He gave me VS985 and he moved on to D855. Then we both went official. His unofficial build won't be updated. This one will.

This has ambient display, which is essentially peek. Hover is headsup, and dsb functionality can be gained from viper.

So the rom works great so far.. only issue is that Phone app does not work. When I try to make a call it ends it immediately. Any idea how to fix this?

Calls work but be dialer app does not. You can download the official Google dialer from the play store.
