How to prepare sources for different ROMs? - OnePlus X Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Recently, a developer built CM 14 for OnePlus X (onyx) and all the sources were mentioned. I want to know how to configure those sources to use it with AOSP Nougat 7.0? What files would I need to change? A link to a thread with detailed description would be nice

Anyone would build Resurrection Remix Marshmallow Rom for Xiaomi Redmi 3?

We know that Resurrection Remix Rom is one of the best custom OS and for me it's the very best.
Please, let's share for build, tutorial video or guide.
That will be awesome.
It wiil be great if anyone wants to share the source of DT2W feature for Redmi 3.
What are required for changing the charging current? Example, Redmi 3 has 2A, and would be increased to 2,4A.
I think we need MM device tree and there is not AFAIK
For all i know we don't have any kind of released sources yet

Setting up a device tree a5 2017

Hello,
Since the A520F is new there is no device three to build a rr rom or lineage OS.
There is no recent documentation, and in the newer branches there is no makevendor.sh in the source of lineage OS.
So it seems to it is impossible to build a unofficial lineage OS or make a device tree and build cm14 from the Samsung OS files.
Can someone help me out of this?
I got the kernel source from Samsung open source and platform.tar

I want to start building my own ROM HELP !!

I also want to build a custom ROM for our LeMax 2
where do i find a guide or support ?
please suggest !
Heyyo, do you have a preferred custom ROM base? If not you could always just resume the work that andr68rus was doing with OmniROM or Dirty Unicorns or Paranoid Android as prime examples. Those would be the easiest ones to get new builds up and going for since they already have working device tree, kernel and vendor blobs.

1nfrag also discontinued his work on Nougat so you could always check out his stuff for Nougat if you wish on GitHub
Otherwise if you want Oreo? Shivatejapeddi and 1nfrag on GitHub have work in progress and the more help the merrier

There's also been some work done on LineageOS 15.1 by moto999999, KuranKaname and I for the Le Max 2 but still needs lots of work too

Question Build a clean AOSP Android 12 for Redmi Note 10

Hi, guys! I'm new at this stuff. Can you please help me to understand where I am going wrong. I want to build Android 12 from AOSP source code for Android 12 following the instructions here https://source.android.com/setup/build/downloading and separately build the kernel from here: https://github.com/MiCode/Xiaomi_Kernel_OpenSource/tree/mojito-r-oss.
After that, via TWRP install the AOSP image first and then the kernel image. And then GApps. Will it be enough for the device to work properly, what am I missing?
