My rom does not work.

i use dsixda's Android Kitchen build rom.the resource is from RUU.
it can't flash to my phone with ClockworkMod_Recovery_6.0.2.7.when it is begin, the phone reboot.
Now i use ClockworkMod_Recovery_6.0.2.8, it works well
Honestly it could be any number of problems. I have found that its some what easier to flash the RUU root the RUU then use adb pull and pull everything from the phone then build the ROM from that. Just my 2 cents.

Ill never understand the mentality if people like this. My school is full of kids who ask how to do everything instead of doing their own research.
Most of the time, the information is already available to them from material right in front of their noses. Yet they still want to be spoon fed.

How much experience do you have in java? I'm guessing none. I've been into android for about 4 years (theming), learning java for over a year and I still won't attempt to dev a Rom. In other words, really learn this stuff before you brick your phone or worse, someone else's phone. If you can't debug your own work, you're a lost cause.

Well, let's just see what happens when you flash an older version first. If it works, then you can try flashing to the newer version to see if it still works (though i would take a TWRP backup before dirty flashing the newer version just in case).

Thats a good one ! Bump to that !
In case the answer is that is not possible to do that i have started to read all the info needed to fix this(up to what i read till now it seems that is needed to go back to unrooted stock, make all the OTAs and when there is no issue go to a custom rom)
is that ok ?
Can someone help with sort of ordered numerated chronological steps needed to perform !?
Thank YOU Very Much for YOUR Time and consideration

Hello guys who can throw off for installation TWRP Recovery v3.1.1??? can't find version 3.1.1
My Nook HD+ has version 2.8 and this new room installed without any problems. When I tried to update TWRP to 3.1.0 or 3.1.1, it would. Hang at boot screen and I was unable to get to recovery. I downloaded the TWRP from their site. Just Google "TWRP Ovation". You will find several versions, but I would try installing the new rom using whatever version you already have that is currently working.

I was trying to update using the "official TWRP app" from the play store, no luck, upon further reading it only works if you have TWRP 2.8.7 already installed. 8 had 2.8.1. I was able to update TWRP using "flashify". Only problems that I have so far is no boot logo as room is loading during normal boot & Chrome continues to crash. With chrome being built in to this rom, there is no option to uninstall it. My opinion would be that we could install chrome from the play store once the rom install is complete. I do not use Facebook, so that's not an option for me to communicate. I will try to get screenshots for you in the next couple of days. Thanks again for your hard work developing this new rom, Great Job!

Would it be possible to make the rom file with an identifier such as having the date in the title so that it's easier to keep up with & to verify that we are using the most current version. This would be helpful as updates occur in the future.
