These are Xposed Modules that will let you customize the UI of you G Pad. They were originally made for the G2 but it has been proven to work on the G Pad because it is still LG's skin. Both of the modules are on the google play store and will work for 4.2.2. They all have Betas out the currently work for 4.4.2 but you will have to go to their respective xda threads. All credit goes to the developers, see the links at the end of this post. Support them and report issues to them
Do this at your own risk, Soft bricks may occur and a restore will be needed. I use this and have not had a single issue... ever.
Before you get started you will need to have root and Xposed Framework installed:
To install the framework:
1. Download the Xposed Installer APK and install it
2. Launch the Xposed Installer, go to the "Framework" section and click on "Install/Update"
3. Reboot
4. Done!

Everything I have tried so far has worked on my G Pad. Now my tablet and phone have the exact same setup, which is kind of nice for consistency between the devices. Has anyone tried this module along with XBlast Tools? I don't have XBLast Tools yet since I'm not sure if it plays nice with G2 Xposed. I would really like to change the notification bar icon colors.
Not working, app_process can't be installed, even after several reboots.

Go through the process again. You are the only one who has had issues. Install xposed (remove and install again), activate the module in the xposed app and then customize away
I confirm, this works great on my gpad as well as my g2
Working great here. This'll do until custom roms arrive.

Could you please anyone share g pad 8.3 stock lockscreen wallpapers ?

FYI, G2 Xposed is now opened up for the G Pad in the Play Store, so you can download it directly from there. The OP might want to update the top post to reflect this.

Did you read that post I linked? It's not my opinion, it's that of the entire open source community.
I used to like moonlight ROMs because of stability too, and I shared one in a similar way, but then I got reported and in trouble cuz moonlight is well-known as a Kanger in the community. When the mods realized that I didnt know about moonlight before sharing, they let me off. Since then I've been warning ppl against make the same mistake.
Also, moonlight ROMS contain malware (some system apps which serve no function and consume and send data)
PS. If you aren't satisfied, ask @jackeagle, he was the one who advised me on this when I made this mistake.
Thread closed until permission to use Blisspop is given.

Hi everyone!
I have a quick question from my daughter (she's the one using this phone):
What app do you use to hide navigation buttons? She likes capacitive buttons under the screen but this phone doesn't have them
Thanks!

As no hardware Button, we need soft navbar. But you can:
-Hide navbar depending on the app you are on.
It is called expanded desktop.
For example on launcher hide statusbar and navbar
-Use pie control to only show nav Button when needed.
It is called pie settings.
Here exemple crdroid, but dotos shall have it too.
Well, my phone, has already an option to add small 'v' symbol on the left side of navigation panel. Pressing it hides it. To show it again just swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
It is in Options > Smart Assistance > Navigation bar > Navigation bar (switch).
Thanks for such perfect reply!!!

Go into shealth app notifications (swipe down, swipe across shealth, touch the cog on the left)
for me as I'm using steps it's then.....
Ongoing
and choose silent and minimised for current steps.
That's basically it,shealth steps is still active in the drop down but status bar icon is gone.
This approach may probably work for most other apps status bar icons?
