I was convinced that SIM2 was the slot that holds (a secondary) microSIM card as well as can be used for the memory card, and that SIM1 is the primary slot (made for nano-SIM) - at least according to what I've read and the specs I've seen.... but on my XRN3 it's quite the opposite.
So do you guys also have it the other way around, i.e. SIM2 slot is for nano-SIM, whereas SIM1 is microSIM/microSD slot?
I guess nothing critical, but it still raises questions.
In mine it's either nano sim / SD card and the other tray is for the micro sim.

Are you sure you don't need a magnifying glass?

It's SIM1 and SIM2/Card. But if you search careful you will find on this forum that some users managed to use two SIMs and a card at a same time

I've noticed that this thread has gotten quite a lot of views, from searches i assume. Well, sorry to disappoint, the problem i had was that i had accidently toggled the little read only switch on my microsdxc to sd card, so you will have to look elsewhere for a solution to your problem!
Hi, i recently bought a 64GB Sandisk Ultra Microsdxc card for my Samsung Galaxy S III. When i used the Adapter to connect it to my Macbook, i couldn't read/write to its fat32, so i had to format it to something else, so i just chose ExFAT. I put some stuff on it, but now, two days later, the card is suddenly read only? It happend after i exceeded 32GB, although the picture says 36,38GB Available, that's because i tried to delete some stuff from the card. Does anyone have an idea why the card is suddenly read only?
- Thank you!

I popped in the Micro SD card from my EvoLTE and I can read files just fine but writing is a major issue even for the stock camera app. Attached image is what happens when I change the save path to SD and take a photo.

Check to make sure the card is properly seated in the slot. If that's not it do some tests.
Sd cards do go bad sometimes. I would back up your sd card, double check its the G3 and not the SD card by putting it in another phone, and try another sd card(a friend's?). If your sd card is fine and another sd card doesn't work, your phone might be faulty. If its just your card and your card is ok, might be a weird compatibility issue.
It's a known issue with kit Kat. There's an app called "next app sdfix" in the market that fixed mine. It's free so give it a try

maybe samsung smart switch from the play store?
Sprint's and Verizon's Sim cards are only for access to the 4g LTE network along with activation the phone. They do not store information like they do with GSM phones. If your needing to get contacts off of a sim card then you will need to take it to a store that has a cellebrite machine to pull them off. If you can however get access to those contacts directly from your old phone then you can simply bluetooth them over, save them as a .vcf, save them to google, email them to yourself, among many other options Samsung smart switch included.
I can not copy all contacts dela sim, I recommend better copies 1 on 1

Looks like up to 256GB for me. Took my wife's free Note 7 gift and used it for myself ?
Anyone else test out a higher capacity Micro SD to see if it would work?

damn. Nice
afaik @albertobom also uses a 256GB card - so: confirmed,
ymmv
I'm using it and works great on stock rom. I'm having a hard time to make it work on aosp rom. But on stock everything is fine. No issues of any kind for me.
200GB and 256GB tested no problems
it's never really a hard limit...so if somethign supports SDXC it will usually support up to 2TB if it ever existed.
Yeah why not
not sure if its Bakeey or yam version says on settings LD903_AIJIA_I5S, issue i have is i may have bought the wrong phone as it says 2G now i know 2G no longer online however having a multi band sim so if u have a 5g phone the sim card backward compatible for 4g so 3g should be backward compatible with 2g. when i put sim card in a sometimes get T-mobile UK and it picks up some texts msgs. but cannot make phone calls. is there a way to format the OS to upgrade to a higher band. like 3g or 4g. or is the MB hot-wired to run on 2G only. I apologize if this is not in the right forum please move if required. thanks
closets info i can get on device is this
