I have installed OMEGA rom but it is stopped at booting page.
is there any difference btween korean version and international one??
somebody help!!
The version of Samsung Galaxy S3 with support LTE for the Korean market has been officially announced. Unlike the American version, the Korean version uses a chipset quad-core Exynos rather than a Qualcomm snapdragon,as the international model ,then your problem is not in the provenance , used ODIN for return to a rom stock samsung ....
but it is not a lte model. it is officially same with world wide 3g model.

You can only use custom ROMS that were built for Korean handsets.
Unfortunately....but it is true.
We have a forum designated for Korean handset only.
Go and check it out....there are a few ROMs posted already.

You would think they would since they are identical but they don't. We don't have same model number but insides are the same. Only one Rom out - presto but I think that is mainly just with unneeded bs removed. Same people are working on Rom called - Prestige. Just waiting...

But the quad core used in quattro is backdated and can be compared with latest dual core processors and also gpu is not good in comparison with the price value. And samsung even did not release v4.2 for our quattro so it is expected that they wont release update for 4.4

I think someday samsung will give us update atleast 4.2 but if they can give 4.4 its a miracle

Samsung focus on the new devices like SIII or S4, so i don't think ur device will get any update. We will need a custom rom anyway...
Motorola has gone to new heights by saying that all of its Android devices launched in 2012 will get the 4.4 update as the new OS is supposed to support low end phones...The Moto X is getting the 4.4 today...
Its a shame that Motorola do not sell Android phones in India
i8552 ROM update please
I believe KitKat could fit well in galaxy win as it is designed more for the low memory gadgets....actually, someone has build a ROM 4.4 already for this device....and I have tested it working perfectly the only problems are most of the major settings do not function as expected like WiFi, 3g network, and dual sim support and maybe some more...but at least I found no fc for it....so maybe just a little fix for the WiFi is needed including the sim support, 3g network and maybe more.....
_________my 1st post but not my 1st try for the ROMs here_____I use I8552 running stock after JASProm and n8000 running perfect kitKat by ibrahim____thanks to all developers for the support and making things possible.......

ssdev bro can u do it alone.. ? jb or kk?
I'm losing my hopes for a Cyanogenmod for our device, developers seem to be a bit lazy working on it. Since we have a Cyanogenmod 11 working, with only a few bugs, which seem to be getting fixed slowly by the developers of SG Ace 2X, the only problem left is the network connection issue, but looks like nobody cares ...

Bro, let's be honest and real, there are Cyanogenmod 10 and 11 versions for very low-end devices, did they all have ports? No. Usually they built Cyanogenmods from the source, now THAT is a really hard thing, we have a Cyanogenmod 11 that works on our device almost flawlessly without even porting the ROM, and we have quite enough developers now, I think. So to be honest, we are lazy...

Build from Samsung source
Maybe I am too stupid, but why one can not start from the S Duos Samsung sources and integrate CM 11 stuff.
Samsung source for Duos are available and this would allow to have a network for 2 sims available.
What I am missing here ????????????

CM Development of dual sim is not possible bcoz CM team has not created any source for dual sim phones...They only Support single sim devices.

Even we can get the network to work on CM 11, it is just a small patch to system/core. But to create that patch we need someone who has knowledge in Java and Smali editing.
Forget about dual sim
I don't want dual sim if only one sim is working it's fine
but plzzzz make this rom work
I know galaxy grand 2 is not a premium device but still I'd be very grateful if someone could come up with some good roms like cyanogenmod as grand2 has the same hardware configuration as that of the Motorola's moto g
Good day! I got my note 3 sm-n900k from korea and i just want to know if i could use different custom roms available for note 3 or should i look for a rom that is for sm-n900k only?
