hello from Venezuela .
I was about to give up on remix but from version 3.0.104 me a formaunica works with some flaws that I hope they can fix and release once the stable version .
my laptop has these features:
TOSHIBA NB250-108
Intel® Atom™ processor N455
Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 3150
remix os version 3.0.103
open gl driver version, gl vendor intel open source technology center
RENDERE: pineview m
GL VERSION: OPEN GL 2.0
2gb ram
256 video
all my work well , most of the games open although many of them with long lag in phoenix will open without lag the problem with wifi disappeared , the problem with the play store went well and that is appreciated.
phoenix still works fast but is more fluid.
fails a list of errors to solve missing :
* when the computer is suspended and resumed work no more, it freezes completely and does not react.
* better fluidity, as you may phoenix you just go by the version 1.0.9 and is more fluid and less problems
* android remix is customizable but no, I can not install launcher
* Jetpack Joyride also runs slow and phoenix will run normally
I hope I take into account.
*applications should run in the background when you close not stay open or if but for a short time.
*the keymapping not fit as it should no longer allows only bigger put smaller.
things to add:
Luanchers

Greetings from Venezuela, this issue is to stop a list of problems presented by the system and thus a moderator jide see and can take this into account and make their corrections to the system, yes, you always have to thank the effort.
The list must be well organized and problem description specifying pc or laptop model, ram, processor and video card plus the remix version installed and of course Open GL version.

i will give it a try
but what about games
remix team really need to work on support of devices
specially AMD devices
Hello,
I've recently installed Remix OS Player on my PC but it hasn't met that image on my mind, it was very laggy and had a long mouse delay.
My PC specs are,
CPU: i3-4130
RAM: 8GB 1600Mhz
GPU: AMD Radeon r9 270x
SSD: Intel 60GB
HDD: WD Green 2TB
I didn't want to start downloading games as I was afraid they would be also laggy so I thought that installing Remix OS itself as an OS would be much better (2 cores instead of 1, 8GB RAM instead of 3, etc.)
Would it be smooth? Should I install it on the HDD or remove my windows from SSD and install it there? I'm not looking to replace my windows just it's location.
I'm sorry if this is kind of spamming the forum I thought I'd get help directly from users.
@Iamhady Remix OS Player is an emulator which implies far lower performance when compared to system ran natively on the machine.
Remix OS for PC is a full OS and it will definitely run faster than Player. On your specific device it should run very fast regardless of whether u install it on HDD or SSD.
Of course SSD will provide even better performance, but that's just up to you.
Have in mind that Remix will most likely utilize your integrated graphics card instead of the dedicated Radeon.
You can always install Remix to a USB stick and boot from it as a test.
Once you boot Remix on your device, go to settings, about tablet and scroll down to find OPENGL renderer. If it's Intel mesa/i915 than OK, if it's radeon - even better. If it's Intel, you can test if Remix can use the dedicated graphics card by adding EXTMOD=radeon to kernel line in grub menuentry (u can find how to do that on that forum or in Google).
Good luck

@Vioner thank you for the info! Glad to know so before downloading Remix OS.
I'll try installing it on a USB stick first and see how that goes.
As for the graphics I wouldn't mind if it uses the integrated graphics as long as it can run any Android game with a playable frame rate. But I really hope it can use the GPU for games like Mortal Kombat X and other GPU intensive games.
I've started downloading it!

