Hi,
The Xiaomi Mi A3 is an Android One phone, is an authorized Xiaomi account necessary to flash the official ROM from EDL mode when the bootloader is locked?
The Mi A1 and A2 / Lite phones also Android One, don't require an authorized account in the same case, what's the difference with the Mi A3, perhaps the elf programmer file?

Nope. You don't need authorization. Just tear off the back cover and short edl points

(Dlet?)
go to Fastboot mode & unlock
go to EDL mode using command :
Code:
fastboot flashing unlock
fastboot flashing critical_unlock
fastboot oem edl
My phone went into bootloop without any hacking/modding. I ended up EDL but whenever I flash I get a unauthorized from the flash tool.

Same thing happened to me, you need an authorized Mi account to flash in EDL mode. I had to connect remotely to someone who had an authorized Mi account to unbrick it.

hello.
if you were so kind to provide who was your contact? i have the same error and like to unbrick it too.
it just boot to fastboot mode (the one with the rabbit and the android).
thanks in advance for your comments.
Hi, I am facing similar issue as my phone is also in the fastboot mode.
Xiaomi is telling to contact their service center but in the current scenario, this is not possible.
Can you suggest how to get some OS installed so that my phone is unbricked.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
The problem is, i had never enable USB debugging. So no tool seems to be working.
The issue occured when i received an OTA update for Android 10 and my phone went into restart mode.
There it got stuck on the fastboot screen.
I dont know if this occured due to it having being connected to charger at that point of time.
Anyways, is there any alternate option considering the USB debugging is not enabled and neither is the bootloader unlocked.

Please describe the current status of your device. If your device is unlocked, you can enter fastboot and flash with miflash. If your device is not unlocked, please go to the after-sales service for help, or you need to pay to request a merchant with an edl account to help you flash the phone
i edit some script file and flash it via TWRP.
that time my phone can't boot.
so i tried with edl mode and it asking for an authorized Xiaomi account to flash the firmware.
my Xiaomi account not authorized i don't know why..

Now only Xiaomi official service personnel can operate the edl flashing of Xiaomi mobile phones, and ordinary people do not have this permission
hello .... I have a sister redmi note 4 who has a bootloop ... on the screen with the MI logo it keeps restarting .... it goes to fastboot but not to recovery ... the bootloader is locked and I still can't unlock it because what I looked so unlocked in the system by logging into my MI account ... but I can't get to the system ... I tried my flash but it says that it did something for 4 seconds and nothing still the same .... I tried to put it into download mode - by connecting contacts on the board and miflash download ROM to the phone but bootloop still continues
do you have any ideas?
the phone was so stupid that it kept restarting but always after several restarts it started but now even after two days of restart it didn't start ...
thanks sorry for my english
I had a stroke reading this.
Unlocked bootloader is the basic requirement of flashing. If you don't have it, then sorry you're out of options.
Your only option is to flash stock ROM through test-point method. DO IT ON YOUR OWN RISK.
You can find Xiaomi stock ROMs of your device here (MTK) or here (MIDO).
Of course you can always just send your device to a repair center and change it there.
Goodluck.
test point method is lint two pins od board and run mobile to download mode? I try it ... flashing was succesfull but mobile ist still bootloop

You need to flash stock ROM not any other ROM.
As in the same ROM you had before any issue. Because your bootloader is locked it will refuse to run any boot image that isn't registered in it.
If you have a backup maybe you can flash it through download mode.
I try ROMs from your link and not working...always bootloop I try a lot of ROMs - global, china, stable, weekly and not working....flash is succesfull around 190seconds.... but still bootloop

I Can't help you there mate.
Maybe there is a way to get system info from bricked phone. Maybe through a hex editor or something. That way you know exact version of the ROM you had.
So instead of that maybe you can unlock your bootloader, just request from Xiaomi unlock code with your XIaomi account and unlock it. It usually takes 30-60 days for the request to go through.
Where I find old way to unlock bootloader? because in new unlocker I unlock phone butt I must log in to my account in system... thanks

Hi all
I have a mi 11 lite 5g stuck in EDL mode, I tried to buy 10 credits for xiaomi king tool and use that as EDL requires auth - but it didn't work, servers are always down, please don't fall for it like it did.
Anyway, does anyone here who can successfully flash the phone?

Tried it doesn't work. None of the normal tools will work, as it requires EDL authentication. Got to pay for that atm unless someone comes up with a free way of doing it.

Seems impossible..only authorized account works
Open the back cover of the device. Enter edl mode from the test point. install fastboot rom with authorized mi account
