Hi @SuperMan1986, sorry to hear that.
One thing you can try is to create an automatic rule for Do not disturb. Set it to begin at a previous time and end a couple of minutes into the future and see if this will take your phone out of this mode.
An automatic rule can be created in Settings > Sound & notification > Do not disturb > Automatic rules > Add rule.

Hi, does anybody know how to increase the vibration intensity for the call alert>outgoing call vibration under settings. It's very soft.
I tried vibralert on the market but it only worked for a couple of tries with increased intensity and went back to soft vibrate again. Tried to uninstall and reinstall now vibralert doesn't work. Just back to normal soft vibrate. I have tried unticking and ticking the outgoing call alert option when vibralert was installed but still soft vibrate.
Any idea?
Thanks in advance.
I'm on stock ke7 Rom.
Wrong forum.... read 1st sticky... if you don't create it don't belong here. This is development forum. Go in general or Q&A

Hi mate. Im the dev of the app. If you need help, you should use the "write to developer" item. But for now you can write at the apps thread here on xda - you will find it in my signature.
Searched around a bit and couldnt find anything.
What i am looking to do is remove silent mode from showing when the volume rockers are used, much like it was in gingerbread releases.
I would like vibrate to be the lowest the volume goes, with no option to keep pressing vol - until it gets to silent mode. Does anyone know of a way to accomplish this, or an edit/mod i can make to get this functionality?
Thanks!
Just realized i accidentaly posted this in General. Mods plz move to Q&A if that is the better section for this
and just to be clear, i am not looking for an app that protects my volume or anything like that. I am looking for a way to physically mod the operating system to remove the option for silent mode when using the volume rockers
Here you go
I had the same problem and this handy app "Vibrate mode by force" did the trick for me.
It only has 2 options but one of them is what you are looking for.
Edit:
Can someone who isn't an xda noob please post the link for people that find this thread in the future. Thanks.
Thanks, and link

Thanks, this is exactly what I was looking for. Works great. (I have HTC Evo 4G LTE, Sprint)
This is so simple, and so commonly requested, that custom ROMs (I'm lookin at you, CM) should build this right in.

You need to turn off vibrate in the ringtones+sounds section. When vibrate is on you get vibrate/ring options, when it's off you get silent/ring options.
I hope they will fix this. Dont know why it does not simply go through all the 3 options
Hi all,
Posting here due to low post count. Is it possible for someone to ask the Haxynox dev to add advanced reboot to their ROM? Or at least tell me where to find it in the settings?
Kind Regards
RJBPrime
On a related note, when I power off my S3, it does not keep any of the ringtones, message tones, or alarm selections. I have to go into each of them, and reselect my preferred file for it to be used until next power off. Is there a way this can be fixed?

Hi, my install of Haxynox works nicely in that respect. Ringtone selection stays after power off an power on. it seems to be a problem of your installation. I have few other major problems, and why i will replace it: no HSPA support, no SIM toolkit.
1 - In the car sometimes it adjusts the bluetooth volume to like half. When I try to turn it louder it gives me a message about playing at too high volume, blah blah.. I don't use a headset, so I would appreciate the message going away for good.
2 - I had a cigarette lighter adapter for the car, but I found out if it's in use, it blocks the radio and makes it static. So I started plugging my phone in to the car's USB port. After about 15 or 20 seconds it minimizes whatever I am doing and pops up a message about not being able to access data on the computer. Any way to disable that? Annoying because I have YouTube full screen playing then I have to hit a button to get that message to go away.
#1 I figured out. Settings -> Sounds and Vibration ->Volume -> Three Dots -> Media volume limiter -> Turn On -> Turn limiter all the way up
#2 still no clue.

Oh f*** in france i don't have the " three dots " on Volume because it's a limitation and a security
Here -> https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s9-plus/themes/app-volumewarning-reverseprotrait-t3778873
just tried the 3 dot customizing the limiter and it worked. Thank god...
Galaxy S9+ Verizon
#2 - try a different car charger. That solved this problem for me in the past.

For some reason it doesn't work on mine, I turned that feature on and then set the volume all the way up, but it still makes me confirm turning the volume up everytime I reboot. my phone is also originally a Verizon S9 plus but I'm on the T-Mobile version of Pie.

Thank you so much! (Update: That only works until the phone is restarted; once it's restarted, you'll have to do this again.)
Fortunately, after spending over an hour in the settings, I found a way to do it permanently:
Enable Developer Options
In Developer Options, search for Absolute Volume, then turn it off.
If you've never turned on Developer Options, you can do so easily by:
Go to the Settings page
Scroll down and select "About Phone"
Tap on "Software Information"
Locate "Build Number"
Tap on "Build Number" seven times in rapid succession, then enter your PIN

Thanks for this! I thought this was finally gonna be the solution but I'm STILL getting the high volume warning every time I reboot!! I'm on the latest U1 update, CSAA. So now I have the media volume limiter turned on with the volume all the way to the max, AND I have disabled absolute volume in developer options.

Same problem here.. no 3 dots showing. However found a solution:
1. download QuickShortcutMaker from play store.
2. Search for "media volume limiter" (it's under settings)
3. Click try.
