Hi, this is the first time i ask a question in this forum, so im not sure if im in the correct section.
I have a table INCO quos mini and im unable to root it.
I asked in Tech supoort of INCO and they told me to go to a support service place but there will be a extra fee to do it. (im not willing to pay for something that i can do by myself), so i asked them wich programs/software i need to use and they refused to answer.
I tried with Super One Clic and One Clic Root and thei failed to root it.
During root they show me that the tablet is already rooted and during unroot i got the message "Unknown error"
I tried with Kingo Android Rood and i seen that the file system is on read only (chmod) and is unable to make the neccesary changes and transfer the Super SU apk.
I thought to root it through cmw/clockworckmod but the device doesnt have volume button.
Any help for this case? im really angry with this tablet because i know it has some factory aplications wich spy my information and consume resources on my tablet.
After rooting we instal busybox and SuperSU (or Superuser) and avail the benefits of rooting. When we unroot through SuperSU, is it possible that 'su' still remains inside '/system' folder? I came across a strange phenomenon : I rooted my Celkon Q 500 ( by Root Genius or One-click method or something else, I do not remember) and installed many root apps. After somedays, I decided to unroot, I uninstalled super su, busybox. Then, I tried to root it again. But, I noticed that one root checker says ur device is rooted(specifically through Root Genius PC software I got the message rooted and pressed the 'unroot' button, but it said failed), 2nd root checker says it is non-rooted, 3rd one says it has root access through ADB. I checked 'su' is present in some folder inside '/system', which could not be deleted , because I think, I do not have RW privilege. I had tried many method to root it again, but all failed. When I open Supersu, it throws an immediate message that 'su binary' needs to be updated and when I try it fails everytime. Can anyone meke me understand, what is the real proble.? Celkon Q 500 is Broadcom chip based, running android 4.4.2. Also I found One message in the root checker that "SELinux enforced".

Click to collapse
reinstall super su from play store go to settings in super su app and unroot there
selinux enforced means that your kernel is not permissive. has nothing to do with root
You can skip this. Unless you're truly concerned :victory:
Hi guys. I'm new here. I searched on the forums and in google about rooting Q005G and no correct results. Therewas this guy searching for rooting a geo 47i something and other models. The closest answer could be here: http ://www .infotechmaestro. com/2016/01/how-to-root-cloudfone-kitkat-android.html?m=1 (remove spaces. I cant post urls, i think) but still, i can't trust it yet.
I am looking for a correct way to root a Q005G cloudfone properly because i rooted with kingoroot on my pc and, yeah, I finished it and all. It was easy... too easy.. which was suspicious. Anyway, you might say "your device is not compatible with kingoroot", well, it says on their page their root is compatible with anything before 5.1 android, and mine was a 4.4.2 kitkat. Also, it said there it is compatible with cloudfone. So I went ahead. Anyway, after "rooting", I tried to download a root verification/checker app and a terminal emulator. First I tried using the checker, and it says root was not properly implemented or smth. Then I checked the terminal, tested it first, then typed "su". It doesnt even show anything after, but I noticed $ was before the "su".
I unrooted (dont think it was even rooted in the first place) it and deleted some apps that was supposed to be prepared fpr my grand rooting, like the titanium backup, es file explorer, adaway, etc.
Any way to fix this? Thanks for any help and salamat :good:
Also, there may be typos and all. I'm using my mobile. And I'm not too great at speaking english.
I recently rooted my device. ( my first time, go figure) After many errors and even a bricked device, I finally managed to root the device and unbrick it. I believe the opperating system was deleted in the process along the way and I had to flash a stock ROM onto the device, resulting in a downgrade from 6.0 to 5.1.1. I still had TWRP on the device and was able to put the needed superuser zip files on the SD card when in TWRP mode because that's the only time the pc recognized the phone. After install in the Superuser files in Twrp the device rebooted up and I ran a root checker and it says that superuser was installed correctly and I have root access. Now here's the issue, I went to go and turn on unknown sources and when I click on fingerprints and securiry, I'm met with an error message saying com.android.settings has stopped . this happens In a few other areas of the settings but not all. I also had downloaded another app (NT Hidden Settings) that I was hoping would allow for me to turn on unknown sources and when I click on the option to turn on unknown sources, I get anmessage saying system/bin/su missing. I now am lost and have no idea what to do. I tried copying a file named su from the xbin folder thinking that may fix the issue but it didnt. Any tips or ideas? If I have to unroot the device and reroot I have no problem doing so (although I'd probably need a concise tutorial because I had very poor luck getting as far as I did..)