You have luckily downloaded it in the last version day
Farewell, Remix OS. (Focusing on enterprise, huh.)
Hi there
I play a lot of emulators on my phone e.g. Dolphin, PPSSPP, Damon PS2 and would like to know what the best ROM and/or Kernel combination is for this? Each major version of Android and MIUI has different GPU drivers and that seems to make the most difference. I've tried custom kernels, all made essentially no difference with the exception of Extreme Kernel V4 due its overclocking potential which gives 2-3 fps boost.
I've done some testing myself primarily testing Mario Kart Wii 2 player on Dolphin emulator and Killzone Liberation on PPSSPP as both are very demanding and have found 3 main Open GL and Vulkan driver versions which each perform differently:
MIUI 10 - Android 9 e.g. 10.1.2.0 - Open GL = V324, Vulkan = 1.1.66 - Worst performance on both games and Vulkan broken on Dolphin
MIUI 10 - Android 8.1 e.g. 8..9.4 - Open GL = V300, Vulkan = 1.0.66 - Vulkan works but has regular slow down in Mario Kart Wii, Open GL performance better than V324 (28 vs 21 fps in Killzone on PPSSPP)
MUI 9 - Android 8.1 e.g. 9.6.25.0 - Open GL = V283, Vulkan - 1.0.61 - Vulkan works well, minor occasional slowdown in Mario Kart Wii, Open GL performance similiar to the above but a little worst (25 fps vs 28 on Killzone on PPSSPP)
Interestingly, a Youtuber claims the latest Android 9 drivers give the best performance in Damon PS2 but I've not checked this
I've previously found a version that gave me better performance on Open GL Mario Kart Wii, whereas the above all give around 42 fps, it was giving 50 -60 but I can't find that performance again - so I believe there may be another, better version out there. Custom rom PixelExperience was worst of all for Open GL, I didn't check driver versions but I only got 25 fps compared to the 42 fps above.
On a related note, does anyone know a way to change the drivers so that we could use the older, better performing drivers in Android 9?
Thanks in advance
Try miui 10.1.3.0 i didnt use emulators but best rom for gaming is miui roms try eu version also

I tried that one but this driver version has broken vulkan on Dolphin emulator and from my limited testing performance was inline or slightly worse than the others I tried.
I don't trust extreme kernel because it crashes alot if you are holding it near bedsheets or in your hand. Aka if not on a desk.
Idk the speed difference from Franco kernel and sphinx
I have huge problems since I upgraded from windows 10 to windows 11, specially with online games (Rocket League, Fifa 22, Forza Horizon 5, NBA 2K21m GTA V...)
When playing everything seems to be OK. But after a few minutes of playing Strange things happens (game freeze for a few seconds. Somethimes game freezee completly and usually after a few seconds also PC freeeze and I have to restart it, in FIfa 22 during gameplay commentary just go silent fot a few minutes... and I cant finnish first game, after I end game I cant save profile...)
On the other hand I have no problem with games like: Gods of War, Control, Age Of Empires V ... Al of them I play in single player mode (Age Of Empires V is pirated and working flawlessly)
I have windows 11 withouth TPM2 support
I cant revert to windows 10 (option is disabled)
My PC:
Motherboard: Asrock z68 pro3 p1.60
Processor: Intel I7
Graphic: gtx 1070
PLEASE HELP
What is the problem? Memmory leak? OS? Hardware? I had no issues on Windows 10

Although Windows 11 was released a while back, that's still early days in the life of any OS and so I've seen a range of problems being encountered by fellow users as they attempt to upgrade from Windows 10 [which is a no-no].
While some folks are experiencing ongoing issues since they upgraded, this tends to be rare or not, with most people encountering Windows 11 problems that are fairly 'quick' to sort out.
Windows 11 problems include the OS being incredibly slow or freezing, memory issues, the startup menu being unresponsive and PCs with modern AMD processors suffering from a noticeable dip in performance, especially when gaming [hint - hint].
-- You can choose to use the DISM (Deployment Image Servicing and Management).
Code:
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
-- and SFC (System File Checker) tool
Code:
sfc /scannow
Rest assure - the good news is that a clean install is always the easy way out without all of the 'fuss and muss' [which is what I did].

DirectX Issue is possible. I doubt it is a network issue but you can do a speedtest. Make sure you give the game administrator rights to save your games.
your to do list:
Run https://www.speedtest.net post results.
Right click on the program run as administrator.
hit windowskey+r type cmd.exe tell us what version it is showing.
Run compatibility mode on the game as well.
Some games require an xbox live account.
