You have to place the call from the watch or switch it over to the watch once its started.

if you receive a call in the middle of an app(ex. while listening to pandora in the car thru bluetooth, or Push up app)...does the app resume after ending the call? Mine doesn't...I just see the dialer. Does anyone know how to resume?
thanks
There is a setting in Pandora labeled "Bluetooth for Automotive" have you tried it with this setting on?
Pandora should resume after ending a call you receive.
it is on...
it's not just Pandora...after ending the call, i see the dialer screen...is this right?
That is normal Android behavior. There are apps to change that. I use Not Call Log. Some third party dialers have settings for controlling where you end up when you end a call. On Call End is free (I have not used it).
thanks...but I wasn't looking for where I end up after ending the call...
so if you are in the middle of playing angry birds, u get a call, then you end the call, it DOES NOT go back to angry birds?
Please use the Q&A Forum for questions Thanks

To clarify - the app never stops - it is running in the background. If you are playing music the music stops playing so you can take the call. Every music app that I use the music restarts after the call ends. It is (as I wrote before) standard Android behavior to stay in the dialer or call log after receiving or making a call.

YES - this is how android behaves, unless it has been customized to act differently.

Wasn't the first post about where you end up after a call - or more specifically do you return to where you were after a call?
At least one of the apps I pointed out has a setting for return to last active app. Did you look at them or try them? Another option would be to see if you can use Tasker to automate returning to where you were.
To sum up - no you are not returned to where you were at before you answered a call in stock Android.

Forward all calls (unconditional)
Call Forwarding Unconditional (CFU) immediately forwards all calls to another phone number without allowing the device to ring.
To forward all calls, follow these steps:
From the Home screen, swipe up to locate and tap Settings.
Tap Call.
Under Call forwarding, tap Mobile to Gear.
Tap Forward calls to.
Enter the number you wish to forward to and tap OK.
Tap Yes.
Forward some calls (conditional)
Call Forwarding Conditional (CFC) forwards incoming calls to another phone number if you do not or cannot answer them (no reply, busy, unavailable).
To turn on conditional call forwarding which forwards some calls, follow these steps:
We're sorry, but this feature is not available on this device.

I just posted on AC about this also. I think it because I have google voice set up. I just set up google voice on the phone also so now I thinks its all working now. I was able to test call forwarding and was able to get it to work after setting up google voice.

Ringtones get cut off and sometimes play choppy for incoming calls on my gear s. Has anyone experienced this problem?
Yes I have experienced this as well, it's annoying and I dont know what's causing it
What I did was set the phone to go to voicemail in five rings and the watch to go to voicemail in ten rings.

Yes My Gear S dose same thing do anyone know how to correct this?
Hi
Got one of these coming soon so looking into what this bad boy can do....
Q. This has a built in SIM so will come with a number so people can call my watch direct. If I pair with my phone and someone calls me on the phone, can I answer it on my watch???
Reason I am asking is that my phone is actually a Galaxy S 10.5 and I have been using Gear 1 with this, and I want to continue to be able to take calls from my tablet on my new watch
Any help is much appreciated
Cheers
Lee

They can call your watch directly but if it's paired to your phone it will go right to voice mail. However, if your phone is off it will ring and work like a standard phone. When your main phone is on and paired via BT it will ring at the same time as your phone. If it's connected remotely it will ring after your phone rings about 4-5 times, unless you manually forward it.
