Hello,
I have simple question.
I am developing an application that can record video capture. The application is working successfully on a hardware device, but it is not on a virtual device.
the error: "can't connect camera"
I guess so, a video recording can not working on a virtual device. am i right?
Thank you.

You can use Ubuntu on this device using these directions.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1390351
and using this App. for the installation guide
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.zpwebsites.ubuntuinstall&feature=search_result
It is tested to work on both the 5.0 and 4.0.
I take none of the credit, I am just pointing out a cool "app."

Don't have time to try it out yet, but I do have a question about the driver support.
Since it is a full blown linux distro, does it come with usb audio driver, otg support and etc?

You do not install anything other than the one app. You run a few commands to start it. Then you open the app. to connect to the Ubuntu "server." it is actually running in the background like an app. would, but you can exit at any time. Read more on the link that I posted along in this thread.

I don't think that you can control your phone from your pc but you can definitely control your pc from your phone. I have tested it myself. Just get TeamView from Playstore.:good:

The best screen capture app I've come across is SCR Free on the play store, it requires root amdd does a fantastic job. I used it to film me playing some games for a pal of mine.

I don't think there is an app for screen record without root maybe because its accessing deeper APIs

Here's a screen recorder that should work without root:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.iwobanas.screenrecorder.free
I haven't tested because it's not supported on my Galaxy Nexus.

VBA language is protected by a licence from Microsoft so do not expect any macros on an Android device.

I don't think so.
VBA has some licensing things with Microsoft.
You can run normal Excel file (includes .xls and .xlsx).
But running file with VBA Macro is not possible.
Thanks both of you for your answers

You may try a VNC server service (for example droid VNC server) and a VNC client on your computer. I think this is the most reliable way.
Or apps like Android Screencast, Android Screen Monitor
Does it need internet connection??

You can also connect trough USB with ADB, but that sounds a too long way for a very straight forward process.
