from global miui u must format data. Coz miui encrypt ur phone data and internal sd by default.
If u never used format data command in past then u should do atleast once.
Encrypted data and internal sd are common
Cause which stops ur custom roms booting.

Its aex nougat Nov 13 2018 build. With stock kernel (heard that nougat gives best battery backup)
It gave 4.5 hours sot initially with negligible standby drain but now standby drain has increased

Flash this recent kenzo firmware zip. It doesn't have emmc file. It is safe. It wont relock.
