I'm certain I had seen an app either here or on the Nexus S forum ... went through 16 pages, but couldn't find it
The app I'm looking for is sort of like a notification app. When I receive a call on my phone and my phone is not within sight, a notification is send to all wifi enabled devices on the same network. For example, my phone rings and I get a pop up on my pc or maybe my smartphone notifying me!
Can someone help .... please?
Thank you
Sorry can't help you, but I will watch this thread as that app sounds very interesting
Found it http://code.google.com/p/android-notifier/ in a reply to your question in the Nexus thread
I know the title sounds a tad confusing, but that's because what I want to do is kind of confusing.
I want to send a text to a phone number, but have my phone not actually send the text at all, meaning that there would be no chance they would ever receive it, but it would make it look as if I texted them (I know I could edit my text logs with an app or some sort of SMS restore app, but I want to see if there is any way to do this).
All help is much appreciated
Sent from my Inspire 4G using XDA
hmmm... i see what you mean.... you need a messaging app that has the capability of allowing you to send "duds." ive noticed that if you have multiple messaging apps, sending one with one app shows in the others, so i assume they all use the same database for storing your sent/received messages. so actually, what you need is one that toggles a block for the messages, telling your phone you successfully sent the message while keeping it from leaving the phone. the best way for it to be integrated would be a setup where you hold the search button to toggle the block. this would let you send a message in front of someone, have it injected into your logs, and it not really be sent at all. i dont know of any app like this, but if you are a developer yourself (im not. im on this site because its helpful and i like it.) or if you know one who can do it, it seems like it wouldnt be difficult to make, although root would be a likely necessity.

i think i found one. if youre willing to shell out the 100 pennies for it, maybe this is what youre looking for.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rayy.android.fake&hl=en
try it within the first 15 mins of getting it, and if youre displeased, go back to the market page and hit refund.

Exactly what I am looking for, is a way to send "dud" messages. Anything or any way to do so would be absolutely beautiful (I only wish I was still a developer. I got to C# and stopped years ago, then never recovered back to my potential).
Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you sir

Hi everyone
I have a question regarding posting an app which would hide Last seen at on WhatsApp.
This isn't modification of existing app or anything. All it does is, when you open the app, it disables wifi and data, waits for the internet to disconnect and opens WhatsApp.
After you are done sending messages in WhatsApp, you need to press back button to reach to my app and it would check that you closed WhatsApp and will enable wifi and data and quits automatically.
I'm not sure if this is considered as hacking or any kind of unofficial method to do.
Please let me know and I can post it.
I know that there are many apps that are available to do this. But they are either paid or they require tapping a button. Just want to distribute so that people can get use of it.
Let me know if there is a MOD or someone that I can check with.
Thanks,
Hangoverr (sorry I don't drink )
Hello!
does anybody knows about some application (that needs probably root) that I can move around tablet with voice? - some app running in backgroud that will (for example) swipe from the right to the left of the screen to get to another page when i say "swipe right". There are plenty of bots that can swipe, but none of them(?) can do it on voice command.
So if somebody know, pleeeease post link or app here.
Or if someone knows how to make some app like that, then can you spare a bit of your time and make it for me pleeease?
Thanks for everything
I don't know of one, but what have you been using the doesn't work with voice? I'm interested in trying that out.
Bump. No one knows ? Or some bot that will activate on voice
So...
It's very easy to change the SMS app. The only problem is that by Oppo keeps deciding that -sure, I can choose to change my SMS app- but it thinks I don't really mean it. And therefore goes back to Oppo's SMS app for 'security' reasons.
Has anyone figured out how to prevent this behaviour?
I posted a question about this sort of behaviour just now. I did not see your thread before I posted it.
I will watch this thread and hopefully I will get an answer from here or my thread. Have you tried to disable the Oppo messaging client with adb? That may work but it may also stuff it up, so maybe back up before attempting!
