Gear fit 2 - Samsung Gear Fit

I have a few questions. I'm trying to start walking before I get surgery that will limit that for a bit,any good apps to download? How do I view the trail/map of what I've walked? And are there any good free watch faces with weather, time, date and steps?

0 apps, not authorized by Samsung.
You can view map on SHealth in your phone or a tiny screenshot on the Fit2.
There are many faces in the store but Weather not autorized by Samsung, only hour/date and Health data. For Weather or events, some faces can have a shortcut to access on the hidden Weather or current events on Fit2.

How do I view the map? All I see is a circle around the area I traveled, but I see the trail on my watch

[Q] Looking for routing app

Am familiar with Google map and some other mapping apps. What I'm looking for is something similar that keeps routing notes of business locations. A client provides a product for area retail outlets. Need app that allows notes to be kept for multiple locations where can click on a map, click on business location pinned on map, and be able to edit note/spreadsheet for that location. App would be able to track when last visited a location, items delivered, etc. by doing a quick search and also be able to print. Sometimes these areas don't have access to the Internet so being able to use offline map with notes would be a big plus. Is there an existing map app that has such capability?

[Q] Viewing A Specific Calendar In One Touch

I'm looking for a technique or an app that allows me to display a specific Google calendar in an application with one touch and without the use of a web browser or widget.
Ideally, I would simply tap a shortcut on a homescreen that would open an android calendar app, displaying only the specified Google calendar.
The real world use case is that my office is in a building with a shared conference room that has it's own resource calendar. Sometimes, there will be a spark of inspiration and our team will want to get together in the conference room to discuss. Currently, I have to either run to my desk and view the calendar or go through a lot of trouble on my phone to drill down to the day, then hour and select a particular calendar to create an event to reserve the conference room. It would be so much more efficient if I could click one button to see if the conference room is already taken and click once more to create a reservation event if it's available.
I've used AppXplore to expose the intents of the built in Calendar app for use with Tasker. com.android.calendar.selectcalendars.SelectVisibleCalendarsActivity looks promising but I'm not sure of the Extra activity information that would be necessary to only display my desired calendar. I was thinking that I might create a Tasker task that removes all the other calendars from view, open the calendar app, and wait for a particular event to re-activate the other calendars. But again, I'm not sure about the Extras that would be necessary.
Perhaps there's an app that can create shortcuts on the desktop for each calendar. Or perhaps someone knows how to achieve this with Tasker or a shell command. I would appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks in advance.

Best app ever for retail!
I work in retail (Best Buy) and I use this app all the time to write down quick notes or customer requests.
Suggestions?
Only one, different color skins for notes/interface. Great app otherwise!
I love the idea, but it won't sync with my phone. I created a list on the phone and deleted the example notes. The phone app shows the example notes and not my list.
Suggestion : Add the past (Copy/Paste) from todo list "GTask" (google task) and/or from "Out Of The Milk"
Whether an application for Gear S offline without a smartphone? Is it possible without smartphone Gear S create notes and reminders to get?
Question..why dose the app need so many permissions? Like accounts. Gps. Alarm. Apps. Sd card ?!!!! Its a note app! ?[emoji52]
Question/Suggestion
First I want to say this is a great program so thank you for making it.
I have one suggestion or question. Is it possible to be able to re-arraign the tasks within a note. It would be nice that when i open the program I immediately see, from the snapshot, important tasks first. Basically be able to add a line to the first line.
Thanks

It is a note app which is connected with Gear watch and syncs notes with Dropbox and with Gear watch.
Also you have the choice to attach pictures and to add time or location based alarms for each note.
Thank you for the question.

Very nice suggestion. I wil try to add the choice to rearrange tasks inside a note.
What about the option for completed tasks to move to the end of the list?
That would be a nice addition, but I just delete the task once completed so all I see is what needs to be done. That's why it would be nice that when i open my notes that I see the top five shown to be my priority. thanks
I really love your app!
This is an example of an app full of features. I think the developer smartGear is doing right by asking feedback. It's a nice way to improve the app and detect possible errors.

Totally Agree.
Sync with watch
I can get notes in gear app to sync with watch. Gears S3.
The app gives me "no gear device has been connected" message. I checked the obvious Bluetooth connection etc. Any suggestions on how to solve this?

Activity Type of Gear Fit2

Is there a way to edit the list of activity types on the Gear Fit2?
I would like to add strength training or weight training as an option. Is there any way to do that?

Gear Fit2 Pro Permissions

I have a Galaxy S9+ and a Gear Fit2 Pro. Since I generally wear the Fit2 I would like to use Smart Lock with the Fit2 as a trusted device to prevent screen locking. But the only way I've been able to get that to work is to allow the Fit2 permissions for Calendar, Contacts, Location, Phone, SMS and Storage. Are all these permissions in fact required?
In addition to privacy concerns with these permissions, I don't want my wrist buzzing every time I get a phone call or text. And BTW I don't use Samsung's SMS messaging app, which they also seem to require. I use my Fit2 only to tell the time, and display heartrate, steps, calories, etc ..... I don't use it for communications, notifications, etc
