Multiwindow in eui 16? - LeEco Le Max 2 Questions & Answers

Hi guys, I'm trying to enable multiwindow in my phone, I already have the option in developer options, but when I enable it it doesn't do much aside from the warning. Any ideas?

To do it I installed Xposed framework, then EUI Moder module and I removed the custom app management of eui.

OK so that's working but how do you get to your quick settings etc now?

I just left all the default options in the EUI moder.

Yes or something easily accessible.
Mine settings are as below, if I tick the top one when I boot the phone goes bonkers unless I tick the unhook resources in Xposed settings then no eui settings are changed.

That's weird, I'm using another ROM tho, the US version .16 perhaps that's why? What about trying an app that creates the shortcuts? Or trying to do it via gestures with a launcher like Action 3? Also I didn't look further into how to get the EUI to look more vanilla like, as this worked for me, perhaps there is something else.
Edit: have you read the post in XDA about the EUI moder? Perhaps there is a solution there.
