Since google has released their new android version , KitKat , there have been tons of new features embedded in the version. As the title says I was,and still am curious on how to use the screen record feature which has been introduced in the new version.I tired using the in-built screen recorder of the ROM but later found out that the ROM I was using did not have the feature.I also tried using Koushik Dutta's Screen cast app which he developed but then after using it my device device started to lag a lot.It was lagging a lot while recording. The phone was not usable while using the screen record app.Any help or any idea how i can avoid thus annoying thing ? I googled but found nothing.I Searched XDA and found nothing.
P.S. : I hate those screen cast apps in the play store so i would not even bother trying out those.
Device : Galaxy s2 GT-i9100

Hi there ,
Yesterday I was pleased to install the official Kit Kat 4.4.2 ( D80220b-EUR-XX ) on my LG G2 D802 , but unfortunately now I got a problem with the video player - it can't open any videos ( even those , made by my phone camera ) .It is also affecting the camera it self, when making video and try to open it straight ,when camera is still working , the camera just crash and close......I reset the phone to its factory settings , but it didn't help.
No such a problems before with jelly bean......

Hello,i installed the CM11 on my I9300 Galaxy S3 and since then i haven't been able to view videos on my browser, everytime I try to view a video it starts and after a few seconds Google Chrome crashes. This has happened with different browsers too.Videos on the YouTube app load normally. The only way to view videos is to download them and open them in MX Video Player, how do I fix this?
ROM: CyanogenMod 11 Android 4.4.4 M11 SNAPSHOT
Guys help me please :crying:
My Tmobile sgh t999 has a LOT of problem with CM 11, i don't know if it's the same problem but the only builds for my phone are nightly so It's not supposed to be veery stable.
Chrome, twitter, a lot of apps will fail. Had to reinstall Google apps pack or even google play died. Maybe I'll switch ROM soon
Hi guys, first thanks for helping. :good:
Well,I've installed the Omni ROM 5.1 of Teamwin, all is working well, less the videos, than that don't run video on the Browser, and the self video player of the mobile. I've tried to install an other video player, but don't work anyway.
The model of the phone is : GT-i1900

Are you using the latest version of omni rom? I'm afraid that the developer stopped giving updates for our phone, so it would be best to move to different rom like cm12.1 if possible.
The problem is with the hardware decoder not working on our device, it is falling back to software but even the fallback is failing. Cm12.1 has this fixed and so videos work fine.
