In Watchmaker Is it possible to make a script / Tasker or anyway make a" tap to lunch Google now"? Feel stupid to say "ok google" every time.

I see that the double tap of home button leads to a Vlingo search app. Is there a way to change that to the default google voice search? I like that much better.
Or is there a way to remove the double tap function at all ?
I'm joining on this one. The Vilingo double-tap is just annoying as I'm a norwegian who never uses english voice commands or voice commands in general. Would be nice to have a way to disable this feature

Ugh... looks like the latest update broke it. Anybody know of another way to to get the default google voice search?
So I'm getting inconsistent results from google assistant when the screen is off and locked (I use the dot pattern for locking). From what I can tell I have to reboot the phone and google assistant will unlock and answer my questions without any issue. THEN after a few hours or so, maybe half a day, when I say "Ok google", the device will perk up and register my request, but won't automatically unlock. so I have to draw the pattern for it to respond to my question.
What's the deal with this? Why does it sometimes work, but other times it doesn't? Has anyone else had this problem? It seems so random. I can't figure it out.
Thanks for any help.
David.
EDIT: Just figured it out myself. When I lock with the double tap it won't unlock with "ok google". The reason, so far as I can tell is that Nova Launcher is responsible for the double tap screen lock/unlock feature, and so Google assistant won't unlock through it. When I disable double tap through Nova Launcher but enable it through system settings I can only double tap to unlock, and the double tap for locking doesn't work at all.
I can't find a solution where double tap works to turn the screen both on and off, AND assistant always works. But at least I'm one step closer to the solving the issue.
You can double tap on the notification bar and then disable the Nova double tap lock. Not what you want exactly but since Nova can't do what you need, it may be the only way to have your Nova and Assistant.
Honestly though, I have Nova but have been pretty OK with the way the LG launcher can be configured.

I use Nova with a pin on my lock screen. Google Assistant works as advertised every time... That said I very recently did a factory reset. Do you have AOD enabled?

Ok, this is kind of a BS workaround, but here's your solution:
Go to Settings > Lock Screen > Voice Recognition
Set an unlock phrase different from "OK Google." (I used "hello phone," but whatever...)
Now if you "OK Google" your phone and your knock code / PIN / pattern unlock screen comes up, you can use "hello phone" as an alternate, and it'll bypass the lock screen.

Double tap the notification bar? When I do that it just shuts off the screen. Is there some other way of getting to this setting? I mean, I can go into Nova settings and assign 'none' to double tap, but then I still can't double tap to turn the screen off. Apparently Nova interferes in some way. It won't cede control double tapping to the system settings even when there's no action assigned to it.
I recently installed Nova on my mate 10. Every time I try to swipe up from the bottom of the screen to get to the drawer (all apps), both drawer and Google Assistant will show. I tried so many way and did so many research and still could't figure out how to disable this Google Assistant shortcut feature. I drive everyday so I enjoy using Google Assistant to make phone calls when I am driving.
Does any one know a trick hoe to disable this Google Assistant swipe up shortcut in mate 10?
Thanks!
Hi, its simple. Follow this:
1. Go to Settings then search "Default Apps"
2. Select "Assistance & voice input" then select none
Enjoy your new mate
Thank you @deodass, my same problem solved perfectly!
If you do this on Pie, however, you can no longer access Google Assistant in any other manner (as far as I can tell). I have a Mate 10 and am using the off-screen navigation gestures (i.e., relying on the home button). Any thoughts?
Isn't it easier to disable the Gesture?

Read again, I'm using off-screen navigation (I have a regular Mate 10 with a home button). That choice is not offered unless you're using gestures.
deodatts, you litteraly saved my life. I had been searching for months for a solution to deactivate this pain in the a**.
Created this account here especially to thank you !!!! cheers
I want to get rid of it too, but I want to keep Hey Google. When I initially disabled assistant, Hey Google still worked. Then, while looking for a way to change the tts voice (only two options, red and orange, showed up in the Google app) I installed Google Assistant from the Play Store and deleted it afterwards, and "Hey Google" under Voice Match in the Google app settings has been greyed out ever since unless I enable Google as the assist app and not just as voice input, which again enables the annoying swipe up gesture. Any idea how to go back?
Hi I am new to the Amazfit this is my FIRST ever smart watch.
I noticed i can choose between WIDGET or SPORT for button Long Press.
How can i choose to open custom APP instead of the above mentioned Widget or Sport ?
I found the 'Watch Droid' app to be more useful tool and want to trigger this app , is this possible ?
I did search the google before starting new thread :fingers-crossed:

Hi,
I asked the WatchDroid developer for something similar:
- Whenever we unlock the watch, we were able to access the watchdroid notifications with an action (eg: double tap in the screen).
He said that If many users asked for... He will see if had time in the future to do it.
I think your request maybe is easier to do.
Hi ...
I like to give commands to my device when screen is Off. So I am trying to make autovoice to respond even when the screen is off like @joaomgcd have featured in Youtube (see below). Actually I wanted to make Autovoice my Assistant while the screen is off and change that to Google Assistant back when the screen is ON with the help of Tasker. By that way I can issue commands when screen is ON or OFF...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-t7cqdp9jX8
I did the following.. (You can see screenshots)
1. went to settings > assistant & Voice Input
2. Selected AutoVoice hotword detection in assist
3. for Voice input, I'm unable to choose autoVoice as it grayed out. Google is selected by default.
.. If I say "ok google" nothing is happening. but If I hold the Home button Autovoice is poping up...
I have already posted the same in AutoVoice forum and waiting for @joaomgcd to respond. I hope by posting this here in XDA I may get the answer from others who already tried it... So guys can anyone please help me out ?
Thanks in advance
