the specs of amaze and sensation are almost the same!
I mean with that much of similarity, guess its gonna be an easy job, right?
I'm not asking anyone to do it!
I just want some help or guide to do it myself

I would like to learn a little bit about the android OS and all its terminology. I've been rooting and playing w/ firmware for a while now and have no problem following instructions and what not, but I would also like to know why what is happening... is happening. Does that make sense? I hope so.
Perhaps you could point me in the direction of a good guide (pdf maybe ) or book. Maybe there are some good beginner threads here I just can't find.

Ok im not new to flashing roms- or sbfing- or any this im currently. On molton- 2.2 im really digging this rom I've been learning how to theme and am about to release one to see what people think but I've seen that nitro. Has came out with another update and would like to try it out but I've read. Were he has put out v2.02 out and I can't find it anywere. A little nudge. Would be appreciated. This fourm. Search sucks really bad and another thing I've been around these forms for awhile but I never post and if u don't have a certain amount of post u can't say anything in the dev. Form. I think that stupid. But o well any help would be appreciated

Awesome. I really appreciate. It guys. And ashclepdia appreciate all the work u have put in keeping us uptodate. On all of the hard work people r putting. In to get us cm7 and getting the bootloadrer unlocked I would hit the thanks button but I can't find the dang thing either or I just might be blind like I said I never post just read alot and figure out my problems for my self

It would probably better if you PM the developers who made those rom, they are pretty old..
those devs switched from the Hero a long time ago I bet they don't have the roms somewhere in the deepest corners of their hard drives anymore but maybe there is a chance, maybe.

It is kinda cool looking, but the current stock ICS lockscreen is just as functional - as far as I can tell this would just be for looks.. I mean you get music controls on the lockscreen with the cm music.apk..
I do want to share this little laugh for me, after doing some reading I eventually ended up at this post which uses lmgtfy.com to explain someone's noobyness.. if you don't know what that is you should click this http://lmgtfy.com/?q=how+to+use+diff+patch it is a nicer way of dealing with noobs I used to use it ALL the time..
I will say, if anyone wants this, it would have to be done for EACH rom - but anyone can do it, it isn't hard to learn how to decompile, and the instructions for the patch are pretty straight forward(hint, anyone can learn how to develop or at least contribute something, there are many things with low degrees of difficulty(like this!))
If anyone REALLY likes this, I challenge you to give it a shot to see if you can do it, and maybe give something back to the community!

Well, if you were willing to give it a try, you think you can do it, and you'd be willing to put out a product for the community- I'd be willing to give you pointers if you have issues I can help with, share resources that might help you out..
I'm assuming you have adb fully installed?(Android sdk installed?) Smali and baksmali-1.3.2?(those are for compiling/decompiling) Know how to sign an apk?
A lot of the above can be done thru dsixda's kitchen(easy to find in the development forums) - with the things above and a little reading/tinkering with the instructions in the original thread you posted(basically applying patch, then re-compiling or repacking), you could potentially have something working pretty easily getting it to the point where you can share it for others to use could be harder than doing it itself, but I can definitely help if you get that far. Just make a nandroid before you tinker! Lol.

Hi everyone.
Since I am rookie on this forum, and a total noob for upgrading android OS, I need a little bit of help of you guys, and I hope you will be kind and give some of your spare time. I have HTC Legend device with Android 2,2 version. I saw videos on Youtube where people show their devices working on Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS. I tried to do it my self, last few weeks I've been trying to do it, but every time I get lost at some point, and dont know what to do next. Like I said, I am a total noob for this things and I need your help. There are some good tutorials on internet so as on this forum, but there is many gaps in explaining some of steps and some people who dont know how to work with those sort of things (me for example) can get lost in the proces. So I would be thank full if some of you could make one extensive tutorial how to instal lets say this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1562595 OS on my device and post it. I know it's maybe too much to ask and I don't realy know how much work and time that requires, but for somebody who know that, who did that or similar work it shouldnt be much of a problem. I would be thank full. I am from Croatia, so I am sorry if I did some mistakes while writing this post. Thank you.
