Edit: Unfortunately I no longer own this device, so I'm discontinuing the project.
Hi,
I decided to build a ROM from A6020l36 Stock Firmware to be installable via recovery. Soon, I realized there were many uninteresting things (for me) in the original firmware, then I did a cleaning it.
In short, the same ROM, but little lighter...
Features:
- Debloated - Change List;
- Rooted;
- Notification bar translucent (40%);
- Recent applications screen without the two giants rough top buttons;
- Small changes in build.prop;
- M Launcher Marshmallow 6.0;
- Google Deskclock;
- File Explorer & File Explorer (Root Add-On).
*** If you can, use cpufreq as standard GPU governor, greatly improves system performance! ***
Note: I tested only on my A6020l36, then do not know what the behavior in other variants.
Requirements:
Recovery TWRP 3.0.2.0 for Lenovo Vibe K5
How to install:
1) Copy the ROM zip on your phone;
2) Reboot in TWRP Recovery mode;
3) Backup your phone;
4) Format/Wipe system, cache, dalvik, data
5) Flash/Install ROM
6) Reboot

Could u repack the same u did for lenovo vibe k5 plus A6020a46_S048_160701_ROW variant....cause wat u have done is for lenovo lemon 3 although it is the same...we wont get ota updates for A6020l36

i have used ur zip file thanks a lot its working fine in my lenovo vibe k5 plus A6020a46 ....and for the first time my quadrant is 22000, antutu 6 is 36000 and nenamark2 is 59.7
it seems the update for lenovo vibe k5 plus A6020a46 has reduced the max core frequency of big cpu to 11130....hence my quadrant was 18000, antutu 6 was 29000 and nenamark2 was 55
Do u have any idea how to change carrier configure to india ?
and i have to freeze mobile broadcasts to avoid regular pop ups

Really that update s048 has underclocked cpu frequency to 1113 mhz max not 1500 mhz...so its not a good rom file...ur phone model A6020l36 has the update to s032...now that is a good rom file....i tried it using qpst flashing but the only problem was no signal service for both my sims although my sims were detected with their carriers......could u look into that....imei was detected but no signal weird.....apart from that that rom was very smooth and max frequency was 1500 mhz...i have provided the link for a6020l36 s032 above...Try that one :good:

Check it in build.prop file from your phone (system/system/build.prop), the line "ro.carrier" in my case is this: ro.carrier=retbr.
Try to change this line to a value that is appropriate for your country. Maybe this will help solve the connectivity problem.
Within the "system/etc", there are several folders with different names of countries and mobile telephone operators. My guess is that during boot, one of these folders is loaded, according to what is stated in the build.prop.
But this is a big MAYBE!

Beautiful ROM, but data don't work after flash in a A6020I37
Nice work!. The ROM is beautiful and fast.
The only problem is data. This appears disabled and I can't choose any option to enable.
I search into build.prop for change something, but nothing happen.

Change governor
How can I change the Governor to cpufreq? Can I do it manually? Which file do I have to edit?

Using the TWRP version 3.0.2-r3 I've copied the rom file to the device, but after formatting system, date, dalvik and cache I no longer found the file. I was unable to retransfer the file via MTP or ADB sideload. So, ignoring the warning, I restarted the device thinking this could fix it, but it got worse. I can not enter in TWRP anymore nor on the system and I can not connect via ADB, which says the device is not authorized. Is my k5 bricked? Can this be reversed?
