How do i re-lock the bootloader to get rid of the corruption message? im trading in phone soon.

Nope

fastboot oem lock?

You have to reinstall the oem system. Then run fastboot oem lock. There is literally a thread on it in this forum. Search is your friend.

Taking OTA after s-off

Today I relocked my bootloader and ruu to stock. I need to bring the phone in over ongoing SIM issues. I am s-off. If I take the ota, will I be able to re-unlock?

Would I just unlock the way I did the first time? I thought the htcdev unlock didn't work after the update.

I think fastboot oem unlock will work since you are s off. But if that doesn't work then you can flash the same unlock bin token that you did the first time.

Anyone on a mac?

I have a VZW One Max and was wondering what you methods you used for root , unlocking the boot loader, s-off. Firewater?
Am I better off using Linux? Don't have Windows.

Type *#*#7378423#*#* into your dialer
Go to service info
Configuration
You should see bootloader unlockable: yes
This means your bootloader is unlockable

Ok got it, if it says no.. Is there no chance to make it unlockable?

Safest way back to stock

Hello all,
I'm rooted only. Nothing fancy. Would a factory reset be detrimental or is there a better safer way?
