Does flashing open eu rom will cancel the warranty? - LG G5 Questions & Answers

My boot loader is locked. Can i flash on my h850 the open eu firmware?

Flashing stock firmware(EU or carrier branded) does not void warranty. Just make sure you flash the firmware meant for your variant - H850.

Official / unofficial unlock bootloader ?

Have read many threads re what you can do with official / unofficial unlocked bootloader, it appears there is lots of potential problems when using the unofficial method...
I cannot find much comment about if you have an officially unlocked bootloader and how careful you have to be flashing /twrp/ota a new ROM, or is there less risk if unlocked officially.
There is no risk involved if unlocked officially.
there is, so use official
If unlocked UNOFFICIALLY
- Before flashing MIUI ROM zip via TWRP, delete apps_boot.mbn file from the zip & then flash.
- Before flashing MIUI firmware via fastboot, delete apps_boot.mbn from the images directory & then proceed.
- If you fail to delete the file, phone will hard brick.
-To return back to OFFICIAL locked status, flash MIUI firmware via edl mode.
If unlocked OFFICIALLY
- No need to delete apps_boot.mbn, flash via TWRP, fastboot, edl mode normally.

Will unlocking the bootloader voids the warranty?

v300l flash h930 firmware to unlock the BL, and then flash original kdz will locked?

I have a Korean V300L,I wan't flash h930 firmware to unlock the BL,and then Iflash the V300L original kdz will it lock back?ROOT is working yet?V30 use magisk root can OTA update like Pixel?Thx
if it's working as you think, then flashing a kdz won't relock your bootloader. it'll remain unlocked. but i don't have answers for the rest of your questions beside of the fact that you cannot update a rooted phone via ota, unfortunately.
not relocked but lost fastboot option
cannnot flash twrp & root
if you want to root in v300L stock rom

Korean V30 variants don't have the necessary fastboot flash commands. Only H930, H939DS, and US998 have those.
That's why for WTF bootloader unlock and root method Korean variants have to temporarily convert to EU H930 (but they lose radio bands), and then flash back to something else with TWRP flashable zips after bootloader unlock and root, to get radio bands back.
These Pie betas are just inferior partial OTA files. Once full KDZ is released, you'll probably be able to root by using WTF/Korea variant method again. As long as you keep unlocked bootloader!
Is it possible to get H930 Recovery backup via LGUP?

How to re-lock bootloader and make the phone factory stock?

Hi.
I have an European Oneplus 7T Pro. The bootloader is unlocked. And the rom is stock Android 11 (beta). Phone is not rooted.
I am planing to sell the device so I want to make it all stock again.
I tried to re-lock the bootloader but I got an error. Error said that it could not boot. Locking bootloader again allowed it to boot.
So how can I make the device factory stock?
MSM I don't think there is an Android 11 specific one out there, but you can certainly go back to Android 10 with it. Just make sure to use the right version as there is both a Global and EU versions in the thread.

You can wipe all data from the settings menu then go to fastboot and flash original recovery if you put twrp on, the lock the bootloader in fastboit

Do I need to flash stock firmware for S7 Edge SM-G935F first, or can I just flash TWRP?

Basically, I've searched for this question but no concrete answer to be found. I am following a rooting tutorial and it says to flash stock firmware through Odin and then flash TWRP.
I have found the stock firmware for my country (Android 8), but other cell carrier than mine, and the phone is currently running Android 9.
Can I just flash TWRP without flashing a stock firmware beforehand, or is it necessary to flash a stock firmware first, and if so, what about the different carrier and a previous Android version?

Before flashing TWRP, it is a good idea to flash the latest firmware to get the latest version of the modem, which will be useful for use with custom ROM.
Carefully read the TWRP flashing instructions so there are no surprises.
If you don't want to change the original firmware, then flash TWRP.
beware, latest firmware may bring new security updates such as vaultkeeper or RMM protection to your device.
you can flash different CSC with modded Odin (not recommended) but you can't downgrade bootloader.
use Samloader or Bifrost to download from official Samsung server for your region.
