The default camera app from LineageOS makes the selfie cam very choppy/laggy, I need this fixed if there is a fix because i'm planning to take some pics with front and back cam really soon. the selfie cam works on snapchat without problem and very smooth, but don't know whats the problem with lineageos' camera
Stock camera is not crappy but it's awesome
Ok so I have a question: Is it possible to capture HDR Picture on Nougat using another camera app like Google Camera... instead of Snap Camera? I can't take HDR pictures with the Google Camera included in the ROM.
google camera is not included in any rom unless u flash stock gapps which removes snapcamera and installs google camera.
It is possible, I have done it with Footej camera and Sense Camera (HTC Camera).
I have no links for HTC Camera, but I'm pretty sure it is somewhere on xda, Footej camera is free on playstore.
have anyone tried any camera app other than stock?
the stock camera app doesn't have background blur effect!
Whatever camera app you use you wont have that effect apart from
Google camera and lens blur mode. So try that one , it works well but the results can be good or bad..
Use the Google Camera ported to Snapdragon 820/821.
i have tried lot of apps like miui camera v1.7,google camera, moto cam, etc.But they dont give desired results on any custom rom.
best app i have found is HTC camera ,having front hdr mode
if you know any app for best front camera quality ,please answer
Taken with the GCam mod 7.3.018-V2.8.1. with this miss the telephoto and wide angle camera also work
The first picture on the left was taken the stock camera app.
The second picture was taken with the GCam app, I like it better than Gcam camera app. Look at the detail on the headlamps. Pictures taken with stock settings
So why you use gcam
no link to the app ?? why??
Using the gcam app crashes when switching to the front-facing camera.
