Tried to apply a custom rom to phone and didn't realize FRP Lock was enabled. Phone now doesn't have a ROM installed and on startup just have the "Error has Occured Screen". I tried to use smartswitch pc software but it doesn't support the Samsung J120 device I have.
Hoping at worst I can get back to stock rom.
Just an update, the only thing I can do is go into download mode. But with the FRP lock enabled I don't believe I can do anything but any help to fix the issue if possible would be appreciated.
Hi, luckily you phone is fixable, to do this you need to restore the firmware using a application called Odin, search your device into XDA and it should have a guide, if not then ask there.

I tried to unroot my device but it got stuck in a bootloop, so I did some research and decided to restore it with smartswitch, it failed (I have no idea why) at around 70 percent.
The device is now showing me "An error occurred while updating the device software. Use the emergency recovery function in the smart switch pc software,
I tried to do a ton of times, I tried both the the emrgency recovery and the other option (I don't remember how it's called) and they won't work! The files are downloaded but then when the process starts it always gets stuck at 0 percent! I also tried to install the drivers, nothing
I alaso tried to flash a stock rom (no brand but I'm using TIM) and it immediately failed.
The device is a samsung s6 SM-G920F, it had 6.0.1 and m brand is TIM. Odin version is 3.12.3. I'm dowloading another stock firmware with my brand and 6.0.1, hopefully, does someone know why everything is not working?
Please help I'm going crazy
You may have to send your device back to your manufacture to get it fixed

So I tried to flash TWRP with Flashr on my J3, but when I booted into recovery a blue screen came up saying that system software not authorized by AT&T was found on your device. I got nervous and decided to flash a stock firmware on to my J3, but it fails every time. I finally got to like 10% but then it failed and a blue screen saying,"An error has occured while updating the device software. Use the Emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC Software." Smart Switch crashes every time I put in my serial number though so now I'm stuck with a bricked phone. Any help would be greatly appreciated :fingers-crossed:

Try flashing again with Odin, but this time use older versions, maybe v3.10.6 or v3.09.
Solution
I flashed a random root file that I found on another xda post and it managed to boot.

Next time, try not to flash files blindly, because any file that is wrong can brick your phone.

I have the following problem: After flashing android nougat on my LG V10 it got stuck into a bootloop displaying "secure booting error error code 1003 modified". I guess this is due to wrong ROM.
Furthermore I cant access the recovery mode and my computer doesnt recognize is so i cant flash anything onto it via a pc. The only thing wich I can access is the "return to factory settings" thing.
Im not concerned about any data on the phone. I would just like to get it into a working state.
So far ive not fount any thread wich can help me.
Am I right to think that the best way to go is to send it back and ask for a replacement? I am in europe, the seller in China.

My phone was updated to Nougat 7, and rooted using CF auto root, Also had TWRP installed (but was too dumb to actually make a backup.)
It started playing up so I decided to do a factory reset, upon doing this I could no longer login because I don't have a google account I can access.
I tried to reflash 6 and the bootloader for it through twrp and it appeared to work but when it rebooted I couldn't get past the logo screen.
When I try to flash nougat 7 with odin I get Error SW REV. Check Fail Device 6. Binary 3
I can access my "download" screen and I can access TWRP, is there a way that I can fix this mess?

Hi guys,
My g928i is bricked and I can only get into download mode or the something is wrong connect Samsung smart switch software to repair screens. The Smart switch software says the phone is not supported.
I cant flash TRWP on the phone with Odin as it says bootloader FRP Lock.
Tried putting latest stock FW I could find G928IDVU4CRG1 on with Odin , I think its older than what was on phone (see pic)
Phone is Australian version , what do I need to do to fix it?

OK got the phone back working , now I cant get past the FRP llock. I enter my google account but it just goes back to the same screen. How can I remove it? I want the phone back to stock like new
