Slowmotion cam in custom roms? - Elephone P9000 Questions & Answers

Hey =),
before i try some custom roms i got a question:
is there a custom rom that support the stock rom slow motion function?

Aerom (standard edition) and Eragom have this feature.
CM until build 5 didn't have.
Grorkmod and DarkSense i don't remember

Mine does support this, so does GrorkROM as far as I'm aware, just the camera apps we use (Google Camera) as default maybe don't support it so all you need to do is install a 3rd party camera app that does support this function.
I've stated the reason why I favour GApps instead of the Mediatek ones in my thread.

Are you sure Eragon has slow motion feature?

Sorry Jonny,
What I want to mean it's exactly what you said.
The camera apps that comes installed in Eragom and Aerom (stock) has this fetaures, not that the rom doesn't support
I don't know so much about making roms, but I think that slom motion is related to hardware (to the MTK chip to be specific) and we just need a camera app that support this feature

Yes, I'm using it now.
In camera app select the icon that it's like a camera with 3 little balls.
And after start to record

How can remove this mod and reinstall the orginal files?
I think the camera is a little bit better than with cm12.1 but the gallery is unusable for me

You'll need a backup of the original files to restore
(Can I also take a gallery apk from a cm12.1 build and move it to system/app?)

I could fix it with a /system wipe and install the rom zip again

The rest is working fine. Already tried to clean cache and data from camera.

Both camera and gallery get replaced. I didn't find that option in cm's cam, better look again.
Fot backup just open the zip and look in the update script.

When you open the camera, look at the left of the Camera button. That is panorama mode.

I was talking about saving to sd in cm camera. Not panorama but i found it now.
camera crash while taking pic on note 2
video is only worked.. but camera is just waste for note 2 n7100

Best software camera app for Le Max 2

Hello guys.
Currently I'm using the moKee 6.0.1 V1 ROM. With this ROM and on all stock roms before the camera didn't work that awesome as it COULD be with this beast of a 21 Sony camera lens. The photos aren't as crisp and sharp as I've imagined they would be, as well as that autofocus isn't working properly. I think that this is a software related issue.
Do you guys have a good camera app for our Le Max 2?

Search "Footej Camera" on Play Store. It's an app made by Semaphore Inc. If you can't find it, pm me and I'll send it to you.

I can't help you as I'm on stock 017s and I'm using xposed but without the xprivacy, and no sophos.
Hm thanks anyway. I doesn't seem to work with my moKee v1. Maybe it'll work with moKee v4.
I am with cm and the same problems the cm camera works but it have focus issues and others. Can someone post here the 17s stock apk camera.
Edit: Footej camera doesn't work with cm, says the process stoped
I'm using footej camera app and raw works but everything is very washed out, faded color instead of dark rich vibrant like it's counterpart jpg? Anyone know if this is a driver issue of the phone even with the camera2api enabled?

Which is stable ROM for Le Max 2 X821???

Hi guys!! I am searching for a best stable ROM for my Le Max 2 X821! I hate EUI and i love pure stock Android, RR ROMs, AOKP, AOSP like ROMs. I want a ROM with fingerprint, IR, camera, battery all things good in this ROM because i want to use new ROM for my daily usage. I want VOLTE too because i am Jio user which only Runs on VOLTE.
So, which is best stable ROM for LeMax 2 x821 in your eyes. I am waiting for your replies

I want pure stock Android. I hate EUI
Try unofficial lineage os 13 by andr68rus. Everything works. It is perfect stock Android replacement of the eui stock rom. Only thing is dat phone heats up at the back and battery drains slightly faster while gaming.
If u want nougat try the official Resurrection Remix nougat rom.Only letv camera app, volte and 4k video recording doesn't work. Rest all are fine.

It is also stable but audio has a very very slight static sound when using headphones. U can get to know the difference in audio quality when you switch between this rom and aokp rom. Alsi there is at least a 1-2 second shutter lag in aokp but zero shutter lag in unoff lineage

What about IR, fingerprint, camera,etc.. in MM version of AOKP ROM??
Ir, fingerprint and camera is good. But as i said earlier there is a shutter lag while taking photos

I don't care about shutter lag!! I just want a pure stock Android ROM with everything working. So, do you prefer AOKP ROM mm version to me?? And excluding shutter lag everything working fine?? VOLTE, IR, fingerprint, camera??? You face any bugs??

Then everything is fine. No other problems apart from shutter lag and slightly degraded audio quality.

It is working. Are you on the latest build or the first build[emoji23] . Even if it doesn't work there is a volte patch u can flash separately.

There is problem with camera in aokp mm version
Volte works fine,but not as good as EUI
I suggest you to stick to the stock os as there is no stable custom os made for le max2... I'm back on stock bro

Fullscreen Youtube on the Mi Mix 2

I found this in the G6 forums and it works excellent on the Mi Mix 2.

Videos that dont show up fullscreen can be pinched to zoom to make them fullscreen.

Worked for me non rooted and rooted. Also works on Miui and xenonhd without issue.
Works like a charm on unrooted MIUI 9 global. Thanks for sharing !
Google has officially updated the app with a pinch to fill the screen feature, no need for a custom app now. I have got the update on my mix 2. works seamlessly

Since the camera UI is quite laggy I would love an alternative like the gcam ones.

You can use camera 2 probe app from playstore.
I found this in a Nokia 7 Plus forum and it is working without any FC issues. However, front portrait is not working and rear camera colours are coming out weird. I am not sure what settings to use to correct it. I noticed some minor improvement in the front camera, which could probably be improved with the right settings.

If any of you can suggest the correct settings to get these working it will be great.
Anyway, since the rear stock camera is pretty good and even better than OP6 and also because the main rear camera (stock) has a 84 deg wide angle, we can always set the timer and turn it around to capture great selfies

I tried few of them made for lg v30 from their respective xda thread after reading your suggestion but all FC for me.
None of the Gcams are working for me - I have almost tried all from G cam page of XDA. Now I feel like should have gone for OP6

Yeah... Feel ya mate. I sold mine because of the heavy skin and the average camera. Rest of the phone is great though... But went for the 1+6 and really happy with it.
