So I am using this device, and the fist thing I did, was root via ODIN with CFoot and then, frlash the N900 ( hlte ) twrp recovery and flash a N5 port rom N900 thread, and all worked. Arfter a frew days of normal use, it bricked inm y pocked. Just turned ofrf and bootloop. Anything I flash via Odin back, keeps in bootloop ( even stock rom 5.0 fo Sprint ) which was there at the beginning. It doesn't boot into recovery ( it starts showing recovery booting, recovery is not seandroid enforcing , set warranty bit: recovery ) and it turns off.. and only Download mode is accesible, but only if battery is on and cable is in. Whit kind of bootloop is that? It's alive but it's not [email protected] What should I flash to make it work? I even flashed with PIT file, and no changes...
It starts booting 1 second and it turns off. If I flash CF root again, the boot text is changed, but it turns off again after 1 second. So it flashes things, but it doesn't boot!
1- Turn off your phone
2- remove battery, wait just 5 seconds and put it
3- Flash stock rom for sprint using odin
This must solve your pb,
Turn off phone. Boot into Download mode by holding down power, volume down and home button at the same time. Plug phone into your computer and start up odin. Load the stock image file into the pda slot. Check reboot when finished. Should fix you up.

Was working with Partition on CWM 6.0.47, after Reboot the phone goes dead after Showing Samsung and Yellow Triangle. Had JASP ROM installed for a month without problems. Now cant even go to recovery using Vol Up + Home + Power as it does vibrate for boot, shows Samsung screen and goes blank without opening the recovery menu..
Any pointers to get it to work again will be appriciated
thanks

never ever mess or touch the partition table without knowing anything and never you should rebbot in cwm recovery as it may lead to boot loop or even hard brick your device
may be going in download mode and flashing cwm again will help..and tick the autoreboot option this time..if this does not help then try flashing rom using odin.. .tar.md5 or .tar file are used for odin flashing.. get it and flash ..
If Cwm flashing fails, re flash ROM problem solved.
My phone is MDK and used to have TWRP recovery. I was flashing a rom (EMPTY GALAXY) via TWRP and on the reboot it got in the bootloop. The symptoms are:
Can't boot into recovery, simply goes into BOOTING RECOVERY loop
Won;t even start without a cable, I put a charged battery and didn't want to start with just battery.
I reflashed the emergency MDK image via Odin with success, but still can't make the past BOOTING RECOVERY loop. I tried with PIT and without PIT file.
The only thing I can get into is the download mode
Kies 3 says says unsupported phone, while Kies2 keeps trying to connect
Kinda running out of options
Hi there,
I am new to android phone and I had an old Grand Quattro GT-I82552 to play with.
I followed the guide at xda http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2494471, downloaded
- ODIN v3.07
- CWM Recovery v6.0.4.5
- Stock Recovery GT-I8552
I followed the steps and flash CWM Recovery v6.0.4.5, but on next boot it won't go to CWM recovery mode (I did removed battery first). I tried many times with other CWM from different sources and now my phone won't boot, it just show up the Samsung Logo with yellow triangles, then shutdown. It doesn't look like a loop boot, as it shutdown entirely. I can't charge the phone either.
I can still go in the usb downloading mode so I flashed the stock recovery, no luck, phone still can't boot.
Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.
EDIT: I found out that I was too careless to noticed that Volume UP is required for boot into CWM, instead as Volume DOWN. So I can boot into CWM now, however I supposed I can withhold my SuperSU install, and just boot into my stock Samsung appearance by normal shutdown and startup of my phone? I can't, everytime I tried to power on, it get's me to empty battery screen then shut off. I can't seem to charge the phone as well.
Have you tried charging the phone for a few hours while in recovery mode, and then turn the device on?

Thank you for your suggestion I will try that. Actually I tried to splice a USB wires and connect red/black to +/- contact for the battery and charge it for few hours, it doesn't seem to get hot, and certainly the phone still can't switch on with the battery.
Initially I thought maybe I messed up the firmware (really I only flash cwm) hence the phone's battery charge controller is not working that's why I tried external charging, but I am not too sure now.
My only hope is to get a way to verify I have enough battery power so I can flash the stock recovery in "downloading mode". I dare not flash recovery without full battery, though the download mode can be accessed while I plugin into PC's usb port.

Don't worry your phone will charge while in recovery around 2% in 6-7 minutes. After that you can flash stock os via Odin. Next time you try to flash recovery don't check auto reboot in Odin when flashing of tar file will complete remove battery and boot to recovery. Then flash supersu

Thanks for your advice. I took both of your advice and had my phone flashed with Stock ROM and now it returned to normal with fully charged battery sign shown. My battery appears to be fine with and fully charged, the battery current probably can't be detected with my broken phone back then.
With StockROM in and fully battery, I redo the custom flashing and I am now on custom ROM! Though have some problem with the ROM (battery report not correct, no front camera..) but I am happy now the phone is back to work now.
Thank you very much.
I used TWRP to recover from a backup but at the end it said FAILED! I restarted the phone and the screen went blank and nothing happened. I couldn't get anything to work. If I plugged the phone into the charger the red light would flash. I booted the phone into fast boot and was able to flash using flashtools. I put 23.0.1.A.0.167. Customization : Customized US on it but when the phone turns on it plays the start up song and reboots. I guess it's stuck in a bootloop.
You re not bricked,
Just re flash using flashtool and download another firmware and wipe data in flahtool before proceeding with flashin the new .ftf
while flashing dont use your pc otherwise it will occur a bootloop. Happens to me every time if i use my pc while flashing.
make the wipes
just reflash the same ftf file but make sure you tick the wipes and press and hold the power button and vol up till phone vibrate 3 times before you conect it in download mode
Okay so i have been using my s6 edge for a while and got bored with the stock rom and the root was successful but when i flashed twrp onto it i rebooted and it stays on the Galaxy S6 Edge sreen (the one before the flashing samsung logo) it also says "kernel is not seandroid enforcing " but just stays on this screen until the batter dies out i have tried using odin and odin can't read it i tried samsung kies but that can't read it either so i have deemed my pc useless in this situation
really need this phone to work so any advice would be much appreciated

Can you get into download mode or recovery mode?
If you can get into recovery mode then wipe data/cache.
If you can get to download mode flash stock firmware and start again.
To get into recovery hold only down and power for 10 seconds, as soon as the screen goes off to reboot switch to recover combo, home and up amd power for 20 seconds until it boots to recovery. Try that first.
