I'm having issues with my watch (its a Moto 360 Women's 2nd Gen), the issue is that whenever I open the Reminder app on it, it keeps saying I need to sign in on the Google app, but I am already signed in. Here's what I did so far
- Cleared cache off of the app
- Reset watch 4 times
- Reset phone
- Contacted Motorala, who suggests I send it to them
- Signed out and signed back in my Google account
- Deleted watch data
I'm lost with this.. Anyone know how to do?

Hey,
I have a Huawei Honor 2 [U9508B 2GB RAM model] running EMUI B628.
I seem to be getting very strange syncing errors since my update. ALL google apps except for Play Store do not want to sync with Google, except on some very strange and rare occasions. I need to be able to access Gmail on my smartphone. It's one of my most important apps, but Gmail cannot sync properly, often staying at the Waiting for Sync screen for weeks on end.
I have tried reflashing my phone, but that was only a temporary remedy. The problem continued a mere 2 days after reflash.
Because I cleared the Google Framework Services data, YouTube is no longer connected to my account, so when I tap sign in, "There is a problem with your network" pops up a mere millisecond later.
Stuff I have tried:
1. Disable and re-enable auto sync a million times
2. Tap sync now a billion times
3. Remove account and re-add it. (I have only tried this once, but when I did, I couldn't sign in. it just said "couldn't sign in - couldn't establish a reliable connection to the server")
4. Clear the data of anything google
5. Clear cache and dalvik-cache in recovery
Is there anything else I could try? I've had this phone for just two months. I'd hate to go out and buy another phone.
Thanks!
hi all,
I have a very strange problem with my S4 mini, and I'm out of ideas after hours of google, xda and troubleshooting. First of all, I'm travelling, therefore a factory reset is not an option at the moment.
I'm on the latest nightly of CM12.1 with gapps installed.
Everything was working fine until yesterday. Here's what happened:
I always used the CM12.1 stock email app. So my girlfriend wanted to check her gmail, therefore (to keep my mail app clean) I installed the official gmail app. After installation I signed in with her gmail address and password. After that the gmail app crashed. I then noticed that my contact list on the phone all of a sudden included her google contacts as well (she had an android device with a google account some time ago, so her former contacts are still synced with her account).
I removed the gmail app again, and now it seems my google account on the phone is broken. I can't use any google services anymore:
- PlayStore just opens a white screen for half a second, then closes without error
- Maps, Fit, Youtube, etc. all say I have to install google playstore to function, but playstore is installed already ("this app won't run without google play services, which are missing from your phone")
- When I go to Settings>Accounts there is no google account and no option to add a google account
What I tried:
- I cleared app data/cache for googleservicesframework and playstore
- I did dalvic/cache wipe
- I re-installed the gmail app which caused all the trouble, but can't sign in with google account anymore in the app (neither with mine nor hers)
- I updated to a newer nightly
- I flashed gapps again
- I used a gapps removal script from xda
I'm completely lost. nothing seems to work.
Thank you in advance for your help

I just got my moto 360 (46mm) today and I try to launch hangouts and it is stuck loading. I've factory reset the watch a few times. Uninstalled hangouts from my phone, then re-synced apps to remove it from the watch and reinstalled on my phone and resynced again. Nothing seems to work. Anyone else having this issue?
I did but it went away when I re-paired it to my phone and when I did pair it I just left it sit for about an hour til it got calmed down and it worked
Okay well I let it sit for a few hours and still didn't work. I'm going to forget the watch and uninstall Android wear and factory reset the device and set it up again and leave it overnight to see if that fixes it.
I'm also getting a weird message saying Google play services isn't installed on my phone but when I check my phone it says I have 8.1.18 (2272748-438). I'm running nexus 5 marshmallow preview. On my 360(2015) it says Google Play Services 8.1.20 (2283517-534) which seems like a newer build than available for the phone. Anyone have insight on that?

I got the same message saying google play services not installed during the setup of my 46mm moto 360 2. After that I have not seen that message any more and my watch seems to work OK. Me too curious to know why we are getting this message.
I also got the message saying play services wasn't installed. Of course it was. After the initial setup, I didn't see this error message again.

Does your hangouts load alright? Can you view conversations?
Well I figured it out so I'll post the fix here in case anyone has the same problem. I figured out that it was the hangouts dialer causing the issue. I uninstalled hangouts and hangouts dialer from my phone. Resynced the apps then rebooted my watch to make sure hangouts wasn't cached then only installed hangouts and not the dialer resynced the apps. When it appeared on my watch I opened it up and voila it signed me in. Downloaded hangouts dialer after that and haven't had any issues yet.
About the google play services thing I've noticed it does that anytime the watch and phone are transferring a relatively large amount of data over bluetooth such as apps

Unfortunately, it did not. Fix for this was to uninstall the update to hangouts and reapplied it. Then I was able to access hangouts messages from my watch. In my case a complete uninstall of hangouts was not necessary.

Guys, when I login with my main G Acc I dont get any apps & updates in Play Store->My Apps; I login with my secondary G Acc and they appear instantly. I am almost sure that /data reset will fix the problem but I dont want to waste my time to again import backed up contacts, call & message logs, app data & so on. I tried clearing Apps->All->Google, Google Play Store & Google Play services data but still the same. Any ideas? Xperia Z3
You can remove the account from within the Settings without resetting the phone. I would then reboot and re-add and see if that doesn't help.

I did this a hundred times..the problem is that in my older account system apps were added to the account (https://play.google.com/apps) but on the new account they are not. I have to manually browse for system apps like hangouts, google, google play games, GP music, etc.. and then I see the Update button
Greetings all,
I have recently decided to buy and see what $70 bucks of a phone looks and works like. I got myself a Doogee Shoot 2 with 2GB+16GB ROM. Android 7.0 OS. Phone arrived yesterday and this is what I came across. As soon as I log in with my google account and contacts are synced the following issue appears: when I want to dial in on the keypad a random number outside my contacts as soon as I hit the 3rd number the phone app crashes and throws me out. Saying something like : Phone app has crashed too many times, closing app. If I do not sign in with my account, the app works perfectly fine. The only way I can call a number outside my contact list is to add it to the contact list first and then dial the number. Things I have tried: flushing cache data, app data of both Phone app and SIM app. Flushing phone cache. Stop automatic updates on Google Play. None of these helped. Factory reset fixes the issue, as long as I do not sign with my account. I haven't tried to sign in with "empty" or recently created google account, so I cannot say if this will, but again not good for me either. Do you think this can be fixed ? I think I will stick to big brands from now on.
On my Shoot 2 It doesnt happen...
Do u know how to root this phone?
