DisplayManagerServiceEx Wakelock - T-Mobile LG V10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Anyone else have issue with this wakelock? From my limited research, this is a V10 specific wakelock (not sure if it's T-mobile version only), but this wakelock is killing my deep sleep time.

[Q] ADB and wakelocks

Is it possible to determine from ADB what process holds a wakelock. In particular I'm interested in what process on my Samsung S4 GT9505 running 4.3 is holding the wifi multicast wakelock, ie if any app is using WifiManager.MulticastLock
http://developer.android.com/reference/android/net/wifi/WifiManager.MulticastLock.html
I'm trying to debug standby power drain -- it's wifi wakelocks. I've quietened my home network has best I can, but I'm interested in whether
a) the stock kernel leaves multicast enabled even in standby (unlike the nexus)
AND/OR
b) Any app - perhaps stock bloatware - has acquired the multicast wakelock
I couldn't see anything in logcat, but perhaps if I knew what I was looking for...
Tips welcome.
Note - I'm not rooted. Mostly due to needing to use apps that have too good root detection (sky go)

SMSDispatcher wakelock, phone can't sleep

Device: Galaxy S3 i9300. Cyanogenmod 10.2. Googy Max kernel 1.8.0.
Suddenly that wakelock appears in BBS, and Wakelock detector. CPU keeps in 200 MHz, never go to deep sleep.
Didn't change anything this last couple of days, apps nor configuration nor any.
Google it and the info is confused to me, many technical stuff and weird code things.
In one old XDA thread someone fixed this very problem changing the SIM card for a new one. Didn't work for me.
Sometimes rebooting the phone solves everything, but then after a while thís battery eater wakelock pops up and brings devastation with it.
Please, some help with this will be appreciate

[Q] msm_hsic_host

I have a droid turbo and am getting a regular wakelock labeled msm_hsic_host. I thought this was related to the phone's radio, but I turned on airplane mode and the wakelock continues. Anyone know what this is and how to fix it?

Excess battery drain while phone idle

Hi guys,
I am using micromax canvas 5 e481 android lollipop stock rom and custom recovery rooted xposed. For last few days my phone battery is draining a lot while phone is idle. I installed better battery stats which shows zero deep sleep and 99% as awake. But wakelocks doesn't show any culprit. The wakelock detector shows suspend battery wakelock most of the part. But i can't find any such wakelock on net. The stock battery usage shows phone idle as the 40%. I have used greenify, juice defender, power nap, app ops xposed deep sleep battery saver no wakelock. But nothing is helping. Set wifi and location services to off stopped google play services disabled system update services but still no luck. A few days back while experimenting it started to go in deep sleep but again it disappeared and now no luck at all. Can't attach the screenshots as newbie here. I would greatly appreciate if anybody could help. Thanks.
Use amplify (xposed) app https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/mod-nlpunbounce-reduce-nlp-wakelocks-t2853874

Bluetooth wakelocks

Using an Amazfit Stratos smartwatch paired with this phone running Amazfit app and Notify & Fitness. I found out that the phone hasn't really be going into deep sleep due to the constant wakelocks and I suspect it may be most definitely due to the smartwatch connection.
In GSam under kernel wakelocks these two would be the highest and their wakelocks times would be similar:
898000.qcom, qup_uart
hal_bluetooth_lock
As there's little information posted about this and I'd ike to find out more before assuming anything more , I'd like to ask is it normal when connected to a smartwatch?

It is easy to find out if the culprits are the ones you suspect. Disable the app and check in GSam.
To maintain connectivity with the watch, the app will hold a wakelock for BT. However, the implementation of the app decides how long it is held. In a badly coded app, it can create an issue.
Hey OP, have you found out any resolution for your problem? I just purchased a Bluetooth earphone and have been seeing the same wakelocks ?????
I've been having the same issue with PE Rom. Android 10. 12/12/2019
