Hello,
I present to you very shortly and quickly the new MIUI ROM (multi-language) translated from the Official ROM for OnePlus One : ROM MIUI 4.9.5 (V5). This is the first translation of the first official release !
To download and try this address :
http://media.celogeek.com/roms/android/miui/4.9.12/xiaomi.eu_multi_A0001_4.9.12_v5-4.4.zip (languages available here : http://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/4-9-12.25694/)
Mirror [4.9.5] : https://mega.co.nz/#!qUtmUbAR!37QBGpwdOjkOma_3gY-rf0h6aOjWdSkeM4s_8grYp_w
Installation MIUI (or other ROM flashable with custom recovery) :
I remind you that neither I nor the forum we take responsibility for anything, everyone is aware of that is going to do.
Let's go :
1. Download the MIUI ROM and put it in your phone storage
2. Make sure your phone is properly detected by your PC
3. Boot phone in Bootloader Mode (Volume Up and Power) and flash a custom recovery like CWM Advanced Edition Philz Touch (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2201860)
4. Reboot in Recovery Mode (Volume Down and Power) and choose :
- Wipe and Format Options -> Clean to Install a New ROM (wipe datas, cache & dalvik-cache)
- or with other custom recovery : wipe data/factory reset -> wipe cache partition
5. After install the ROM, choose :
- Install Zip -> Choose zip from /sdcard -> select your ROM MIUI -> Reboot System Now
- or with other custom recovery : apply update -> choose from internal storage -> 0/ -> MIUI rom -> reboot system now
6. Enjoy MIUI v5 for OPO !
Notes:
If 4G is not enabled, use this procedure with the phone keypad *#*#4636#*#* then "phone information" -> "Set preferred network type" -> "TD-SCDMA, GSM/WCDMA and LTE" (or LTE/gsm auto)
Good flash

Thanks for this, was acctualy looking for this on the internet

Sorry, I have not found how to do... I'm not sure it is an integrated option in the ROM... maybe with a tweak.
some notes
1) it works perfectly with multirom
2) to install, in the updater script you must remove the first line (TWRP and european Oneplus)
3) WSM tools works with reboot option but Mi-Tools doesn't work for me...was anyone able to make them working?
Can we use custom kernels?
Sent from my A0001 using XDA Free mobile app
Lesson learned
I decided to try this rom so I figured I would do the safe thing and went into recovery and did a complete back up and then installed this rom. Didn't really like it so I thought I would go back and restore my previous rom guess what my custom recovery was gone and all my roms that were stored on my phone. Had to redo everything which took a very long time. So imo use multi rom and install along side of other rom so that you can go back and forth between them. That way you can decide which one you want to use as your daily rom.
i flashed it yesterday for a short time, cause of missing german language i decided to stick with cm11 nightlys
But as few said, the recovery was gone, i cant confirm this, my philz recovery was still there and i could restore my cm as normal!

Just a heads up if anyone wants to restore an NKD backup it will NOT run on the OA6 bootloader unless the OA6 kernel is flashed along with the restore (before rebooting). I'll add it my kernel repository soon and add a link on the OP to kernels & modems too.

Cant say for sure. I think it will run but not 100% certain there wont be any other strange issues. I know you can run NKD roms on the OA6 but just like the 4.4.4 bootloader, you have to also flash the (matching kernel) OA6 kernel or it wont run.
Oh, and you quoted the entire OP?
This might be handy for you guys OA6, no system, no kernel, no recovery
I made it to flash over my CM build to upgrade my Baseband, booloader etc. Feel free to link in OP if you want @tdunham
I have tested it, flashed it right over my CM install and didn't lose anything but gained the new modem etc.
Theoretically, you could flash this in Odin first then your ROM from recovery, and its alot faster than flashing the entire OA6 package.

I have had problems with newer TWRP builds, I can put one up if needed with the latest but I already uploaded one with an older build I pieced together 2.8.0.1(It seems to be the most reliable for backup and restore to sd card for me)

Let me know if you guys want more, its not hard to make but I will most likely wait until later tonight or tomorrow to make any other requested versions.

