Wife's H900 on AT&T has android 5.1 and is rooted. Is there a way to upgrade to 6.0 without wiping? Tot method with ota update wipes doesn't it? Thanks

I've just bought a brand-new HTC One Max (international model, unlocked) and it seems that there is no Android 4.4.2 update, it just says that current version - 4.3 - is the newest version.

Don't really know, mine's unrooted and I've got the OTA update. However, I am facing severe wifi connectivity problems.

Search for instructions on how to unroot your phone (flash stock firmware) on Google.
Just went back to this phone while i'm getting my other repaired and it was recently updated to the latest update. I'm just curious if it's possible to root and install safestrap on the latest CDMA version?
It should me possible. It was only a small update to fix problems when roaming...I think. It's not like we went above and beyond jellybean. I didn't lose root when I updated and I didn't see any message about root being restored after the update. Try it and see

Hi .. ive bought Lg G3 Sprint Ver. And My Sim Card Works (Mobinil,Egypt) But i dont know if its Unlocked before or not .. if i updated it to lollipop using this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2785089 the sim card will not work ?

Zv4 is kit Kat, not lollipop. Is that the build you are on, or is that the build in that post? Are you rooted?

Bump should still work for giving you custom recovery, but there is also a newer method for root and custom recovery.
There is a zv8 Rom that unlocks gsm for all carriers. Flashing the bone stock image may break your gsm unlock. I'm not sure what it would do since it won't be able to activate on Sprint.

hey guys i upgraded my phone to lollipop version 5.0.1 and i would like to downgrade because i can't get to install a custom recovery to my phone bootloader is lock. please help

Well first off how did you upgrade to 5.0.1? Did you take the OTA? If you did then you can not down grade.

You will not be able to flash a recovery. Only people with the old MDK boot loader can.

My recommendation to you mate is that you root using the desktop version of king root, replace it with SuperSU, install flash fire beta, then install Strang5Litre ROM. Probably one of the best most stable Roms (and the only one out there at the moment) Everything you need is in the general section

I have the stock, rooted kdz H90120e installed on my unlocked LG V10 (H901).
Have been looking for a rooted version of T-Mobile's most recent OTA: H90120j...but, have only been able to find the original version that will restore root to my device.
Has anyone developed a rooted version?
