Bricked S6 need working firmware - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So I accidently copied over or erased my backup while flashing and now I have a bricked phone. It hangs on the charging logo and doesn't do anything. I'm pretty sure I can't even get back into twrp but I can get into download mode.
At first my phone was working but the mobile network was erased and sim card didnt recognize my phone.
I'm looking to find stock firmware for the G920F.
I bought the phone on amazon and I have no clue what "region" it is.
I've found a few stock firmwares on sammobile but everytime I try to flash them in odin it crashes right away or hangs forever and eventually crashes odin.
Do I need to somehow remove twrp first? I'm new to this and feel pretty lost. Just trying to get my phone back to stock for now.

Anyone?? I have no clue what to do anymore.

[Q] Problem unlocking my phone a second time!

Help Please...I really need some now.
I had my phone unlocked and everything was fine. I have been updating the resurrection remix roms and enjoying them a lot. I was up to ver. 1.7. The problem is that I had some of the screen issues (fine horizontal lines on the screen) and I decided to get the phone repaired. I just got the phone back today and I noticed that Bell repair shop had wiped everything off my phone and put their stock version of ics on and the phone was no longer rooted. I have been trying to root the phone a few times now through Odin (like I did half a year ago) and at first it failed due to not being able to open the serial port. I opened Kies and the phone connected so I knew the drivers were ok. I tried Odin again and this time it went through and gave me a pass......but on reboot, it just hangs on the Samsung screen and I cannot turn the phone on at all now. I either am stuck on this screen or the CWM screen, but it won't carry out any command ie. power off, open zip from scard etc. I really need some help and quite worried about the phone now.
Please, please help
you allowed usb debugging?, go back to download mode and flash a kernel with root.
Go to download mode and flash a stock kernel. If you are unable to get into download mode because you said that your phone wont accept any commands for example pressing buttons then you could buy an USB jig. This will bring you directly to download mode. That would propably be your last chance.
Then flash a stock kernel back on there. Maybe the exact same which was on there before. Or just flash a stock full ICS Rom.

Yahoo!! I finally got the thing unstuck. I tried the Odin procedure again but this time I downloaded a more updated root kernel. It passed, then on bootup it wasn't stuck in space......although it still did not boot up properly. It ended up going just black...with no screen whatsoever. But the CMW program was working though and I was able to do a system restore from a month ago. I was very happy and very lucky I made that backup. Now, not only do I make the Titanium backup, but I also do a backup from the CMW program.....because now I know it's possible to freeze up before I ever get a chance to use Titanium. A good lesson indeed.

Help with unbricking my phone!

I was using my phone at work 3 days ago during lunch and it was running fine. I was playing a new Kairosoft game. Once my lunch was over I put the phone in my pocket and I went off to work. When my shift ended I pulled out my phone and it was stuck in a bootloop with the Cyanogen logo. I rebooted it and nothing worked. I went into CWM to re install the ROM and it freezes every time. I used oden to try and fix it to go back and unroot my phone to start fresh. I stepped out of my room to use the restroom and my little curious nephew comes in and grabs my phone in the middle of an update. Now when I turn the phone on it says firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again. I downloaded keys and it didn't recognize my phone. I can't even get into clockwork mod recovery anymore. On Odin it has the yellow bar and when I try and flash the files I need to go back to stock it fails when it writes the NAND. I really miss my phone. It has been a while since I have been here. I don't know if my phone is a ICS. I got it last year. I have searched everywhere and nothing seems to work. I'll keep searching because I am determined to get it fixed but I don't want to flash the wrong thing. My phone still goes to Download Mode. According to what I have read it means that it's still salvageable. I hope so. Thanks for the help!
If you can boot into download mode then just flash a rom from there? Problem solved

[Q] I9205 Recovery Flash?

I have an i9205 that I am trying to fix for somebody. The phone was acting weird so he rebooted it and did a battery pull. After doing so the phone would just sit on the samsung boot screen. I could boot into download mode, but if you went into recovery mode it just said installing update. It would get to 100% restart and then just sit on the samsung logo. Everytime you booted into recovery it would do this. I downloaded kies and tried to reflash the phone. during the flash an error popped up and said to retry in emergency mode. That also failed and phone said "sw rev check fail fused 1 binary 0" on the screen. I am thinking now the only option is probably to flash with odin, but was wondering if anyone else had any ideas. thank you
After flashing a lot of samsung phone, I think the best way to reflash is Odin. Try to download the firmware you want and flash it with Odin. And then, reboot. This always save my phones.
For your recovery, have you tried to update your phone with OTA ? The download may be incomplete and make a soft brick.
Sorry for bad english I'm french.
Thanks for the reply. ya thats what I am going to try. There are a ton firmwares based on country and I am trying to figure out which one I need. It is not my phone so I am not sure if he tried to do an ota, but I think thats probably what happened. Tried to do an ota, phone ran poorly, hard rebooted, and finally resulted in a softbrick. I think that may be why the recovery boot keeps saying installing update as well. Also your English was not bad at all.
Great, let me know if that solution solve your problem.
If it don't, it should not but it's possible, try with pit file (never had to use it so it's really in case it don't work correctly).

Samsung galaxy S3 Lined black-screen can enter download mode fine

Okay so i have a Samsung galaxy s3 GT-19300 Anyhow the phone was working fine perfect condition! Not a single problem But i fell asleep during a reformat for a friend and the phone got stuck on the boot-logo, I was originally able to put CW recovery but once in nothing i did would work, reformats would fail, cache wipes would fail The phone it's self had all the files on it still but non of which could be accessed by any format attempts It was also saying something about not being able to access an SD-card which i ended up trying with or without no luck, Anyhow after trying to tincker with it with odin to try and get some sort of life out of the phone something to write over the corrupted files. Nothing now the phone can boot into download mode, Without any screen-errors at all so i know my screen is perfectly fine. But if i try and boot it normally or with odin something really messed up happens i.imgur.com/lPaRreV.jpg Regardless to that happening the phone now when trying to do anything with odin will say No pit file But if you try and put a pit or do anything with any option on odin the program will say connecting to phone and not continue past that, and also when you try with Kies it will take a long time trying to connection the the phone then will say the phone timed out restart the phone to fix Nothing i do seems to fix this damn phone is it dead? Like i said earlier i can enter download-mode perfectly fine, no screen issues but still same results with odin and kies nothing works, can't put recovery mods on can't do anything
If odin can see it in download mode just flash a stock rom.
If its a btu here is the stuff you need: https://drive.google.com/folder/d/0B4vTiHTBB629ZW5vQndpbjFnblk/edit
If it wont flash the stock rom then its buggered.
I wish I stole my HTC M9.

A8 Bootloop

Hi, guys... Basically a little while ago a certain idiot attempted to root his phone, it all went wrong and said phone is now either dead or in the bootloop. I'm able to get it into download mode and thats all i can do! Ive tried reinstalling the stock firmware via odin however I haven't had any luck so far. It either straight up fails or gets stuck on NAND write start or setup connection. Can somebody please help because id really rather not have to go into a mobile repairs shop if i don't have to. Thanks to all

Hi! Were you able to resolve this issue? I have a similar problem. Thanks!
try to get your phone to out of battery, and use the charger to boot into the download mode, when charge it, press vol + - until you see the download mode, enter and flash firmware to get back to the original samsung UI
and if it stucks on NAND Erase try to find a new usb cable or try to find a newer firmware
the lastest firmware's bootloader have upgraded, if these solution wont work, i am afraid i cannot help you
