can you please recommend any STABLE rom for SM- G925F ? Galaxy S6 Edge ?
My phone was driving me crazy with stock rom, it was restarting 20 times/day , gives a lot bugs and i decided to try other roms, but i'm not happy so far!
I've tried few stock roms from "sammobile" - a bit better but not as good as it should be.
I tried also CarHDRom_V.24.3_4DPGW and nexify_2.0 .
CarHD rom was kinda slow, and phone keep restarting few times/day. I choose Hacker's kernel from installer.
Nexify gives me message "Messaging stop working" in 1st 10seconds after boot, then i can't use themes and wallpaper menus, gave me message "Settings has stopped"
Anyone here happy to share his experience with some roms ?

There is not much of choice here. S6 edge development kinda very limited, probably not many devs owning it.
You could check S6 android development. Most of the roms are compatible with S6 edge.
On the other hand, I'm using carhdrom v24.3. No issue as yours. You must have done something wrong. Or your phone has issue.

So far, waiting months to return my phone from guarantee service. There was issue with mainboard. Now i will check out some new roms. Thanks!

Can someone point me out to a stable and fully functional MIUI rom for galaxy s2 ? . I could not find any info regarding the rom on MIUIs website as well
I use Galnet Miui (galnetmiui.co.uk) 2.11.26 and have had minimal problems.
Now...
Just because it works well for me does not mean you will have the same experience with this rom. Your phone will have been built ever so slightly differently to mine so far as the "quality" of the components go, you will have different apps installed on your phone and you will have different usage patterns to me.
So what I'm saying is by all means try it out, but also try out other roms & see how they work for you.
I find it impossible to believe you went to Miui.com, clicked on the english site & couldn't find the downloads. That tells me you didn't try hard enough, so I suggest you go back there and have a proper look. Also, you can have a look at Miui US, their rom is a different take on Miui again.
If you're not the sort of person who's prepared to do a bit of searching and experimenting with your phone, and you want a rom that's always stable , I suggest you leave your phone on stock firmware & just enjoy a fantastic phone (the phone is brilliant just running stock).
Thanks mate for the detailed reply . I did find the download section ! , however i did not find any help on its forums regarding the quality of the ROM ( what is working and whats not ) . And i still cannot find it
And i can search and experiment . Running CheckRom V4 for a while now and its pretty nice !
"Quality" is a subjective thing. It gets back to what I was saying about different people having different experiences with different roms.
So far as what works & what doesn't, there should be a changelog with every version of the rom, I know there is for Galnet's roms and I'd be very surprised if there's not for Miui's roms (which means I'm not going to do the searching for you).

But i am back to CheckRom . Was having a few problems with the Rom
* SMS app was giving constant FC ( even after trying the fix )
* Camera app was closing randomly without any errors etc
* Phone was running too Hot
* Quadrant score went down from 3600 to 2800 ( not bothered that much with that )
Just for you (because I've come to like you somewhat during the time this thread has been in existence), I tested 1080HD video just now and it works quite fine.

Do you mean that all roms here are not always stable?
Yep that's exactly what I mean. It's pretty rare to run a custom rom and not have any issues (mostly minor issues tho, mind you) at all. So many different apps, some of which work perfectly with some roms/kernels yet are nothing but trouble with others.
Stock has had the absolute living crap tested out of it by Samsung and if you want (almost) absolute stability with almost no problems whatsoever, then stock is what you want to run on your phone. On the other hand, if you're spending time on a site like this chances are stock just isn't your thing and you're more than prepared to put up with little issues that come up occasionally running a custom rom/kernel.
I know I am. I can't see any reason why I'd ever go back to stock, I can't think of a "gamechanger" or feature Samsung could put in a stock rom that couldn't be made to work in a custom rom by the *really* talented devs who post here that would make me go back to stock.

Personal lately I'm really no time to be able to analyze a ROM, so I need a very objective analysis, my smartphone is a Samsung Galaxy S3 i9300, unfortunately he has a problem in the GSM engine, which can no longer make calls and the message appears "not registered on the network" believe it or not, I have done everything in this world to be able to solve and not getting any success, already installed various types of modems, kernels, ROMS, and even make the purest possible the factory reset, the only solution would be to take on a technical assistance here in Brazil where I live, for them to use to repair the Box, finally .... I wonder if this ROM is definitely functional, ie, if it is better than the Stock ROM S3, as my machine only has 1GB of RAM need a lighter ROM's possible, not to be choking the course of use, as in the case of ROM MIUI / CyanogenMod / Omni Rom / among others ... so need help of you who are more experienced to be able to tell me if this ROM is worth using it. You may want to reboot to recovery and wipe data / cache again
Are there any instructions for install this ROM? Also, do I need to update Kernell?
My updated stock version 4.3. ROM sucks..

it happens to me too, just back to philz touch and do all the whips, and try again.

