[Q] Linux distribution for netbook GoClever i102 (Airis Kira N10020) - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello everyone,
I have netbook goclever i102 with iMAPx210 (ARM1136JFS) and I wonder if it is possible to install some kind of linux distribution (I thought about ubuntu 14.04)? I read a bunch of posts but I did not find exact answer.
So far I build cross-compiler but I have no idea where I can find a source code. Even If i had source code and I would build a kernel, how to install its on netbook? I read that this netbook doesn't have a recovery and uboot. I also have a root access with adb, can it be helpful for me?
I think that this netbook could work a littlebit faster with linux.
Thank you in advance!

[Q] Root LG C800g via Linux Debian

OK I have read for hours through this forum and my friend Google, tried to request help in the developer forum but of course that is not an option. Could someone please help me figure out how to root the Root LG C800g via linux debian or just Linux for that matter. Thanks in advance. Sometimes it sucks to hate Windows, but they know that
Well after several days learning (reading) adb/fastboot on a linux machine I am up and running with CWM 6.0.1.3 and cwm-6.0.1.2-lgc800-chui101.img. Our saviour Android helps those that help themselves.......I guess:laugh:

[Q] Android on Ipaq h5550

[Q] (Q) Step-By-Step guide to root AT300 - Toshiba - Regza

Hi All,
I've looked over this board quite a few times and even reviewed a few post regarding rooting a Toshiba Regza AT300 with 4.0 Ice Cream.
With that being said I haven't found a solid working guide or solution for it. Is it even possible? I've already reviewed the hexamob page as well as a few pages on here.
Do I need to access the bootloader do accomplish this? If so, how do I do that?
Does the AT300 go by another name that might lead me down the correct path?
I'm willing to root it using Windows 7 or Ubuntu if needed.
Thanks,
Marc
Anyone have any ideas?

[Q] Ubuntu no VNC and XServer

Hey folks,
i was searching the net for a possible solution to get native Linux running on our i9300 and found this:
So would it be possible to do the same for our device? Does some tried something similar?
Also i found this thread to install Archlinux and user crondog wrote a kernel and touchdriver for our i9300.

[Q] How to root Intel Atom devices with KitKat

Hello, does anyone know how to root an Intel Atom based android device running 4.4.2 kitkat?
Possible Intel Atom root solution
I recently got an iView i700 tablet, and while it is a very nice machine, rooting seems to be beyond the capabilities of a "Weekend Warrior" Androidophile like myself. After much searching and weeping, weeping and searching I found this: (((())))))forum.android.com.pl/f686/kiano-intelect-root-463134/((((()))))))
And it would seem to hold some answers. I do not trust my knowledge with the translation. It is my hope that someone with a bit more skill can look at this and simplify it for the rest of us plebes.
