I bought a "genuine" battery from eBay but apparently it's for a i9100 and not my gt-i9100. The battery didn't work as expected and would quickly drain within a few hours of norm use. Is there a difference or is the seller just saying that to make it sound like I am at fault for thinking the i9100 and gt-i9100 were the same model phones?
Thanks.

They are the same device. And I wouldn't be buying "genuine" samsung batteries off anyone other than samsung. It is more than likely a fake.
You could try Anker brand, they have a good reputation

Yeh, I'd tried ordering an Anker battery off the one Australian seller, and it just never came, so they refunded it and I didn't consider ordering from them again.
Amazon doesn't actually deliver to Australia for this particular item, but I've ordered one using the AustPost mail forwarding service (ShopMate), and hopefully it wouldn't cost too much more and it gets delivered without any issues. I can report back here on how it goes, if anyone is interested?

I'm currently using it on my phone and they have been very reliable.

I know there's tons of threads about the best replacement batteries and the best extended batteries, but I'm looking for OEM from Samsung, NFC capable batteries. I'm well aware that they won't be as cheap as the high-capacity ones, but I seem to have misplaced my OEM battery while swapping it out for my extended one.
I don't really want to trust Ebay, unless they're a 100% valid seller carrying OEM batteries which won't boot-loop.
Thanks.

Well, I'm sure it'll "work" but it'll work just like all the other i9100 batteries work. Boot-Looping and no "NFC" label.
Can someone explain to me what the Label actually means? Is the NFC chip inside the battery, or does the battery just "allow" the waves to pass through it without any interference? If the latter, will non-oem batteries cause interference?
Also, I went ahead and bought theses:

Ok, thanks for that information.
I just got a reply from the seller. Here's what I asked, and the reply:
"Is this product: http://www.all4cellular.com/samsung-eb-l1a2gba-battery.html An OEM battery? As in, it was made by Samsung in Korea, allows USB charging, does not Boot-Loop, and is NFC capable?"
Answer:
"
Yes its an OEM Battery manufactured by Samsung in Korea, does support USB charger, doesnt Boot Loop and depending on your cellular device is compatible with Near Field Communication."

Yeah I have also been checking for the two batteries on amazon, as well as ebay, and still nothing lol.
Ordered one a couple days ago and should get it sometime next week.
Im getting really good battery life with the stock Samsung amd hopefully the Anker will be even better.
Received mine today. It came in nice retail packaging. Seems to be made of good quality and appears to be slightly thicker and heavier to me.
I'll have to see how it performs over the next few days.

Does anyone know if this charger works with the GN3 battery? I saw it on the bottom of the Anker GN3 battery on Amazon as a "Frequently Bought Together" pair but the amazon link doesn't specifically say Note 3, which looks alot bigger than the other batteries listed.
The Charging Kit is available on Verizon's Web site (spare battery and charger).

The description says that the maximum length the charger fits is 2.6 in (6.6cm) and the output voltage is 4.2v. It doesn't charge the S4 due to the output voltage being lower than needed (4.35v). I'd assume that would be the same voltage required for the Note 3? I looked at a few sites but couldn't find anything. Maybe someone else that knows can chime in.

Hi
I'm new here and was hoping to get a bit of advise. I need to get a new battery for an old Samsung Galaxy SII (i9100) and I have been having a look on Amazon. I know the correct battery I need but what troubles me is the amount of conflicting reviews on the batteries. Almost all of them have 50/50 people saying they work or don't work and it gets even worse when you try to look for a genuine Samsung battery with most of the reviews claiming that they are not in fact genuine Samsung.
What I'm hoping is that one of you have bought one in the past that worked okay either genuine or non genuine (it just needs to work) and that you remember which one it was you bought so I can take a look at that one too. At the moment I'm just confused by all the noise in the reviews and haven't got a clue which I should be going with.
Thanks in advance.

Make sure seller is highly rated do not buy from seller who has got bad feedback or small amount of feedbacks. Ask them before purchase if it is gonna work in the UK. Charging will be different than UK standards you have to buy your own one that's for sure. Be very careful you can't risk that much money pay with PayPal and if it is OK make the payment "pay after delivery" .

It looks as if you only get a 1 year warranty compared to the usual 2 year warranty. I personally would rather wait a couple of weeks and get it from the UK. Imagine 6 months down the line you need to send it for repair under warranty...to China!!! Or you get one with a defect and need to return it. To me it would be too much of a pain for the sake of waiting. Just my opinion though [emoji6]...

Hello,
Now that I have my shiny new G3, I'd like to get at least one extra battery and an external charger to keep them ready all the time for when I run out.
Did any of you find these available to buy yet? I can't find them anywhere (I'm in the UK but would consider international deliveries too).
Let's use this thread to post places where we can buy them.
Thanks!
I just per-ordered mine actually, and I was comparing the Korean version to the t-mobile version, and they have headphones, an extra battery and a battery charger. I Actually found the Korean LG website that sells the Battery and the Charger! BUT! I can't read Korean.. and on top of everything you need to register to order it.. Anyone else found the OEM battery and OEM charger?
I will technically have 3 batteries and 2 external chargers. I'm sure they will sell them on eBay, I may part my extra one I'll have to see when I get my replacement F400S.
