Hey I have a problem with my sim not recognised after flashing custom rom, imei is fine so is baseband i can see them but sim not recognised how to fix this, sim gets recognised when revert back to original stock rom.

Problem: Device not recognizing after flashing stock rom.
I was recently having some problems with my device.So i thought to flash stock rom.
But flashing the ROM with flasher was unsuccessful but i found a update.zip which could be flashed using fastboot.
Then flashed the rom with fastboot but then i inserted SIM CARD and it was not recognised by the device.
I thought the IMEI would be missing but i used imei write tool.
When clicked READ IMEI then i was showing my device actual IMEI but there's no IMEI number.
I checked *#06# its still not showing the IMEI and SIM card in not recognizable.
Need some suggestions fast.
Does anyone have solution for the problem for No sim detected.I have tried both the slots.In both slots I am getting the same error.Also my phone is not able to connect to Wi-fi.All this happen suddenly.I have not done any software update or something like that.Please help.
dial *#06# to check your imei ,i case u lost ur imei then u need to flash stock firmware from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2755857, and if u have ur imei the simply restart ur device or if still not fixed then may be hardware issue..
I had the same problem.
With me it turned out that the phone wasn't recognizing the Sim as it was locked to a different network.
I thought that rooting and putting on different custom ROMs would unlock it but no.
Try a different SIM
I own a Lg G3 sprint ls990.I live in Bangladesh.My device was on android lollipop and it was fine.But due to restart and warming issues i flashed into stock kitkat rom using flashtool.After 91% of flashing a red screen poped up in my device it said "warning; not support qem=0" and in the flashtool app it said failed.But when I pulled out the battery and rebooted my device I saw everything is okay.Then I put on a working sim card and it couldn't detect the sim card.i tried with whole other working sim card but i couldn't detect.I changed my sim slot but that also cannot change the condition.I flashed with other roms but still nothing is happening.When i dial "*#06#" to know my imei it says "connection problem or invalid mmi code".......Now Im badly in need of your help guys.Please,do help guys.

So basically my problem is when i insert any sim card my baseband version is going unknown same as imei. It happens on every rom except S5 sensation rom. Whenever i try to restore efs or modem device still has unknown imei and baseband. But when I pull the sim card out it is known and correct. Any way to repair that?

A really weird problem appeared on my device after upgrading to the latest miui 8.7.19 global beta from the 8.7.12.
After this update my secondary SIM slot stopped working. It reads the SIM correctly but it can't connect to the network.
If I put the same SIM on the slot1 it works, if I put it on the slot2 it doesn't work.
It's driving me crazy because I have the need for 2 SIM for work.
I already tried to revert it back to the old ROM via fastboot formatting the phone but it did not help. The problem is still there.
Can someone please help me? thanks.

Nearly same problem.
my phone was imei repaired. today i updated to the miui 10 with ota. than sim card gone. no service
