My friend was convinced he could root my Samsung Galaxy S3 (Android 4.4.2). Well it started acting a bit laggy after he rooted using kingo root app. I asked him to undo it. He uninstalled the Xposed Framework from my phone and now I cant do anything on it. It boots up just fine, but freezes everything within a minute. He doesn't know how to fix it, and I know nothing about any of this. Is my phone bricked? Is it completely useless? Does my friend owe me a new phone (lol)? Please help!

Hi, I have bought an Ace ME ROM version for my fiancée that had Eclair installed. I rooted the phone using superoneclick v1.9.1 and everything was working fine. Then my fiancée connected to Kies and tried to upgrade to Froyo however the phone hang and she removed the battery and then the phone was not working anymore. I got the phone to work again by reverting to factory settings from the recovery mode screen, and the phone was upgraded to Froyo. However, the phone lost its root, and I am not able to root it again, once trying SuperOneClick the phone hangs on waiting for device (even though I tried all remedies to this issue that are available online). I tried to install Z4root on the phone to root without connection to PC however the application crashes when I click root or unroot.
By the way, the phone says that it is rooted in the settings/About phone/Kernel version screen.
I would appreciate any help on how to re-root the phone as due to low capacity, app to SD and removing stock apps is necessary.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Good Day Guys, My device (Polaroid MID0728) is ROOTED for almost like 4months now and i've been knowledgeable about rooting and programs with it like busybox etc.
My sister borrowed the device, and for some unknown reasons, my device went wrong, my sister doesn't know (probably know, but doesn't take the blame) what happened.
When i tried to look at it, at first i thought that the problem was of the busybox, so I went to sbin/xbin tried to copy the busybox file to transfer it to the bin folder, but unfortunately, my explorer said that my device is NOT ROOTED, I've installed root checker and found out that my device is rooted.
So can i please ask you guys on what should i do next?
I beg you guys, please, help. Thanks.

I'm using Lenovo A766, Android 4.2.2. My device is a rooted android. I have a problem that just happened last night. I tried to install 'Chainfire 3D'. To those who know how Chainfire 3D works, I'd appreciate it but to those who dont know, we need to install something that even I cant remember what it is but it did give me a warning about something before installing it. My problem is, Once I installed the application, My device would reboot automatically. Now, my Lenovo A766 would not boot up, It's stucked at the boot up. Idk whether we call this brick or what but as I know, Brick is when your phone cant even shine a single light. But my device can, just it gets stucked at the boot up. Please help me asap. Thanks for reading this thread. All ways to fix my problem are really meaningful to me. I'd really really appreciate it! Thanks again!
Please help me. Onegai shimasu.
i need urgent help.. i installed kingo root apk on the tablet and tapped on -root-
[i know i should have research it a bit before but i didnt)
it progressed to 95% and just stuck there for like an hour already
i realise i can still open the task manager and multitask and everything else is perfectly working..i opened root checker(downloaded beforehand) and it says i got root acces
i also realised i got a new app " KingoUser" in the drawer
so my question is :
1. i want to know is this normal for kingoroot to be stuck like this?
2. is it safe if i reboted the tablet?
3. how long does normally kingo root finish rooting?
im freaking out really, too afraid to reboot it because i might end up with a bootloop..and i just got this tablet for my wife and im rooting it so i can hack some nikkiup2u game that she like to play for extra coins
please help, thanks in advance
