Hi, my car has an Android infotainment system running 2.3.7 (yes, can't update that). It's rooted and I used to use an app called Market Helper to change the device identifier to access the Google Play Store. I don't know what I did, but in the recent weeks I can't access the Play Store anymore. I tried changing it back to default in Market Helper and it gives me a 'No Android ID found' error.
Trying to access Play Store will throw up an error saying 'Server Error' will pop up. I've tried clearing the Play Store cache, clearing the Google Framework cache, removing the Google Account and re-adding it, but to no avail.
As a last-ditch attempt, I removed the Play Store and the Google Framework and reinstalled them by gaining root access. Now the Google Account is removed. I tried re-adding my account but it says during the account login process that it 'Can't establish a reliable connection to the server'. I searched around and found that a common solution was to edit the etc/hosts file but that wasn't the problem. Any ideas?
Anyone? Bumping this thread.

I'm running Android 4.4.4 on Oppo Find 5 and I have encountered a problem after I deleted my hosts file (don't ask why I did this, but I think this caused the problem). Play Store shows an error: Check your connection and try again.
Things I've tried so far:
1. Recreate the hosts file with only one entry: 127.0.0.1 localhost
2. Install a different play store version
3. Clear all the cache you can imagine
4. Clear data from Google Play Services, Google Play Store and Google Services Framework
5. Delete my Google account and create it from scratch
6. Tried the static IP trick with Google's DNS
Note that all my other Google apps are working fine, sync works too.
Any advice, besides the obvious Factory Reset...?

im running Android 4.2.2
i downloaded the latest google play service which the version is 7.5.71
my playstore version is 5.6.6
my google play games version is 3.0.11
i downloaded Clash of Clans by mobogenie and it's the recent version
yes it is rooted already
Device: xiaomi redmi 3 pro running MIUI 7.3 (Lollipop)
I can't open play store, I get "Authentication is required. You need to sign into your Google Account" error.
Also syncing gmail doesn't work, I get "Sync is currently experincing problems. It will be back shortly."
I don't care about sync, I just want to be able to use play store! It's a new phone and I could install some apps, but after rebooting phone play store gives authentication error.
I tried: deleting data on google apps, reboot, removing google acc and trying on another account, removing play store updates, installing the newest google play store version
Lastly I tried factory reset - THIS WORKED! I installed my apps again, but after I rebooted my phone, the play store stopped working again.
I don't know what to do anymore, it seems that rebooting my phone breaks play store forever. Please help

Hello, I apologize if this is not the right place to post this but I'm really desperate about this issue.
I restored a TWRP FULL backup and now I can't use any google-related apps. Whenever I try to open the play store and try signing in; the google play services keep stopping; I am currently unable to log in to my account and whenever I try to sign in to enter google play store The play services crash.
I tried uninstalling play store and play services updates, clearing caches, clearing their data and even installing play services apks to no avail
Any input is deeply appreciated. Thanks.
Bump,
I need help solving this issue, please
Hi,
I recently bought a tablet from china but i wasn't told that the google play store wasn't install. I tried to download them from their apps as well through some site but none of them works. The google play store just crash. So i've decided to root it but i couldn't find any roms/firmware which i can use to root the tablet. The tablet current version is 7.
Do i really need to root my tablet or there is a way i can get my google play store running?
I notice that there is some thread for tb-7304i or something, will i be able to use them? If not, where can i get details to root tb-7304n?
can anyone help me with this?

An Android device must NOT be rooted to install Google Play Store on it. Use Google Installer v3 to install Google Play Store. The Google Installer v3 comes as an APK which you can directly download and install on your device. Fortunately, this app doesn’t void warranty as it isn’t performing root or modifying the system files. Once the Google apps have been installed, you can uninstall this app.

So when the Google Services Framework keeps stopping then you know there is something wrong with one of the Google Apps you have installed on your phone. Either Google Services Framework, Google Play Services or Google PlayStore. Picking out the particular app responsible might be tasking so it might be best to just clear the data and cache of ALL three apps and also remove or log out of your Google Account and log back in and finally re-boot device.