[Q&A] WhatsApp problem
I installed this epic stuff v3 version and i have only a problem with WhatsApp application. When i install it and it asks me for phone number, i type it down and after that it just gets me back to main menu, like i pressed the button to quit the application..tryed to wipe data etc..reinstall the rom, always same...then i got back on stock firmware and it worked there, so i think its kinda a bug/problem with system not my phone..any solutions? Thanks in advance

First thread, first rom, first time everything (no noob)
Okay, so I've downloaded and succesfully installed this wonderfull Rom, which makes my S3 as intended
However, as I was setting up everything I noticed that the Sync is not working. And this is in generel.
Not google, no calendars, not facebook.
I have tried every solution I have come across.
- Remove accounts,
- Re-install accounts
- Set Sync to Auto etc. etc.
No matter what I do, nothing will allow me to sync my accounts, and cannot add calendar list as it cannot find any to sync with

first of all your Rom is amazing, slimest S5 ROM for Galaxy S3 out there but has some issues.
I took backup of my contacts to SD card and Installed your ROM.
Initially all worked fine, look n feel is awesome and RAM uses is also low (thumps up).
But the moment i restored my contacts from SD card it started throwing Exceptions "Unfortunately process xxx stopped" and all.
Unfortunately i had uninstalled your ROM and moved to other.
please fix above mentioned issue so that i will again install your ROM on my Galaxy S3.

Same problem here. Have you solved yours? I try to redownload and reinstall, full wipe then reinstall. But still same problem. I am coming from another rom.

Firstly a big thank youuuuu for that wonderful ROM you guys have made..Totally Killer..
This is clearly what i was searching for a note 2 camera with no junk apps..
The launcher icons feel too small.. i flashed this launcher by sunajkram23 using TWRP..Now it looks good..even though widget and wallpaper problems..Can you increase the size of those icons and even add a "Set Theme" option..
Hope to see the S6 ROM coming too..

I have a huge problem with your mod. My Kies 3 cannot recognize my device. I strongly need to do so, because all my contacts, datas, wifi passwords and etc. are saved in Kies. Any ideas?
On the other hand, this is the greatest mod I've tried so far. No other bugs, very smoothly... and i very satisfied with it. But if I cannot access my Kies data, I have to change it :/

Flash stock kernel from OP. Reboot and start the camera... then you can use whatever kernel you want.
pls what should i do? i already installed the rom then may phone gets stock when i reboot after installing. my phone wont work anymore.

Reboot into recovery, then wipe data and wipe cache.
Performance degraded after a month use
I ve been using this ROM for nearly a month.
Everything was working fine all the time, but just last week I started noticing strange behaviour.
The phone starting lagging big time.
When I turn on/off the flashlight, it takes more than 10 sec to turn on/off
For some reason, my wireless connection has become very slow on the phone, it takes so many minutes just to download a 2mb file from playstore,while its not the internet connection that is to be blamed.
Like for instance any application that needs to update, like facebook / candycrush, etc.
Regardless which Boeffla profile I choose, the lagging just doesnt disappear.
I barely see 20-30MB ram free although I can't see whats utilizing the rest of it!
Also The smart scroll option never worked with me !
The camera takes a lot of time to open up as well.
I dont understand how it was working fine all this time and suddenly i start seeing problems.

I'm Using this ROM from last week & One word to say "Marvellous" . I've used Revolution HD 52 ROM before this For stability but that one looks like stock Rom without any customization but yours is much more like S5 in looks with keeping the device Stable & Smooth...Done a great job dude to provide us such a Rom that we cann't expect it from SAMSUNG ever For our beloved S3...finally tons of Thanks for your work keep it up Mate..

Black theme
Does this rom have black theme. It's perfect, finally I stopped flashing roms, the only thing I miss is to have black backgrounds instead of blue ones (default S5) theme.

last night i installed this rom and i found that it is not showing emojis on keyboard or even its not showing any emoji posted in comments on instagram or elsewhere. please guide me how to get back the emojis like i used to have on stock rom. (image is attached)
other thing i want to know is i installed s finder from bloatware pack..
after installing i found that it is consuming too much of my ram so please guide me how to remove s finder because seeing it on notification drawer is annoying to me

Hi, im using galaxy s3 GT-i9300 running on CM 12.1 ; android 5.1 ; 3.0.31-ArchiKernel-CM-gd13f4d1 and i have this question. I'm pretty new to this so before i was just messing with roms until i found out that this one works the best for me but theres one thing that bothers me..two actually..so,
problem no.1 : is there any way to get my menu back like with stock samsung rom ? what i mean is, that this menu is only one sided and i cannot swipe pages to "infinity" if you know what i mean..basicly when i got to an end of my apps list, next swipe in that direction got me back to the first page..but now when i get to the last page, i must swipe all the way back if i want to get to home screen instead of swiping one more time in the same direction.
problem no.2 : I found out that in this particular rom i just cannot make to work my MMS..mobile data is working absolutely fine and if im not on a wifi, i can use internet with no problems..but MMS just doesnt work..and when i tried to go into settings-> mobile data, i just get this FC "unfortunately the process com.android.phone has stopped" and i cant make it into the settings.. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sorry for my english and have a nice day guys. Thank you in advance

Why when I install Lolipop on my s3. I can't use mobile internet (2g,3g) for browser and Gapps I can only check email and etc. I tried Blisspop,Crdroid and other roms (based on Android 5.1.1). Where can be problem? Everything other is working fine just that mobile internet maybe it's with Kernel problem?

So as hectic as it was for me to find a perfect rom, for some reasons i couldnt find a lollipop one. i am currently using cm12.1+devil kernel (which is giving major FCs during installations of apk's and randoms for some reasons despite clean installs) as thats the only option i had other than dokdo that got discontinued and site/server everything is just down.
Can anyone please provide me file/link/mirror if possible?
i am to use s3 for next 2 weeks and i can really use a cm based lollipop rom, so if you're reading this and can, do leave a reply, thanks.
