Connection Problems with provider

Well the last few days a noticed a very strange problemw with my phone.I ahve a contract with vodafone. For a week i put my sim card in my phone and everything worked fine. But know there is a crazy, strange thing happening. The phone show signal 2-3 bars in my house, shows the name of the provider but i cannot doreceive calls neither messages! When i leave the house and go somewhere else everything works fine.Well at first i thought it was a sim card problem so i changed device in order to check the sim, but the sim works great with my previous phone (htc diamond). Then i inserted another sim card from a different provider and it works fine even in mt house. That's crazyyyyy!!!
Has anyone xperienced same problems?
I am thinking to call lg service tommorw morning!

No incoming calls

My ATT HOX+ is not receiving incoming calls.
I am not sure when it started.
I rooted with Hasson's tool several days ago and I have no other problem that I know of. Not sure if rooting is responsible or not.
I can receive calls from my GF's ATT iPhone, but I get no image of her for some reason.
I do not get calls from my ATT landline (not U-verse VOIP).
I do not get calls from my mothers landline, she does have VOIP from something other than ATT.
Data, wifi, sms, mms, all seem to be fine,
Any advice is greatly welcome

You could run the RUU and see if that clears up the issue. If not, then you know it is a phone or network issue.
Tried everything that seemed safe to try.
Called ATT, the nice person took me off network and back on again while I had the sim card out.
Fixed the problem with my landline not being able to call, but not my mother not being able to call.
The tech is sending my to get a new sim card on the off-chance it is the culprit, but believes that it is a network problem.
I will check back with an update later incase anyone else has a similar problem.

I'm having the same problem as are others. Found this fix which might help.
http://www.andromods.com/fix-troubleshoot/fixing-htc-one-x-plus-cant-receive-calls-voicemail-problem.html
I'm experiencing this problem as well. It doesn't matter who tries to call me from what, but calls only make it through about 5% of the time, which is completely unacceptable. The calls that don't make it through won't go to voicemail. Half the time it rings endlessly, the other half it will give some message saying the call cant be completed.
When I first got the phone, I didn't switch my data plan to an LTE plan right away (Best Buy didn't require me to do so, and AT&T insisted that I had to switch to their $30/mo plan so I kept my $25/mo plan for the first few weeks). During the time I did not have an LTE data plan I experienced no issues with the phone. A few weeks back I noticed that AT&T was now giving me an option for a $25/mo LTE plan, so I switched to that. That exact day is when I started not being able to receive phone calls.
Other things I've noticed since switching to the LTE data plan:
When I make calls, I often have to try 2-3 times before I can get the call to go through. Sometimes as soon as I try to make the call, the phone beeps at me. Sometimes it will hang for a good 10 seconds before it starts to ring.
Occasionally my phone will stop recognizing the SIM card, requires reboot.
Occasionally I'll lose my data connection, requires reboot.
Text messages some times take over an hour to send/receive, sometimes this is solved by a reboot, other times not.
I went to an AT&T store, they tried switching out my SIM card, but did not help me any further because I bought the phone at Best Buy. (I wanted to argue with the rep, because I had bought my Atrix from Amazon, and the same AT&T store helped me with the problems I had with that phone). The rep fed me some garbage saying that some phone numbers just don't work with HTC phones. Fed up, I left the store.

Trouble making/receiving calls and texts.

Been having issues since last night. Samsung Galaxy S3 Three UK Network.
Since about 5pm last night i have been unable to make/receive calls and texts. When i go to dial a number it says dialling on the screen and doesn't do anything. Signal is full. If i try it perhaps four or five times it will eventually dial out but after talking for a few minutes the voice goes like a robot and is as if someone is talking under water. Cant make anything out. Same when someone calls me. Goes to answerphone and after about 5 attempts at calling me my phone will ring.
Texts are coming up fail every now and then and my 3G signal keeps alternating between H+,H and 3g and only works every few minutes.
Have called Three but its torture. They say no problem at their end and have escalated my issue which can take up to THREE days for someone to respond.
As phone is an S3 and as its a micro sim i cant try the sim in another phone as my other phones are normal sized sims. Did try putting it in anyway but the phone wouldnt detect it. Have also tried a factory reset with no joy.
So frustrating as it seems to be intermittent.
Any ideas :good:
Is this since after the jb update? You may wish to try flashing the same firmware using odin and see that sorts it out. 3G signal on Three basically means nothing is working anyway.. lousy network

Weird problem with SIM card?

Hey everyone,
I'm giving away my LG G5 to a family member as her other phone broke. My G5 had a custom rom and had been modified alot but i took it back to complete stock now, everything works fine but the sim card. When inserting my family member sim card it comes up as sim card has been removed which is really weird yet it will show that it has reception on the phone and shows me 4 Bars but cannot make ANY CALLS or TEXTS because the phone thinks that there is no sim card there. Now here is the super weird bit, when I insert my Sim card in the phone it works just fine without a problem I can send texts, calls and go on the internet, I tested this for an hour max to see if it was going to happen with my sim but it never happened no error message? This is a really weird problem with my G5 I never had come across any problems like this before why is it happening now?
I need to get to the bottom of this problem. Does anyone had or have similar problems like this?
Thanks :good:
??
HI. Maybe the SIM contacts in G5 got loose, have you tried putting another SIM to check?

LG v30 ER081 Unable to connect and emergency calls only error. Please help thanks

Hi , I am having trouble with my LG V30. I have the phone for about 9 months. It works fine but yesterday the phone stop working. I keep getting the ER081 Unable to connect in the wifi calling and emergency calls only in the phone calling. I have tested the phone with my wife sim card, it has the same error. My sim card work just fine in my wife phone. I also reset to factory setting 2 times. still got the same error. It looks like the phone is not reading the sim card so it can not connect to T-Mobile network. The phone works fine when connect to wifi. But in wifi mode still not able to make any phone call. Any expert has any ideas what is wrong with my phone ? Thank you for your help.
Have you called T-Mobile? Just a guess, but somehow your IMEI may have been blacklisted so that your phone can't register with T-Mobile's network.
Alternatively, it could be a hardware issue -- like the contacts not making a good connection to the SIM.
