Searching and downloading firmwares work, but updating via FF doesn't work now, Huawei locked this.
Is this the most current software version for the unlocked variant of the S9+? If not, please help me download it.
Here's a screenshot.
Yep that's it, nothing to download. Except the Pie beta if you want to check out the very latest but probably deal with some bugs

I believe you need RJ2 from the G965U1 firmware thread. Use Odin to flash that and then go to the Pie beta thread for the 965U1 for the beta files.

I'm not sure, I haven't messed with it myself. Read up in the thread and you'll probably find out that it's been discussed already. some people got officially into the beta program through the Samsung+ app, you might check there as well.
I have seen there are updates which have rolled back written on them on this website what does it mean

Too much bugs.
I didn't experienced this. but as I understanding it shows you which version of miui or model that's can downgrade to previous update with locked bootloader.
Because You can't flash older miui versioi through fastboot with locked bootloader only if it has rollback feature.
anyway you can contact directly with xiaomi support services for confirming.
