AT&T's deployment of VoLTE seems very unique, based on the havoc is cause for folks on non-ATT ROMs I'm skeptical that such an update would work on VoLTE on T-Mob. But I suppose the only way to know for sure would be to try.
My guess is that it would work on the T-Mob ROM (if they included the feature in the ROM).

I've been digging around on this too. According to articles I read, T-Mobile claimed as of Nov 11, 2015 that 1/3 of their calls were on VoLTE. The more I read the more I saw a mass movement that includes Apple to implement VoLTE. A quick google search with just "VoLTE" reveals plans all over the world and most major ISPs and phone manufacturers to implement.
Hi..
I'm currently using MIUI 7 (no more update, unfortunately ) and I just love the layout and feel, etc. The drawback is MIUI 7 does not support VoLTE, and one of the operator that I use is slowly giving up CDMA, migrating to LTE with VoLTE.
I tinker a bit with LTE band, etc, but later I conclude that the operator (Smartfren, Indonesia) is not using eCSFB which enable switching between CDMA and LTE, causing my handset to stuck on CDMA (same issue with sprint user here).
I think the only way to overcome this, is by installing a VoLTE enabled ROM, which is supported in MIUI 8. Unfortunately there is no MIUI 8 for this smart device.
Any ROM with VoLTE you know will work with my Z7 mini?
bump. trying my luck.
I am planning to purchase the V30+ indian variant, and i want to know does it actually supports DUAL ACTIVE 4G on both sims, otherwise i will purchase the Nokia 7 plus which will support dual active 4g after a software update.
Please help me in this.
I have searched the thread for this, but unable to find the answer that's why i opened a new thread.

Why open a new thread when you can ask the question very easily in the India thread that already exists? That makes no sense. All the India users already read that thread.
Guys, since chipset (SD835) on v30 supports 3CA, while OP5/5T supports LTE+ on Indian carriers Jio and airtel,
Does LG v30 - Indian H930DS model support LTE+ on Jio by any chance?

Yes.
There's also a dedicated India thread where it's all been discussed.

If so, I would buy this right away, if H930DS supports LTE+ and VoLTE in custom ROMs. Need to confirm if VoLTE works in LOS..
This "VoLTE" in custom ROMs at XDA has been recently evolving as taboo..!
Anyways, do you use custom ROMs in your V30..?
EDITED TO CORRECT MISINFORMATION. YOU DO NOT LOSE DUAL SIM card functionality.

The Indian LG V30+ supports Jio VoLTE on stock India Nougat. Oreo for that region has not been released yet, and while you can flash to another region to get Oreo then you would lose the Jio VoLTE.
You can only get root by flashing to H930 or the CIS H930DS OREO KDZ.
Perhaps with root you can flash parts back to get VoLTE like the Verizon guys have done -- or even 2nd SIM back -- but I can't promise that.

Thanks for your help, but I'd want to clarify the context little clear.
As you might know, Jio is LTE-only carrier and VoLTE is the only way of calling in that network. However, my question is about something else, viz. LTE+ - The capability of the phone to support certain LTE features like multiple carrier aggregations (CA), 256QAM, 64x64MIMO
Here in India, two carriers namely, Airtel and Jio have enabled LTE-CA in major cities. Hence I would want to know since some V30 Indian guys were confirming me LTE+ in Stock ROM - if LTE+ is supported even in custom ROM after BL unlock?
(Reason, why I'm looking for this, is, networks here are so much congested that during peak time, I hardly get 200kBps from single Band40-TDD LTE cell. If LTE+ is available on custom ROMs like in OP5/6 it will help get over this congestion)

I don't know. I also just corrected my post for quoted. You don't lose dual SIM functionality with bootloader unlock and root on the H930.

Hi, just like volte support on our indian stock, the lte+ also works only Indian stock too.
I am currently on Boobox rom rooted with twrp and bootloader unlocked I dont get lte+. Rest assured everything is working great and on lte+ I saw nothing of much improvement over airtel since they have started to compete with jio prices.
So take my words root it and feel the freedom.

Thanks for stepping-in! I thought I wont get any further replies..
In my case, Jio has CA in 3 bands (Bands 3+5+40). And the place where I reside has pathetic network reception. I was about to switch to airtel, until I saw my friend OP5 getting marvellous speeds at the same place.
Also in your case, airtel has 2 bands CA (Bands 3+40). And since Band 3 will be so much congested, you wouldn't have got any considerable difference. Hence It should theoretically improve connectivity with my Jio..., However, before I jump, Can you install root app called NSG and share its screenshot?

Can you specify which screenshot you exactly looking as this app has more then 10 screens.
FYI it still has lte bands 1, 3, 5, 40 and 41 which are required in India.

I'm looking for LTE CA Matrix and LTE Cell Table pages
My current Redmi Note 4 though supports 2CA, some support on modem is missing it seems... Hence it's showing LTE+ in mine despite not aggregating with 2nd cell. I was suspecting LTE+ to be still there, but may be your ROM isn't showing you.. Hence those Screenshots would help understand that..
Attaching my device screenshots..

I based in the US and I am looking for a new phone, the lack of choice here is bad. Have you used this phone on Tmobile in the USA? Does this support Wifi Calling and Volte?

I have the EU/NA variant (DN2103) and I'm using it on T-Mobile in the USA. There are no options for Wifi calling or Volte and I'm unable to use any dialer codes to activate them. However, I do have good LTE service and everything works as expected. There are a lot of people in other countries on the OnePlus forums complaining at VoLTE not being supported and supposedly it has to be enabled for various carries by OnePlus. I'm hoping the Android 12 update will enable Wifi Calling and VoLTE, as it IS reportedly working on certain carriers in other countries.
That's disappointing, I had a Chinese version of the OnePlus 7 (Red!) for a brief period. I was surprised wifi call was working with it.

I'm suprised also. My OnePlus 6, 7 Pro and 7T all supported WIFI calling on T-Mobile, BUT they were all sold in the USA. The Nord 2 is not meant for USA consumption, so I have a feeling that's why it doesn't support wifi calling and VoLTE here.
Its still strange that i hadnthe chinese editon of the op7 had wifi calling working and the nord 2 doesnt, neither phone was for the US, maybe tmobile changed something

do you still experience the same? VoLTE is still not supported? What about 5G? Is it working fine on T-Mobile?
What data speed do you have?
