CynogenMod notified me of updates so I went with it and when it rebooted my phone it was stuck in "Samsung logo". Then I tried to get to recovery mode by "home+power+volume down" and it gave me the screen of "Warning! A custom OS can cause critical problems..", now if I press Up it's stuck in "Downloading..." and if I press Down it's stuck at Samsung logo.
What can I do?

Looks like you need to flash stock firmware with odin on pc.
Just tried flashing stock ROM via PC using Odin 3.09, but after stock flashing it's still stuck at Samsung logo or "Downloading..." mode.
(using Odin 3 v3.09 and only using "AP" option of tar.md5 file without re-partitioning,PIT, etc.)
Hi Stefen Jerrard, to enter in recovery mode, you have to press volume up, not down.. Press volume up, home and power keys.
The way you did is to enter in download mode and then, pressing volume up to continue, you enter in Odin mode.

I have a tricky problem here.
Let me tell the background of the problem first.
Basically, I flashed cf-autoroot using odin on my phone and it restarted all perfectly, then I restarted it to download mode using pc command "adb reboot download" since trying from my phone always gets stucked on download mode warning screen, PRESSING VOL UP DOES NOTHING.... When I reached download mode, I FLASHED TWRP V2.8.0 using ODIN, it went directly to home screen not recovery, then I powered it down and restarted it to recovery mode and since then its stuck on Samsung boot logo with 'recovery not seandroid enforcing screen' . I tried to boot into download mode using VOL DOWN + POWER KEY since my HOME BUTTON IS FAULTY AND DOESNT WORK. So, I get to the download mode warning screen, BUT pressing volume up OR volume down does nothing and I have to keep POWER + VOL DOWN pressed for about 10 seconds again to come to download mode warning screen. How can I go to download mode when I cant access the TWRP recovery and also have A NON-WORKING home button .
URGENT HELP NEEDED, PLEASE.
My galaxy s3 is currently stuck in the download mode of I hold volume down+volume up+ home the phone shuts down but when i switch it on the logo shows for a very brief moment than it goes back to the downloading screen anyone can help
If you know the buttons aren't stuck flash a stock rom via odin.

I did everything same as mentioned on net but after I start odin it says pass but when i boot into recovery it show stock recovery instead of twrp. First I got supersu rar on my device then i unlocked oem and enabled usb debugging then turn off device and start downloading mode by pressing volume down power and home and then volume up. After that i connected device to computer and odin sayed added! Then i located twrp file in AP and started odin then it said pass and then my phone restarted( i also tried one more time by dissabling auto reboot by removing battery). After that I again switched it off and pressed volume up power and home and then it showed an android symbol and it was written updating on the top. After few seconds the android symbol felled down(became slant) and a yellow warning(alert) sign (exclamation in yellow triangle) appeared at top of it and then stock recovery started. Please help me guys

After that i entered recovery mode but it got stuck at Team Win page.
I pressed vol down+power key and after that I am stuck at samsung A50 boot icon.
I am not sure how to enter download mode as well, this model has only 3 buttons
vol up, vol down and power.
Most of the tutorial for samsung talks about home button also to get in to download mode.

hi, i have samsung s9+. i tried to flash twrp using odin but when the screen turned black i pressed volme down+bixby+power off button instead of the volume up button. now the phone only says can not do normal boot invalid kernel length.
it can not enter the download mode, recovery mode or just open.
