You really shouldn't expect it to come out as soon as the code is released. This goes for any OS.
There's also the fact that a lot of devs don't like to be asked this and in the past has caused devs to decide not to release anything at all.
It's all up to the devs and in the end it's best to wait and make sure the ROM actually works when it's released and not try to rush anyone.
It was only a question...
We have to wait to CM update to CM14 or Code Aurora to update patches for AOSP to have a Nougat version

And I answered it as such.
I was doing nothing more than stating the obvious. Asking for release dates as soon as code is released is usually frowned upon. I was just informing you of this fact and not implying anything else at all.

I'm not sure, but AFAIK Moto E will recieve Lollipop update soon, with that also the Lollipop kernel source will release. I guess when it releases we will get it because currently the kernel is not supported. It needs much patches! Anyways, percy_g2 is working on it, but he failed.. He haven't tried making a new build since 8 days. He may left this! I still hope he will start working on it soon, as currently I'm really busy. I will definetly try it when I have more time. Till then let's wait for Motorola to release sources.
I read somewhere that @percy_g2 is going to resume his work from december for android lollipop.. so we can expect android L upto december end or before...
hit thanks if i helped you.....
So it's been a long time since marshmallow has rolled out for many devices, and even Android 7 (N-Nutella) Is going to roll out soon, is there any info when will we get the marshmallow update?
In advance, thank you!

not only him, there are 3 devs working on that(loki, nofearnohappy and anomalchik) , they're all forked from nofearnohappy's repo but anomalchik's repo is the most updated right now https://github.com/anomalchik/custom_kernel_hermes

Any news about the marshmallow rom by nofearnohappy?
not that i know, theres rumors of testers for marshmellow on miui.com but the thing is that i dont think any Mediatek X10 phone has recived marshmellow so far. mediatek is centering on development for the P10, X20 and X25
just a noob question,
android 5 problems getting more and more fixed, so can anybody explain me, why everybody ask for this fu.... android 6, knowing you will face again all this problems? ...just a question...

Will oneplus x get android n or cm14?
Sorry for too many noobish questions
There's nothing such as CM14 and when android N will be out, we can hope getting OxygenOS 3.0 (M)
Yeah i know it doesnt exist now,but are there any chanses that opx will get cm based on nutella?
did they care enough to push you M when its almost over a year thats its released by google ? i dont think so
Oxygen 3.0 based on Android M is in progress. Look at the oneplus forum
He is asking about developer support, and you guys are shoving OnePlus' incompetency at providing updates at him.
@pexluka To answer your question, Yes, I'm positive we will get the next major android iteration.
I think it isn't clear at the moment if we become official cm14 or Oxygen based on Android N. But some developers will Android N roms, when cm14 is released
Thanks,im hoping so
Sure, there are lot developers for this device.
OPX will certainly get android N
Who will bring this low-end OS to our device? First?
I was gonna ask the same question. Android GO is going to be the best way to put Android O on the moto e 2.
Android Go will be more stable and lag free. It'll reduce the need to use RAM heavy OS like the newer CM Builds. I hope they release the source and builds soon so that someone can port it to Condor.
Yes I know that our device is low end it really need this type of ROM but Don't expect this ROM any time soon before Q2 2018, as this project is expected to release by 2018. So be patient and wait for Android O.
After reading into details: GO will be a flavour of O. You can get a similar setup with existing custom ROMs and microG. Only GO feature i haven't seen yet: Restriction of recents to four apps.
I'm looking into the possibility of getting Resurrection Remix Marshmallow AOSP ROM running on the Galaxy A5 2017 device of Model Number(s):
A520F (Single SIM Variant)
A520F/DS (Dual SIM Variant)
I've made time available on my hands as i'm a fan of the ROM and it would be great running it up and functional on this device.
I'm hoping this post increases popularity as to attract experienced developers so i can get all the help i need since building an AOSP ROM such as Resurrection Remix from sctrach is very challenging and time consuming.
The Official A5 2017 AOSP (Devs Only) Whatsapp Group is available for all of the developers who would like to join it in helping me bring this Project to life. If your interested in joining and helping, simply post down below your intention in doing so along with your International Contact Number.
Btw here's the Resurrection OS Marshmallow Source:
https://github.com/ResurrectionRemix/platform_manifest/blob/marshmallow/README.mkdn
And here's our device's kernel source which was released by Samsung:
http://opensource.samsung.com/reception/receptionSub.do?method=sub&sub=F&searchValue=A520F
I wanna too, for A3 2017
Wasn't there something on the Whatsapp group about collecting donations for an experienced dev to buy this phone so he could port the rom? I would love to see Resurrection Remix on my A520W. Maybe if a post was made on the forum about donating, more people would see it.
I think that it's will be never possible ,because "Exynox" cpu (drivers problems.....like others devices, like some galaxy note...) ...
But it was truth in the past ....and maybe i was wrong now ,i don't know the last development ...

Ha ok ,good new for source .:good:
And yes...pity...samsung (exept "s" series) is less and less interested ...
In the past i loved customs roms but now it's maybe good for low and some middle devices but i think that it's a good "regression" ,we loose some good stock options and functiins (like finger print...etc...)... don't have the full exploitation of photo ...less performance.....etc...(samsung stock patent !!!) But yes....with some customs we can change the size, position and color of the hour,battery...etc...lol ! And cm/lineage sourced is not as "stable" as stock firmware ...
Lineage OS in on the horizon. Maybe this will help inspire other developers to take up the Resurrection Remix project or develop their own custom ROMs. But good things are coming in the future.

I see the thread has been closed and no more users are being added to the group, how can we keep up to date? I'm very interested in this phone but I'm holding back until I can see that LineageOS has a developer/maintainer.

If you hit me up on WhatsApp I can try and get the OP to add you to the group. I'll talk to him that you're interested in helping out with the development of Lineage. But once Nougat drops, I think the resources will be available on GitHub.
I hope install the rom too man. a5 a520f/ds.
