for some reason it can't read ".spd" notes.
and I'm pretty sure it's impossible to get screen off memo to work with samsung notes unless you use a ported note 7 rom.

The screen off memo is a separate feature of the Note 7 rom, not integrated in the notes apk

Works on stock AT&T Note 4 (I'm on KK). After the app finishes installing, it offers to import existing Action Memos and S-Notes, either from your device, or from copies stored in your Samsung account.
Any way to get new action memos routed to Notes instead of S Note ? Thanks.
Apparently there is an update on this but I cannot seem to update it, when I go to update I get an error saying "your phone is not compatible with this version"

I've been searching for a solution to install the stock Moto Camera in a custom OS and only found "partial information". I managed to install it fully working on CM12.1 and decided to share this zip which does all the magic. I tested this zip in my device and it worked fine.
This zip installs:
Motorola Camera 5.0.21.4
libjni_mot_mosaic.so (required for avoiding force close everytime you close the app)
Tested and working in:
CM 12.1
Nexus Experience ROM
Known issues:
Doesn't records slow motion videos (Thanks to t3chn0s1s for reporting)
Fell free to ask if there are any problems.

Sorry, I searched for in the forum but didn't found anything about it as I said in the main post. Can you send me the link in a PM so I can check the thread, please?
And no, you probably won't receive updates from Play Store because it's not supported as the app is only available for the specific stock devices. But I'll keep my eye on it. My brother has this device with the stock Android. When he receive Camera Updates I'll check if I'll receive it and borrow him the Play Store downloaded apk otherwise to create an update zip and post here.

Thanks to the OP for posting this. Been looking for a working Moto X cam to run on the Nexus Experience ROM. So far so good. The only thing I noticed is that SloMo video recording returns a toast error message that the video cannot be captured as the mic is possibly in use by another app (paraphrased the message - not verbatim). But I probably would rarely use that feature anyways. Everything else seems to work excellently!

Interesting fact... I flashed 0.0's unofficial build of Temasek CM12.1 with a commit he cherry picked from official CM (I think that's what he said) which allows installation of ALL stock Moto apps from the Play Store. Not all of them work but the camera and gallery do. The issue with "Slo-Mo" not working is there as well. And that's after installing the OFFICIAL Moto camera app from the Play Store.

That is absolutely bizarre. Been using this cam for the last few weeks. No reboots here. But, not all devices are created equal. Just because one device runs something fine does not mean another same device will behave identically.

Had to delete my previous comment because the reboots started again, and are deffinetely a CM issue with my device. After uninstalling the app everything was fine for a couple of days, but soon the problems started. I flashed some nightlies and they all had the reboots. I had to go back to the 12/08 version, that is working perfectly for me. I am using this camera again and hadn't had any problems at all.
Hi guys, question, stock camera has its own drivers? Cause i know stock has much better image quality than cm (MUCH PRETTY QUALITY), SO i guess stock camera and stock firm have they own drivers, this zip install that?

Yes, @Tinchoska, it has it's own drivers, that's why I managed to install it on CM. The CM camera is awful compared to official one. And I did no more updates because the oficial update through Google Play Store seems to be working now (At least for me. If it's not working for you I can update it here.)

@s27moto, I did not tried it before. You could make a nandroid backup and try it and tell us if it worked.

i flashed a Note 5 Keyboard Port for Note 3, IN my A300FU and it works.
A lot of these things work, the mandatory part i think is just Lollipop.

Sure. The A5 SmartManager works well, i really wanted the feature to auto turn off apps.
What about touchwiz? Any good ports there, especially with the theme store working?

I have seen many Note 4 users having the Note 7 Spen features such as: GIF maker, translator, text extractor in smart select and magnify. However, I am having trouble finding all these files apks or zip, can anyone provide me the links to all these features, that would be great.
Also if anyone has more suggestions on how I can make my Stock Note 4 more like Note 7 that would be great.

You can try installing smart select from here http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/samsun...ase/smart-select-2-0-57-android-apk-download/ Just install as a normal APK. That will give you the GIF making function.
Perhaps search Note 4 forums for N7 port roms. Maybe you'll find something you like.

Thanks, I will surely try the link that you have provided.
I have already ported Note 7 rom in my Note 4, as much as I enjoy the features, but the bugs keeps annoying me. Unable to use the stock lock screen because of fingerprint, is a big downer and there isn't any real good app that can replace the stock lock screen.
Magnify is 64bit based (Libs e.g.) and can not run / ported on N910x !!!

Can you tell me what version did you install and which worked, because I installed the latest version it wasn't working (keeps crashing) and 2 previous version are not installing.

this worked for me, just changed model to SM-N930F rebooted and galaxy apps updated smart select and other 5 or 6 apps

I've installed version: 2.0.57. What rom are you running? Ok. Uninstall the current smart select you have, then try installing v.2.057.
Will this work on the Note 10.1 2014?
Tried installing on my Note 10.1 but can't get past the parsing issue.

Just downloaded it, and works perfectly fine. Thank you so much. However, I did download the glance and translator apk.. But I can't seem to add them in shortcut of spen as they don't appear over there and the app icon isn't appearing either in the app drawer either. any help?

Never tried Glance, or Translate. But, I highly doubt they'll work by just installing them like that. Perhaps search the forum, or Google around and see what info you can find. Good luck!

try "next" app
I think u can add aircommand and air viewdictionary apk from n7 system rom to n4 system rom. Changing permission and try if work. In this way you can of course view translate in air command. Try and let we know

I accidentally installed the new Samsung launcher app (from the s8) which works great - but unfortunately it won't rotate to landscape which is a bit stupid on a tablet.

I found that out the hard way, too. I couldn't figure anything out so I ended up hard-resetting and starting over. That's what I get for tinkering...
for me s8 launcher is fine, landscape wont work only for the home and drawer, other than , its fine.

Camera and messages app are showing error while installing.
Emoji maker app is installed but wont be able to use if latest(s9) camera app isn't there.
@Encik Panda can you give a new link, please ? This one is not working for me. Error 400.

Would not install on my at&t note 8 on crc2 Oreo. I went back to 7.1.1 way better and substratum works better. I'll wait for the s9 Oreo software ror the note 8 or by that time maybe on a new phone.
None of the apps posted here and from apkmirror not works on s8+ oreo, maybe will do afther next SW update....

So, i hard reset phone, and installed latest oreo version, clean install, but none of apk from apkmirror wont install, i guess that in oreo we have another install protection, anyway i only want messages apk but don't want to root the phone now...

You need to install APK editor pro and change the package name, you should be able to find a video on how to get it installed.

I got the new message apk from apk mirror to install thanks to adb on my at&t note 8 7.1.1. Maybe adb will work on oreo crc3.
