Hello,
I discover that default Interactive governor parametrs on stock or custom kernels are not good enough system is sluggish and lags on some deamanding apps, even touch boost is not helping in my case. I found this tutorial http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-5x/general/guide-advanced-interactive-governor-t3269557 that tutorial is for nexus 5x. We can achieve lag free smooth performance without touch boosts only gov parameters. Could someone using this tutorial make optimal parameteres for our device? I'm not advanced enough to do by myself. Please share your governor settings for smooth system performance. Thanks

Its been almost a week on Blaze Kernel and i have never faced any lag or such with the recommended settings on that thread.
and in those settings interactive is the governor if i am not wrong so i don't think so interactive is bad , maybe the kernel or ROM you are using have some issues.
If you think i helped you hit thanks button:good:
I think it was underclocked gpu.. I was change min value to 266mhz and change driver to simple ondemand and it's better now..

No matter what AOSP rom I try, the interactive CPU Governor seems to be bugged, resulting in stuttering when sliding through homescreens, and overall stuttering/lag in animations.
I was able to cure my lag on all AOSP by changing my CPU Governor from interactive to Performance.
I'm just wondering why it's bugged?
Also, which CPU Governor do you use?
May or may not help but pull up settings - >battery - >battery mode and then select performance helped me during some games haven't seen this option but I usually run stock Roms.

As asked in the title above.
If it is then which apps will work. I need the fingerprint sensor and great battery life so I can not go with a CM based rom but would like to try some changes to improve the performance in stock. I see the governor in use is marked interactive but have not gotten to much more details about the cpu perimeters used.
I swear by Kernel Adiutor, and actually used it on my rooted stock rom Honor 5X to do exactly this and set the governor to batterysaver. Great results, though being a stock kernel, there's obviously a lack of options/governors.
Try this (screenshots) turn off use sched load on both Cpus and migration notif also.
Build.prop add this:
wifi.supplicant_scan_interval=300
power.saving.mode=1
ro.vold.umsdirtyratio=20
ro.media.enc.jpeg.quality=100
cpu.fps=auto
gpu.fps=auto
ro.fps_enable=1
ro.fps.capsmin=30fps
ro.fps.capsmax=60fps
boot.fps=25
U can play around with the hotplug driver to manage cores at sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/core_ctl
Thats what ive gotten so far
Thanks. I started some adjustments with kernel adiutor and it has gotten a little better. I will try the build.prop tweaks.
It would be nice to find out the cause of lag in stock.
Well with the fps/build.prop tweaks my Phone seems lagg free. Lets see if you can make a difference!
Is it me or is the build prop in this phone unusually large! ?

It is just add that line what ive posted somewhere
What Is This??
If you got a good phone, it should have good specs. However, sometimes we do not get the performance we expect from our devices and in most cases it is due to faulty configuration of how hardware resources are used or the way the user uses a device.
We all expect good performance and battery life from the smartphone or tablets device we use. And if you think you are not getting that with the default settings of your device, there are ways to make it perform better in terms of speed, faster response, reduced lag and better battery efficiency. Thanks to the brilliant developer community we have as Android users that there are always some or other solutions to fix such things.
If you experience lag on your phone and think it’s not performing decently, you should give a try to the YoPro-Script mod by ShivaY. The mod targets various issues that usually concern users. It fixes low RAM issue, improves battery performance, reduces lag, adjusts CPU and GPU frequencies to the optimum, and so on. Below is a detailed list of things the script works its magic on:
Prevent Leaked RAM/system memory
Makes performance smoother
Lag fix
Better battery life
Balanced mod (gaming & multitask)
Net optimizer (responsive surfing)
Seeder (increases Entropy to reduce lag)
GPU Rendering (HW 3D force enable)
I/O Database Optimizer (SIO/Deadline : auto set. if there sio, sio will enable..if no, deadline will enable)
Storage Speed/Write Optimizer
CPU Governor Optimizer (Smartass/Hotplug/On-demand: auto set, if there Smartass, martass will enable.. if no, hotplug or on-demand will enable)
Touch responsive
Zipalign at boot (reduce footprint & optimized RAM usage)
Sound noise fixer
More…
Download YoPro-Script
YoPro-Script_v2.6_GB_JB_ICS_KK.Zip
Requirements
YoPro-Script mod has been tested and found working on a range of Android devices including the Nexus 5, Xperia Play, Huawei Honor, Galaxy Note 3 (with CM11), Galaxy Star, etc. The mod works on all Android devices running Gingerbread, Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean and KitKat. Needless to say, you must have root access and a custom recovery (CWM/TWRP) to flash it. You also need to install the latest BusyBox. And yes, make sure you are not using any other custom scripts already. Another thing, we highly recommend you try it on a custom ROMs with init.d support.
How to Install
Download the mod file in zip from above and copy it to your phone.
Reboot your phone in recovery mode.
Make a nandroid backup first.
Then install the .Zip file and reboot device.
Thanks

Good, waiting for review. Hehhe
Unfortunately, u dont support for Nougat as we majority use this ROM.

heheh i started working with GB,JB,ICE,KK Because many people are using this version of Android , we can not left them behind.and not let them feel sad:angel:
ryt now i am working on LP, MM And Android N and in few days i ll come up for Uper Version of Android.
Thank You for replying :angel::good:

Yo man, glad to hear that.

I am Using honor 8 frd L02 emui 5.0.1....
And device is Rooted ...
I want the maximum possible frequency while gaming...and maximum allowed is 2.3ghz ... Kernel auditor works fine in setting up maximum performance at 2.3ghz(on demand as well as performance)... But after few minutes frequency sets to 1.8ghz or 1.5ghz... It maybe due to emui... But I don't want to switch to custom ROM as there are problems like camera or calling....
So what is the solution to overclocking the CPU....
I am thinking about using open kernel tweaks like AKT(advance kernel tweaks), or LKT(legendary kernel tweaks)... Will it solve my problem... Or is there any other solution ???
So I've been hearing Schedutil is the most balanced governor for Android phones cause it can handle battery and performance well.I searched it on internet and found some article about it that my brain can't understand.
Why is it better and how it works? Can anybody explain it to me or provide me some link where I can read about it?
Thank You
It's a CPU governor. Look inside here. This governor requires Linux kernel 4.7+.
I got problem with schedutil on oneplus 9, its the default governor and get low fps while gaming. Maybe is a bug with "games" app what should change to a better governor while gaming... it also have a "performance" option
This governor is quiet ****. Its like ondemand ramping up to max clock when not needed.
