Have you tried any root apps like kingroot? If there are any stock ROM images availible, you can even change the superuser application to supersu.

As long as the tools are here to find the root I have tried, no way to root my phone did not seem to see twrp zf3 image file, and if there is an image file that can be described with fastboot into the brush

[Q] Ascend G7 Root with SuperSU

Hi! I have the Huawei Ascend G7 and unlocked the bootloader. Then I tried to get root with iRoot and it worked but I don't like the Kinguser App and would like to replace it with SuperSU. That did not work. I read something about Cyanogenmod and custom recovery stuff but don't know where to start and what will fit for my G7. I just want that SuperSU works. Any help? Can someone please give me a step-2-step tut? Do I need to place those images of recovery (don't know which fits with my phone) in internal drive of my phone? For example here it is described something with SuperSU(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=57896700&postcount=17) but the sentence "After extract Find the way how to use the fast boot you can flash cuatom recovery and then after root flash the stock recovery" is kind of confusing. I only manage to reboot the phone with those commands via CMD.
Hope someone can help! Thank you!!!

Hi him.singh,
I tried both of the above and sadly it didn't work.
However I was finally able to root my device with kingroot successfully.
I do have a query though: a.) how do i disable "root safe protector " in kingroot.
b.) can i replace the kingroot (v 4.8.0) with superSu?
Thanks to all who took time to respond.

Hello vikas_1983 ,
I apologise for this.
I forgot to mention Kingroot App.
And Congrats !! you rooted your mobile.
Now coming to your question...
--I dont understand your first question !!!!
-- Replacing Kingroot with superSu.
replacing is simple
++ Method ++
1) Download SuperSu me (Download)
2) Install and open app,
3) Click on "Blue android button" ,
4) It will start replacing Kingroot with SuperSu.
4) Now , Process finished , SuperSu starts automatically .
5) Now you can check "root" status by using Root Checker app
6) After this process if there is any kingroot icon in mobile then you can remove that manually.
This is simple
I hope it will work for you :good:

kingroot apk or kingroot exe which aps helped you to root??
Hey Kesupat
You can use both..
As vikash is saying Kingroot worked for him..
Then both exe and apk will work..
Becauce scripts used to root are same whether you are rooting via PC or using Apk.
If Kingroot Rooted Micromax Q392 then King root have working script for that device.
So you can try both....
First try to root using APK.
If it not works then try to root using windows pc.
Hit "Thanks" if answer helped you..

you need to be rooted
install terminal emulator
install root explorer
using root explorer go to the root of the phone ,then browse to dev folder----> block ----> platform -----> within platform try to browse different folders to find a folder named "by-name" . open it to find the address to one of its contents in the properties section . the address should be like
dev/block/platform/xxxxx/by-name; (xxxxx is replaced by one that ur device has )
now open terminal emulator and type
su
grant superuser access to terminal emulator , if prompted n then type
ls -al /dev/block/platform/xxxxx/by-name (xxxxx is replaced by one that ur device has)
u will get a list with elements like...
lrwxrwxrwx root root 2014-01-02 07:22 boot -> /dev/block/mmcblk0p33 (where address of block boot i.e "mmcblk0p33" is replaced by one unique for ur device )
try and find this "block info" for boot , system , recovery , copy to keep the list somewhere .
now in terminal emulator type
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p33 of=/sdcard/boot.img (to backup boot image for your device to sd card ; replace "mmcblk0p33" with the "block info" address found in the above step )
repeat the same step for system and recovery to get system.img and recovery.img respectively
Now you have the backup of your system , recovery and boot partition that you can modify or flash from fastboot later if required !!
P.S. BE PAITIENT FOR system.img backup as it takes SOME time to back it up

just install twrp then install supersu v.2.71 binary update from TWRP. if u dont want a permanent TWRP recovery, extract the recovery.img then execute command "fastboot boot recovery.img" (assuming you already have the driver and fastboot.exe), and install the supersu binary update like usual. google it. or just port A6000+ recovery
I think you have to unlock the bootloader first. I have tried this option a few times and whilst it says it writes the recover.img, it boots just the same.
Hello!
I'm looking for a way to root my Lenovo A6010.How do I make a full backup of its ROM before I make any changes (like rooting or tampering with the boot loader)?
I could not find a TWRP for Lenovo A6010 on their official page. Can you please explain in more detail what modifications I have to make to obtain root privileges?I found 2 threads where the owners complained about bricking their phones with KingRoot.I need root to uninstall all the bloatware and to remove write restrictions from my SD card. Thanks in advance.
Later edit: I found a procedure for A6000 here http://forum.xda-developers.com/lenovo-a6000/how-to/root-root-lenovo-a6000-plus-lollipop-t3199532 that worked for me, I had to change the TWRP img from the package provided there with the one for A6010, you can find it on the 4th page of the thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=65346556&postcount=33 .
The good thing is that by following the A6000 tutorial TWRP will behave like a Linux Live CD, and the only modification to the phone's OS will be the installation of SuperSU.No changes to the bootloader or recovery partition.

