Friends, I need a lot of help from you. I have the E2363 mode (Android 6.0.1)l and would like a way to root without unlocking the bootloader. As I do not have knowledge to make a firmware with root, someone could make and deliver for me to do the flash by flashtools? Thank you very much in advance!

Yes, if it's Marshmallow based Rom, you would still need unlocked bootloader.
the focus is wrong > it should be to make it possible to obtain recovery first

Sounds like your doing something wrong then You don't make the Pre-rooted zip for mm the same way as you do for lollipop and when downgrading/upgrading firmware you MUST wipe clean the device to avoid bootloop. Lollipop uses ftf, supersu and recovery.
Mm pre-rooted zip uses ftf, a dummy supersu zip and dummy recovery.
I know you can get rooted mm with locked Bootloader doing it that way as there's z3 and others using this way to get root on mm without unlocking the Bootloader. Unlocking the Bootloader to root mm is only a absolute requirement if your device has dm-verity security which the M4 aqua doesn't use.

I tried it in may ways like cleaning cache and wiping data but neither way pre rooted zip works with mm
Better bet is to upgrade > unlock bl > root

flashing a FTF will remove the custom recovery and root but not lock the bootloader, but you can lock it with flashtool or by restoring the TA bckup

No you don't have to unlock the BL to flash a FTF
Mersiiiiii Dude
First of all, I'm spanish, my apologizes of my expresions or misspelling.
That's what I've done:
1 - I've checked if my bootloader was unlockable, and my phone say's: NO
2 - Then I've installed the DualRecovery W/O root and with my phone bootlocked.
3 - Then I've tryed to flash CM11 in TWRP recovery, flashing first the Boot.img via fastboot.
4 - Device in Red Light.
What I can do to woke up my Z2? That's my record 2 hrs to **** my phone. :silly:
Firstly, it's stated in the first post of the CM11 thread that you shouldn't be using dual recovery. If you read the thread further, you'll see that it is recommended to use the recovery in DooMKernel to flash. And this requires unlocked bootloader.
Anyways, you can try using Flashtool to flash a stock firmware. Might be able to recover your phone.

If your BL is locked, you cannot install CM.... coz you cannot install a custom kernel. you should rebuild your phone using SEUS to put a good ROM.
Then you can put whatever ROM you want for LB and root it. but no custom kernel.

Hi there,
Is there any way to get root access without unlocking the bootloader. I found some ways in XDA but nothing is clear.
I would really appreciate if you guys can send me a link with a clear tutorial of how to get a new ROM without unlocking the bootloader.
I just got my Z2 which is sim locked (UK) and I can't unlock the bootloader from the official page.
Many thanks,

second: I can't unlock my bootloader forever ??
and third: What is the function of recovery mode if I can't flash any cRom? Just backups?
Thanks all ^^

You can download a Generic FTF and use flashtool to flash it to your device
Once you unlock your bootloader it stays unlock till you relock
You can flash roms n manage general other stuff from recovery

You should Downgrade To 5.1.1
And Do root vith King Root
And instal Nut Dual Recovery
Then You should Build A Rooted Rom with PRF Creator And install in Recovery
Or Download A Rooted Rom from Other Topics And install in Recovery
If You Go to Unlock Bootloader
Xreality And Bionz Of Camera Was be disabled Forever.

But OP is asking for Systemless root.
Your method is not Systemless. It's simply about getting root using Prerooted firmware which uses system root method.
If you were to use systemless root on unlocked bl, Would you be able to get android pay working or would it still reject it?

That's what it is all about. I want systemless xposed but it's not working in my Z2 and people have suggested that I try getting systemless root then try flashing systemless xposed, I've tried a lot of stuff but after flashing systemless xposed framework, it just reboots normally and doesn't works as it patches boot.img and idk there's something with it that's not working on Z2 .575 mm
So I just wanted to know.
And yes you can use android/google pay with SYSTEMLESS XPOSED which you can find Here
It's not necessary to have systemless root for this. You can simply flash it and use materialistic xposed installer.

Hello guys,
i have searched a lot but couldn't find any useful guide on how to root xperia z2 6.0.1.
is it possible to root it ?? and if not, to what version should i downgrade and how to it + how to root the downgraded version and what are the softwares needed ??
my phone info:
model D6503
android 6.0.1
kernel 3.4.0-perf-gc14c2d5
build number 23.5.A.1..291
I really need to root it please help, thank you.
there is heaps of different methods out there, one just maybe needs to look harder,
one is http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z2/general/tool-rooting-23-5-1-291-supersu-t3437280
not a bad method that is relative easy,
really depends on what you want, custom rom, stock ,
if a custom rom, then i would recommend flashing a 5.1.1 stock rom and king rooting it then flash a good recovery and and a custom rom of your choosing
If you want to install custom rom:
1. Unlock your bootloader ( as required by most roms out there )
2. Flash TWRP using
Code:
fastboot flash recovery %filename%.img
In recovery,
3. Flash ROM
4. Flash SuperSU.zip
5. Done
