update your Xperia m4 aqua through Xperia companion install xperia Companion on your PC and connect your phone you will see the marshmallow update .

Thank you sir, but when i connect through Xperia companion, i do not see the update. Maybe you see the update because you are in India; Sony only released Marsmallow in India. That was also my question, why they only released in India. But maybe no one knows, except Sony

i just bought xperia tipo dual with android 4.0.4 yesterday and its really amazing phone to have
so when i connected it to the pc . the sony pc companion comes up
and telling me that there is new android software is avaliable for your phone
so can anyone tell me what is that update ????

It might be a small patch ove ICS.. don't expect JB for tipo
and other thing.. this thread is for U/SOLA/GO

You have got Factory buildversion as 11.0.A.1.8 on your Xperia Tipo Dual
As sony itself provides updates to their user, So what u are viewing is and message to inform you about update.
You can update it using Pc Companion.
Choose to keep data other wise you will loose things on your device. Choose update option.
The Update you viewing is a TFT update from Sony
The New Buildversion would be 11.0.A.6.5
Android version after this update will remain same as 4.0.4

I have Xperia C5 Ultra Dual and I recently Updated my device to Marshmallow [OTA Update]
and I'm having some problems with the system ..
so I want to install a clean stock M ftf with flashtool
but I searched in internet and found that xperia c4 and c5 getting bricked while flashing with flashtool
I was wondering if there is any way to flash a stock marshmallow rom on my c5 with flashtool .. without having any problems ??

If you updated ota your device is a stock so just use xperia companion and do a software repair it's essentially the same thing. It'll reinstall the whole ftf from scratch just like flashtool.

But you can use Flashtool v.0.9.19*** and it's works great !!