After few days of web browsing, I founded one really cool possibility, and that is idea of using
SAMSUNG GALAXY V CUSTOM ROM.
Thats true we can use them all, and all of them can be finded on :
http://www.galaxyvarchive.blogspot.com/
But after flashing via CWM, you will need to flash custom build prop of our phone.
If you are new in flashing custom roms continue reading, and also there will be special note how to flash build prop correctly !
INSTRUCTIONS :
1) Turn phone in CWM(Hold power, menu and volume up button together)
2) Wipe data, cash, dalvik-placed in advanced options
3) Chose zip from sd card, and search rom you are download (Zentouch V2, and Nemoid recommanded)
4)wait till install complete
******* THEN YOU WILL NEED TO INSTALL BUILD PROP ! *********
1) after installation of rom dont turn of recovery
2) again wipe dalvik
3)choose build prop and wait till complete
4)Reboot your device and enjoy !
NOTE: ZENTOUCH, AND NEMOID DONT CONTAIN ANY ERRORS (JUST IF YOU FLASH TEIR UPDATES YOU NEED TO FLASH CLEAN ROM, DONT UPDATES OF THIS ROMS), AND DONT EXTRACT ZIP FILE OF ROM OR BUILD PROP IT NEED TO BE LIKE THAT !
AND THIS WORKS FOR ALL OF OUR SM-G130 VERSIONS!
CWM IF YOU DONT HAVE IT
So first what you will need is ODIN 3.09 To instal cwm recovery
1) Start odin(note: phone must be unplugged)
2) Turn phone into download mode
3) Check ap box, and find cwm.tar file placed on your pc after download and than select it..
4) Flash it via odin
5) Reboot your phone
6) Turn it off again
7) Press volume +, home and power button and voila you got cwm
Please press tnx

I installed 3 different roms, followed the instructions and flashed buildprop. With all roms I get the same error: "unfortunately, the process com.android.systemui has stopped". The Galaxy V is 480x800 pixels, roms are no good, they don't display correctly. Some of the phone dialler numbers are not displaying because of the different resolution. We need a rom adapted to our phone.

I just got the touch screen of my SM-G130 repaired and my phone was "gone" for a few weeks. Had no chance yet to try these custom ROMs. I am going away now for summer holidays, but when I return halfway August I am gonna try the ROMs and will post my experiences. Bye bye.
Thnx for this post(searching for post of our young 2 for weeks). Gonna try these roms
But there is one problem Both deletes my IMEI number so, I cant use my SIM.
Zentouch V2 works perfectly in mi Young 2. I will write a post in HTCMania, in Spanish, on how install the ROM.

Yes, I used the buildpro this post. I can not post links. Enter HTCMania, see section Samsung, look at other Samsung smartphones and find the post with the following name: Instalar Custom ROM en Galaxy Young 2 That's my post. Luck.
Found it, thanks:

Hi there people,
Do you guys experience significant performance / speed increase with these custom roms, in comparison with the stock rom?
Thanks!
I'm sharing with you another build.prop for those who have got a SM-G130HN device and wanna install ZenTouch ROM v2:
View attachment SM-G130HN_BUILDPROP.zip
It's a flashable ZIP, don't worry about that.

Thanks for answering but i still have a problem.
I have "EMPTY" phone. I have NO operating system in phone, when it turns on it is just stuck on boot screen logo.
Can i somehow insert .zip files (cm12.1, gapps...) into phone and then install them from recovery?
Is there some way that i can install any operating system through computer without phone?
Thanks for replies. It would mean a lot if you help.

HI ,
I have a serious issue with my sm-j7008 ( china mobile ) I cannot add a google account . Tried installing google play via APK but no such luck . I rooted the device and nothing happens . There is no alternative firmware for this mobile phone .
You'll need the Google core apps and framework as well. Try to flash gapps to your phone. You probably have to use vpn also, to be able to use play etc

How do you do that ? Can you please provide me the links .
installed TWP Odin says successful . However when I press volume up button it still showing the old recovery software .
You have custom recovery like twrp?
Download gapps for your platform and Android version from http://opengapps.org
Go to recovery and make a backup of your rom just in case something goes wrong. Flash gapps in recovery.

Oh ok. Untick auto reboot in odin and reboot to recovery manually after flash, without booting to system first.

I'm not sure since I don't own this device myself.
If it has removable battery you should be able to just press power untill it shuts down, then immediately push volume up and home simultaniously while still keeping power pressed.
If it's non removable battery you'll have to press volume down and power to force it to reboot, then immediately push volume up and home simultaniously while still keeping power pressed.
Isn't there any instructions for installation where you found the twrp recovery?
Can you give me a link?
Have you enabled developer options and turned on OEM unlock to start with?
otherwise you'll soft brick your phone and will be forced to reflash stock rom with odin.

Download google installer 2.0 install the apps then make them system apps.
Hello China has blocked gapps in it's frimware's thus you will need to get twrp to get gapps for your device
Untick the auto reboot option
flash the twrp
once done take out battery and reboot to twrp then flash the correct gapps zip file