OPPO A5s update file has boot.img but can I patch it with magisk?

I have an OPPO A5s (cph1909) phone. I want to root it because ColorOS takes too much memory and to install a custom rom. I searched for stock rom but I found a stock firmware update file that can be installed by stock recovery. When I extracted the stock firmware, I found a boot.img file. Can I patch it with Magisk and install it by stock recovery? Won't my device go bootloop once I'm done?

I noticed that the boot img included in the stock rom can be decompressed via zArchiver then, inside there is a file named "boot". There is no file extension maybe it is of ".bin" file format.

Disable Some Apps - But not the All apps can be disable.. Some apps is Still Working when i already Disable it using Titanium Back Up..
Note: Root Privelage Is 100% Working
Lspeed - Tweak's is Working, But dont expect it to be applied in Boot, Since I'm Using MTK Easy Root "BOOTLESS Root" Only..
ToolBox - I'm Using this, To TurnOFF Start-Up Apps, Its Working 100% Sure..
But Don't Turn Off:
•Storage Manager - RAM/Performamce Drop
• Battery - RAM/Performamce Drop
•MediaStorage
•SystemUI
•ColorOS Launcher
•MultimideaLocalService - RAM/Performamce Drop

I can make roms and recoveries for this phone but anybody unlocked bootloader? Search for some hacks to unlock bootloader of this phone ?
It's impossible to patch and root Oppo A5s with your current version of Oppo A5s. But I think the other and only way to do that is to avoid the update security version that stops its users to bypass and root Oppo A5. So first, you will need to downgrade your current version. I have successfully patched the older version of stock firmware image of Oppo A5s named CPH1909_EX_11_A34 with latest Magisk Manager. Like usual, download, extract and patch the boot.img.
So the idea here is once you made yourself a patched file you can now use it flash in order to downgrade your device and make it rootable than ever. Then, you will need unlock it's bootloader in order install TWRP Recover to make stuffs flashable.
I'm sorry I can't put links in here yet because I'm a new registered acct here in xda. For the rest of the steps, just google "How to Downgrade Your Android Phone to a Previous Version".
I haven't completed the whole process yet but soon, I will in my free time. Hope it helps?
so, to sum it all up. its not possible to have an alternative rom (android 9 at all?) on this phone model? particular cph1909....

Custom Recovery (TWRP etc) for Alcatel U3

I have a Alcatel U3 4055T phone (same as TCL 4055T) and I have tried all the simple methods (PC/APK …Kingroot, kingoroot etc) of rooting it with NO SUCCESS. It has Android 6.0, Baseband MT6737M, 3G/LTE. Now I have thought of trying rooting it manually, I have read online and figured out that I might need do as follows:
(1( UNLOCK the boot-loader
(2) FLASH a custom Recovery (TWRP)
(3) EXTRACT Boot image from the phone
(4) PATCH the image in (3) with Magisk
(5) FLASH the patched image back to the phone
I have just successfully unlocked the boot-loader BUT I can find any version of TWRP or any other custom recovery to FLASH into my phone. I have tried all suitable TWRP(s) that I could find online with no success.
PLEASE help me out in rooting my phone … any help from the members and admins will be highly appreciated.
This is to inform that I have successfully rooted this phone using Magisk and now I can enjoy all those apps which require root. I wish to thank the makers of Magisk ... this was simple and straightforward . BUT I I still have stock recovery.

Well … the method I had used only applies to devices with MTK chips. The Best part is that the device only gets rooted after boot && running a script. Means if you wish to keep it un-rooted (for some reasons) you can also do that. The package contains 2 apks and one of them is “magisk” … and other is “mtk-easy-su” install both , you only have to run the later and it will execute magnisk. You can also tic the box for automatically root at boot. Here is the package: https://offlinemodapk.com/mediatek-easy-root-apk/#more-3134
To run those kinds of application, you need the Magisk Manager app if you have a rooted device. By enabling the magisk hide on the app, you would able to run whatever application you need, which cannot work on rooted devices. Becric
